Round1 is a great place to play pool, bowl, and play arcades really late. They also have karaoke but Ive never personally tried that.I like that they have different beers on tap, but the mixed drinks were a disappointment. They are made with wine instead of vodka or tequila, so you may want to skip those and save yourself some money. The food is pretty good though so if youre hungry, I definitely recommend grabbing yourself a bite.Overall, Round1 is a great place to go if you want to hang out late with friends or family and shoot some pool, bowl or play arcades.
I spent $60 for two jumbo plushies from the crane machine. It was okay. Decent rules for the assurance of safety earns at least an additional star. At least I felt happy artificially despite how much I spent which couldve been spent elsewhere.
There are 4 cabinets of Initial D Infinity 8, which is fun with a big groupOpen up already
Round one was so much fun. Went in at 12pm once it was 18 and older. Delicious nachos. Had fun playing the crane games even though they were a bit difficult. Also the photobooths were hilarious just that it was hard to figure out how to print.
Was only here for 2 hours so keep that in mind and only really checked out the arcade side. From what I experience games costs around 4-7 credits. Would recommend just getting the unlimited card for an hour for first time visitors. Since well theres so many games... Lots of variety. Well more like 95% is Japanese arcade games with no English text or subtitles. Ranging from racing games, lots of rhythm games, unique games, and classic ones. Would get crowded easily in my opinion since I went when it was night time and it wasnt too bad. Best advice is to plan accordingly. Oh theres also happy hour dunno the whole specifics but on certain days its happy hour. Overall, great place to kill time and hang out with friends. Probably the only decent arcade around here besides Dave and Busters but this blows it out of the park Cuz Japan games FTW. Though driving to Santa Ana is pretty long drive but its worth.
Got in a little after 10pm lets say 10:10 max. They told us that they will be shutting off the games at 10:30pm. Store says closing at 11pm. we still payed the $8 or $10 for 90mins but when we swip the card to play a game (the one that lights up green) tried it on three games. Eventually one of my friends told me that we are living because our other friend card wasnt working either and we getting a refund. So I went up to get my refund too, friend was waiting with one of the employees, long story short, we must have been the very first ppl that have ever asked them for a refund because it took two managers, a call to a third person, and 15 to 20 minutes later to get a refund. Well not be returning.
Always come here when in Anaheim best arcade ive ever been to
I never seen one in person but it was still good to see it even though it was closed
Its getting a little difficult finding a place like this for our grandkids. This is like Chuck E Cheese on steroids lots of colors, sounds and games. Great place to spend some time getting away from it all
Very fun arcade with lots of games. And theres always a staff member wandering about in case anything goes wrong.
This place has everything! My dad used to take me out bowling here when I was fourteen. Now I miss it, so I went back. Food (although not the highest quality or fastest service), rare and extensive arcade games and pinball machines, bowling, pool, music and a bar! Unfortunately, they are really slackin on maintenance, so most of the machines are pretty beat up. Fix yer games, guyz
A really good place for the kids love it my kids have fun when I take them
Always clean, ended up going later I the night but still good environment safe for young kids and teenagers. Kids had a blast and prices for modelo pitchers pretty good!!!
Love the amount rhythm games they have here.
A good fun place to kill some time. The got karaoke, pool, bowling and games. I love the claw games, they are addicting and super hard.
Best place to take your family and kick back a few brews.
Round 1 is great, as staff are friendly, the machines rarely break, and everything is very tighty; normal arcade stuff. What makes this place so special is the atmosphere (the place is always lively) and the game selection. There are a lot of arcade machines, especially from Japan, that are very rare in the states; so it is a unique opportunity to play (ESPECIALLY for rythem games).
A little pricey for the arcade. Bowling was fun. Food and drink self service is slow after you order and pay. Standing in front of the staff for ten minutes just to get cups.
Horrible customer service. Waited patiently for 4 hours to go bowling with a group of 10. Was told to be back by 10pm. We got up to stand waiting in line 5 minutes early. We had to wait for the customer in line for us to be done, we then walked 2 inches forward and are now at the stand at 10:01. We now were refused bowling and were told we were late therefore we no longer have a game.
Great entertainment, decent food. Slightly expensive. Every once and a while favorite game is broken. Good place to have fun.
