Bowers Park

My husband grew up going to this park, it has a great roller skating rink for playing hockey or just skating in!!

Best park in Santa Clara! Huge shady trees, soccer field, skating area, walking path, and a brand new playground. People are usually playing outdoor volleyball on the weekends. The playground is accessible, and has a large climbing structure as well a toddler structure. Also, it has bathrooms and water fountains

Lots of greenery around with conveniently placed park benches.Located near Bowers elementary school, it has really nice grounds to play pickup soccer or volleyball ball. It has nice trails around if you choose to have a leisurely evening walk.

Not the best park Ive ever seen, but a nice cool place to take a walk, pick up a game of soccer or volleyball. On weekends, we have seen LARPing groups and other interesting things

Great open space with plenty of terrain for dogs to explore

It is great to have such a nice park within walking distance. While not officially an off leash park I let my dogs off leash for a few minutes of fetch and play with other dogs.

Classic childhood park. While on the intersection of two busier streets, the park is large enough that this isnt really a problem. Facilities are old, but good. Dont count on restrooms being open, although they are present.

One of the best parks in the area. Has multiple parks arrayed by age groups and unique park rides. Kids love it

Very nice playground for the kids. Amazing picnic tables, places to BBQ there and the grounds are very well maintained. Always clean and nice looking.

Great climbing stuff, brand new slides, swing set, monkey bars, everything is brand new and kids a absolutely love it

I visited this place all the time as a kid, so its nice to go back every now and then considering its very close to my house

Good place to hang out but is the local spot for weekend kids soccer games, so be prepared to be inundated with families if you go on the weekend.

Beautiful, clean and well taken care of

The grounds are well taken care of, nice bathroom, running water, trimmed grass, little creek where toads come out of in tbe evening. Great place to walk dogs, around that time not many people are at the park and its mostly dog owners letting them off leash so they can play.

A nice park in a quiet locality. Lots of green space for picnicking or relaxing in the shade. The playground is just ok, pretty outdated but still enough. The school next to it also has several playgrounds that are open to the public on weekends.

Great place for fresh air and a safe place for kids to play.

Beautiful little park for young kids or pets tucked away next to a great Elementary School. Very clean and basic park with a little trail by the creek and great spot to BBQ at with tons of shade and sun. It has 3 to 4 tables and BBQ pits ready to use.

We play soccer and volleyball here. Grass is a little long and the field is not flat but usually there is a lot of space and shade.

Lovely park, I enjoyed it, its worth coming by and just enjoy. just sitting there, on a sunny day and see all the things around you, its perfect spot.

Very nice park with large green spaces and lots of shade. Usually less crowded than other parks, like Central Park for example. Play structure is old though. It does have sand, which is loved by my 3 year old.

Beautiful park with basketball court, play area, vast green lawns and biking options. Ideal for an early morning walk or evening bike ride...for a soothing, relaxed feel!

This park is an excellent place to spend time in any weather. Two play areas, one community room (available for rent through cith website), clean restrooms, has a skate rink but has to be a little careful as there are some crakety cracks here n there.

Because a man that I love came back into my life there this man really made me realise how deeply my feelings are for him

It is a nice park to have events at... There are plenty of benches near Cabrillo Ave... There is also open space to skateboard and play around...

Nice park for big group gatherings.Bad restrooms with teenagers always smoking inside or even around the park and sometimes drinking alcohol although it is prohibited in this part!
