Really cute antique store. There is lots of items to look at and purchase. The prices are a little high but thats what antiques go for. Items you will probably never come across again. The lady at the register was kind and welcoming. Its small and hard to walk around. The items should have more space to be displayed and be able to admire without being scared you will knock something over. Other then that I highly recommend. Will also be best you dont walk around with kids because they can knock something down.
Lots of fun, tons of cool finds, fun to explore. Old and new and a large variety of things. Dishes, books, clothes, cameras, decorations. Prices very, not cheap but not too expensive.
Fun shopping spot! Lots of cool things to look at and buy. And so I bought... LOL
Was really excited to give this place a look after seeing all the positive reviews. Was a little let down after visiting. Place is rather small and has no air conditioning so it was very stuffy inside especially with a mask on. However, the people working were very friendly
Got some really cool glasses, and earrings for my grandmother-in-law. Awesome place to get cool trinkets and some nice vintage t shirts.
One of my most favorite places in the world
Too pricey, better stuff in other places around State Street.
Great antiques. Super selection.
Crowded store. Friendly staff. Lots of interesting things. We liked it
Employees here are super friendly
Theres so much to look at! You can usually find what youre looking for, if not, come back a week, there is always something new!!
Great browsing and a very friendly helper
Omg looooved the little collections...theyre all so pretty!
I found a great little painting of a duck here.
So fun to look back at the past and lots of treasures.
Lovely lovely lovely! Can always find interesting things here, full of surprises!
I enjoy wandering around in here and buying stuff I dont need.
Always a fun stop on state st. due to the endless wall-to-wall wonder. Curios from a different time, for sale at your convenience. Its pretty much a museum of cursed objects. Got a funky tie
They have a really good selection of stuff. Most of it is not antique (100+ years). I saw the three workers assisting people. No one approached or greeted me as I walked throughout the store. I get it, they probably get a lot of lookie-loos. They were very helpful once I pulled up with a few things I was buying. They also offered to wrap up my stuff while I brought my car to the front of the store from the parking structure to load it up.
Antique is a loosely used term here, as it is mostly a thrift store with older items. I carefully looked in each aisle, and yes I did find some things that people could find useful in each, however its largely kitsch. The prices are high too, but I actually understand because of the location. Their rent is crazy high.
I love this place. Excellent selection of wares, antiques, collectible, decorative objects, furniture and jewelry. Never know what youll find.
Great place to find whatever you didnt know you needed. They got clothes, furniture, accessories and lots of other weird and beautiful stuff! Even if youre not looking to buy anything its fun to just look around
My all time favorite resale store in SB. Great stuff, love the owners, really good prices. Great local business in the heart of downtown, walking through is always an experience, I seldom leave without something, I admit it.
Individuals spaces with a variety of modern, collectibles & antiques to browse through & purchase. They have a friendly staff & relaxed atmosphere to take your time looking at the wide selection of goods. I enjoyed my visit while in town.
Love this place to get antiques. Very cool vibe and friendly service
This place is PACKED with great finds. I appreciated the lack of old junk and a large selection of high quality and unique items.
Antique Alley is a wonderful riot of a place. Dozens of small dealers have display cases filled with everything from old Spanish and Roman coins, to clothes, cups and saucers and baseball cards. Of course, it is all in the eye of the beholder whether it is of value, but it is a great way to spend time wandering through. Very rarely is a dealer present, so, forget any sort of bartering.
Such a cool store without the pretentious, snobbery of some of the other upscale vintage shops in and around town.Super friendly staff and the store is packed full of intersting artifacts from the past and present. If youre downtown its definitely worth a visit.
What a great find on our trip. Beautiful items in the store. Prices were very good. I would definitely visit again.
Oh my goodness thrift store, you could be in there all day and still not see everything. The gentleman that runs the store is very sweet and outgoing and very helpful.
I went with my mom, personally not a huge antique fan, but I can appreciate the quality they had.
There used to be more stores like this in Santa Barbara, but even back then this was one of the best antique stores here. Both from a size perspective and a quality one, Antique Alley stands out. The owners here are friendly and willing to barter within reason. Prices for reasonable, although like all antique stores, some items are priced better than others; thats also a product of the dealer system that they run on. Things are much neater and more organized than other antique shops too. Maybe most importantly of all, theres always legitimately cool stuff to be seen. Ive never come to Santa Barbara without buying something here. Whether its a mask from Bali, a oil/vinegar combo decanter or some mermaid/man sculptures from Haiti, the diversity of items is definitely there.
My favorite place in Santa Barbara for antique shopping!
Great stores like this are hard to find. I could spend hours in it, I adore this place. Service is lovely.
Lots of interesting things to spend your money on.
Wow...this place has an incredible amount of cool stuff. Aisles and aisles and shelves full. There are lots of vintage clothes and accessories too. Plus, dont forget to look up as there are paintings, posters, rugs, neons...anything and everything you can imagine. Not too many places like this anymore and its right in the heart of Santa Barbara. Cool shop!
Lots of cool finds. So much better than buying souvenirs.
So youre deciding to see if you want to check this place out, well you should! This is an interesting store in Santa Barbara that back 20 years ago there used to be an abundance of. The store has every knick-knack and Relic and item that pertains to childhood that you can think of, the store is jam-packed with antitques & collectables in every nook and cranny so be sure to take your time looking around. The prices are fair, Im not going to say its cheap but you will definitely feel like you didnt get taken advantage of. Even if you dont buy anything its worth stopping in and being in awe of the history lesson before you. Make sure you check out the postcards, it is definitely an experience. (Old records, old silverware, jewelry, old home decor, old kitchenware)
So many nice finds in here.
Been shopping there dor almost 7 years every time i go to sb. Amazing collection. Like a museum. Love it. Super freindly owner. Thanks buddy