Mike the bartender was amazing. He was very polite to myself and other guest. He kept us very happy. Thank you for hiring an amazing employee
Place was pretty cool. Seemed like alot of repetitive type games. Had to get refunds on a couple of non working games and an out of order sign was never put up before or after. Oh well, have fun
This is one of my happy places! Always come to play and drink. The alcohol isnt good lol but beer is good
They charge slot! Half there machines dont work, there employees dont exist,no where to be found. This company runs by no one! The best thing I can say is there ice cream scoop for a buck is awesome
Round1 is kind of like Dave & Busters less cooler cousin, but the fact they have games like Taiko no Tatsujin, Project Diva Arcade, and Wacca will keep me coming back for more.
Security guards are so rude. Especially, the heavy person. They are really bad representation for this nice place.
This place is ok, good to take your kids out, if you have any. They have karaoke, bowling, pool tables and arcades. Inside there is a small eatery for a quick bite. The games are a bit pricey. I recommend this for the older kids (teenagers). Adolescents can earn prizes but only certain games allows you to accumulate points on a round 1 game card.
Awesome place for the kids and adults. And the bowling is extremely fun
Edit: used to be five stars, but I give up. Ive tried communicating to their staff that some of the games that utilize the Nesica card are offline, and they seem to refuse to acknowledge or do anything about the problem. ONE of the two Groove Coaster units CAN connect. Neither of the Final Fantasy Theatrythem are connecting to the network (so I cant save or load my progress). School of Ragnarok are both not connecting. Two of the Vewlix fighter cabinets we tested were not connecting. Come on. This is the bread and butter or most of the games I played here!!! I spent all this money to lose all my progress? Ive been here three times, and its still not working.Old review:Best arcade around.
Wow. Yes go here its a great place. Nice staff. No worries.
Now open until 5 am Fridays and Saturdays, and games are half price!
It’s not necessarily the security’s or cashier’s fault, but my friends and I were taken advantage of. We were visiting the state of California for vacation but the establishment’s negligence totally ruined our experience. We were able to walk in 10 minutes before midnight and no staff at all told us the policy of having a 25 year old as a guardian. If it matters, one of us was 22 years of age while the rest were 20. So we got charged for the credits we paid for ($250 worth in total). A few games in, a staff member stopped us and this moment started the inconvenience. We weren’t able to play anymore, get any credit, or get a refund due to the first few games we played (5-7 minutes in). We talked to the supervisor and he basically said that he was sorry but there was no sort of compensation. We won’t be able to make it another time simply because we have to leave soon.
Amazing place to have fun with friends and family
Fun and very good food but the wait for bowling is really long
Amazing, awsome, fabulous place to take the kids to have some fun and eat.
This Line!!!! Even paying cash you have to order from a different spot to pay where you are getting the object?? I can’t believe they even have 4 starsWhen I start coming to around One it was actually FUN!!! Now..... seems like less room more expensive!!! How do they even know that CAT is 21??? Lol man my camera wasn’t working...
Nice place to hang out with the family, kids have a lot of fun and adults as well, they have pool tables, bowling, small bar thing awesome place
Fun place great for a first date to break the ice
This place is great for a family night. The bowling, karaoke and arcade are great do only downside to it would be tge price. It is not crazy expensive but the prices are a bit high. The food is ok for a place like this.
In the beginning, when Round One first open at MainPalce it was really good, meet the staff and enjoyed my time there. Lately I have seen a strong decrease in the staff and lack of care in the whole place. Honestly, it sad to see it decline but some staff members are the best! They make me feel happy
Fun games for fun people, always a great time with friends or even alone. Ddr always has a line only downtime.
Really fun place to go and play, Karaoke, Bowling, Billiards and an Arcade to win prizes! Whether your looking to kill some time or meet up with friends Round 1 is the perfect place to go!
Very clean and like that most all games work maybe 1 or 2 were down
Omg you can spend hours here screaming in excitement/joy/angstThe teamwork and competition is REAL.Its always going to be a fun night, I personally like coming later on days where its not league night so I actually get a chance to playRound1 Amusement Center
1st time was fun a little disappointed in the arcade selection. I did like the other options for entertainment such as there were pool tables, bowling, and karaoke.
The claw games are great but very, very challenging at times. Overall, i like the environment and you can do bowling, pool and karaoke too. The staff is good, but my only complaint is when you win or the claw is broken, it can take a while to track down an employee to help you.
