This place reminds me of a spot back in Pittsburgh called the Center for Creative Re-use. If youre the artsy source, and open to fun new projects, its worth a look.I found a nice cigar box with a black velvet interior that I did my very first (oh, so cheesy) velvet painting on. There are canvases, ceramics, fabric, pens, half used paints, wooden panels. You could probably build a house out of the things they have, if you were particularly creative, and building code wasnt too rigidly enforced.I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Go check it out before going to the over-priced art store. You never know what you might find.

It was a nice place to pick up scrap for a project that I wanted to work on. The store is a little small but its pretty well organized. The owner working as well was pleasant to talk to.

My first review I didnt pay attention and thought Google was asking me about the Post Office. Duh! Luckily Art from Scrape alerted me to this. My daughter, now 19 has been coming here since 2nd grade. It is amazing what you can find on the shelves in this place! Had a number of her birthday parties here when she was younger and the kids just loved working on their planned projects. The staff is both friendly and helpful.

Go here for the most glorious junk ever, great for making recycled art. Dont go here with a shopping list in mind. You need to stay flexible in your expectations. Its opportunistic, based on whats been donated and how much there is.The program for schools is great and they do great tours and activities for schools. Also, Join the email list to find out what cool classes and events are happening.

Talk about a gem in the rough. I know its supposed to be diamonds, just go with me. This place is definitely a great spot. My friend told me about it, and the fact that I could grab a 5 gallon bucket and fill it up with anything I wanted around the store with the exception of the center area for 18 bucks was awesome. I definitely got my moneys worth of zippers, corks, jewelry supplies, Etc. This place out and have fun being crafty and repurposing items!

Go there before you go to Michaels or art Essentials. They always have lots of good material for multimedia work . Fabrics, glitter, containers, canvases, prints, pictures, and lots of overstocked supplies. Dont forget to pick up the shavings from the production of skate wheels, they are fabulous! Fill a giant bag for twenty bucks

This is a hidden gem. This the thrift store of art supplies- and absolutely unbelievable. The store is a little small- but that might be because of the amount of stuff they have in it. They have fabric, art supplies, cork, rings, vintage earrings- essentially anything you can think of they have it. I highly recommend visiting this store.

This place is pretty cool. Its basically a secondhand/thrift store for anything that might be sort of art-supply-ish. Almost everything is unexpected. You want a pile of old circuit boards for your steam punk cosplay? They have it. You want a random assortment of old maps? Done. Paintbrushes? You bet. For the craft artist, its a wonderland.