It was clean but not worth 70 bucks for 2 games for 5 people. Linbrook would have been better. I liked that they had the UFO games Hard but fun.
Loved it! Has alot of games and you can bowl. Just a little pricey.
While it was a cleaner environment than most round 1s, this one lacked in the employee department, i like going here for the karaoke and just to take my son here to play games in the arcade, i mostly go here because its the closest, but that does not make it the best
Great place for a date or for the family they have bowling and an arcade area.
I love round 1 but I guess the neighborhood isnt that great. Taiko drum sticks had to be requested. I encountered one machine which had a damaged input.
It had a decent selection. My only real complaint is that it was way too loud. I use to play in a few metal bands and i have played venues that were quieter than this place. But the place was probably over its capacity limit, felt like less than 6 inches of room between everyone crammed in there. So they may have turned up the volume of everything to compensate? Idk, im giving them the benefit of a doubt
Cool games albeit a bit pricey. We basically go for the Taiko no tatsujin game. It would be nice if it was 4 credits instead of 5. Kid loves it tho.
Notified we were next and then we were told to wait 45 more minutes. When we waited the 45 minutes we went to the desk then they told us that we were no longer in the waiting list for bowling - all this came directly from the manager ..horrible customer service. He didnt even try to help us resolve the problem...very upset.
Really fun place I even got my two year old son into bowling
The best for DDR or Initial D!
It was really good and entertaining place to be for all ages! Great atmosphere and great vibes! Ill definitely be going again soon! Also guys! If youre into entertainment check out my YouTube channel on McBuffenFitness for A Big Burger Challenge video on YouTube!
More arcade games than Dave n busters
Mostly clean, friendly staff. Good set up for genres of games
Lots of video games if your into that..I liked the airplane ride for my toddler!
Always a great time. The crane games actually have a chance of winning, just requires strategy and definitely will take a few attempts to win. Staff is really helpful.
Really fun setting. This place has lost the offer for both kids and adults. Like the fact that the games were on when I was bowling with my son... The screens were conveniently located where I didnt even have to obviously be looking away.Have a good beer selection and the food was higher quality than I expected from a bowling alley / arcade.I guess the saying goes you get what you pay for but the only reason I didnt give this 5 Stars was due to the price being more than what I felt was justified. Im sure they have to pay a lot for that location but you can drive couple miles down the road and go bowling for less than half the price.
I love Round One! Japanese arcades are awesome, and while this certainly is not a perfect emulation of the experience, theres a surprising amount of great Japanese games here. Havent really gone to the other attractions (bowling, karaoke, etc.) but have gotten in many a round of DDR and Groove Coaster. Highly recommend checking this place out if youre a fan of arcades.
Is good place to have fun ; but they need more costumer service
Easy win for plushies!
Great arcade, full of Japanese arcade machines. Some machines are quite outdated compared to arcades outside of the area, but most look very brand new. The bowling alley is also a good place to hang out and chill.
All in one hobby and kick it center without prices like D&B. Great service, open until 5am on Fridays and Saturdays, 2$ and $3 beers on weekdays, and awesome bartenders
It was a wonderful experience, my son had a wonderful time!! Recommend to anyone with kids. The bowling is great also!!
Pretty much every single game was down or disabled. No notice of it was available anywhere when we walked in, and we only found out after spending $40 on gaming credits. Manager Tyler was immensely indifferent to our concerns and just had a smug smile the whole time, saying he can’t offer us a refund, even though the games were all down with no warning. Will NOT be returning here again.
Those tickets to order drinks bad idea takes forever... line goes for days
Has different games to play and at a fair price. Bowling was fun and you can change the theme of your tv. After a certain time under 18 arent allowed and after another time its 21+
A lot of great games to play. Much larger than it seems. Great bowling prices
Almost perfect arcade. Lots of great games, including some of Japans newest (DDR 20th Anniversary, Street Fighter V). Needs the games that Round 1 Puente Hills Mall has, though, such as older fighting games, the NESiCAxLive2 unit, etc.
While this place had a great variety of activities to do, we were disappointed overall. The arcade is super over priced and pretty much all the claw machines are rigged. Its only saving grace was that the food and drinks were great prices. Wont be doing again.
This place is horrible. The bowling lanes are way, way over waxed, your ball wont grip at all. The bathrooms are half trashed with graffiti and one stall was kicked in and out of service. They also forget to inform you that you cant have alcoholic drinks in the karaoke rooms until youre already been in them, expecting you to read the receipt you sign without saying theres details on the receipt you should know about. The manager had no interest in keeping the customers happy. Find somewhere else to relax and have fun. Wish i could give zero stars.
They need better personal, I don’t think they train their people for customer service. They’re rude. They didn’t take my friends ID at the bar, apparently they only take certain documents and that’s ridiculous because it was the same one she used at the entrance to get in. Pity, it’s a good place with horrible service.
Trash cant use other round 1 cards anymore what a rip off
The games and times with friends are always great....but when the service starts going down and attitudes are high, it puts a damper on things. Dont get me wrong the place is great and clean considering how many people are in there. But attitudes from mostly all of the staff....the security guard and the supervisor were great. Not that I had any reason to speak to them bit they were friendly. I brought my friend from Vegas here and just disappointed with service here. I probably wont be coming back.
Good bowling, but some of the staff were a bit cranky and uncommunicative. The night turned out well overall, and there are plenty of fun arcade games and karaoke in addition to bowling.
We had a lot of problems with our lane.. or balls kept disappearing. Didnt like the whole set up to get beer. One line to order at a computer. Then stand in another line to get your beer/drink.i had a good time but it was irritating having to wait multiple time because the lane wasnt working. Paying 100 for three games is a bit steep considering the condition of the lanes,Mechanical and Appearance makes out to be even less worth it. I will not be back!
Arcade buttons feel sticky or dont respond sometimes in the fighting game area other than that its pretty cool.
The restrooms were disgusting. Every member of the staff I interacted with was extremely rude. They dont have liquor, and even though they sell and allow beer all throughout their venue, they dont allow you to bring any alcohol into the karaoke booths
Was funPlayed some poolHad good time
A great place to bring the family. Prices are affordable.
Best place for Japanese arcades in the Los Angeles region. Initial D, Maximum tune 5, groove coaster, Miku, and more are all here. Also has bowling and kareoke for those that want it. Usually is crowded at night with people that just want to drink, not necessarily to play games. Skip Dave N busters, come here.
Nice place but half of the machines there are not working every time I go there. Id recommend go bowling.
Went for our team builder event for our department. we had already paid a deposit. when we got there, food wasnt ready, they would not turn on lanes until 12noon when our event started. our lanes kept breaking down, they act like they didnt want to fix it.the only good thing is food was good, everyone had a good time.if you want people to keep coming back they need to provide better customer servide.
Would sometimes go on my lunch around 12 or 1 and would go to the bar, horrible service, i can never get a drink or food and would wait about 20 min for each, i would spend most of my lunch just waiting and then would have to go back. aside from that, its actually a fun and clean place. staff is nice and the bartenders that show up later are a lot nicer and faster than the ones earlier.
I go Twice a Month Super Awesome
Really great selection of rhythm games and fighting games (if a little outdated). Im sure the bowling is also plenty functional since it seems pretty popular. They also offer karaoke.
Real chill vibe. This the type of place where you can bring your waifu to have a great time. I did karaoke with my waifus. I did not eat but the food and drinks smelled good. Played at the arcade after our karaoke time ran out, great games. The prizes are winnable once you figure out the trick. Good luck!
Great fun place. Cool inviornment.located at main place mall in Santa Ana
Went here for my birthday, a lot of awesome claw machines, requiring skill, not luck, and tons of fun games. they have bowling and karaoke, as well as a large game room and billiards.Bring your kids here, the mall is nice with great dining options available!
Fun place can be pricey
Pretty good overall. Id say to maybe double check the karaoke systems are working properly before renting out the next room (as to not take away other peoples time)
A lot better than Dave and Busters. Easier parking than at the orange block, too.
The prices are a little high here for the machines, but the tokens per dollar are a good rate. The only negative Id have is make the machines a bit cheaper, but thats it!
Great karaoke, great service, friendly employees, awesome location, lots of fun with bowling & pool. Only downside is that its not the most family friendly place, unless you dont mind alcohol being around you as they do serve a lot of booze for low prices. Not the best place to go if you would like to stay sober either, unless you dont mind the temptation around you
A lot of thing to do in one place... A lot of fun!!
