Had a great experience with Aubry. I told her my idea and she did a great sketch. I had some slight changes when she showed me the sketch the day of and she incorporated them quickly. She helped me incorporate my concepts and decide on my coloring and shading. She helped me execute my idea and did a fantastic job. She’s a really great artists and knocked out this bad boy in under 2 hours. I had a really great experience and would recommend her for sure!

This studio is top notch! I personally use Aubry(who is so awesome) but I have met most of the artist and they are all great. Each one of them creates amazing work! For those of you who are worried about covid, they have multiple safety measures in place to make you feel safe. Be prepared to wait to get your ink, this place stays booked. However, that should let you know they are an awesome establishment. Book today!!

I have been to see Aubry at Empyrean Tattoo Studio twice within the last couple of weeks. One was a touch up and she was able to breath life back into an older tattoo. The second time was for a brand new tattoo for myself and my friend. Aubry worked with us through the ideas we had and did an amazing job capturing our vision! She is an incredible artist, professional, thorough and a joy to chat with. Im excited to see Aubry again for the next Tattoo!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Aubry!!! She is the BEST artist I have ever been to, not only in an artistic way, but personality, professionalism, all of the above. Her lines are so precise, and her work comes out perfect every single time. Tattoo artist, Aubry is simply the BEST! I saw her art in person one day and immediately knew she was the one! For my first tattoo, I didn’t know what to expect, however, she made sure She knew exactly what I wanted and made me feel at ease! In addition, I was extremely nervous because of Covid, however, they checked my temp as soon as I arrived, made me wash my hands and then checked me in (sanitizing everything I touched) and everyone wore mask the entire time. It’s only been 1 days since getting it and I’ve received so many compliment and it’s not even done yet! I’m officially addicted and will only use Aubry. Oh and I’m hard to please so this says a lot!

This was my first ever time getting a tattoo and despite coming in completely unprepared, Nicole managed to design something that 100% exceeded my expectations! Everything went very smoothly, it went much faster than I was anticipating, and I still cant stop looking at my tat because I love it so much. Courtney did my nose piercing and she was amazing!! You can tell she takes pride in her work and I’ve had my nose pierced multiple times (always had to take out for work or not pierced correctly.) I got my first tattoo at this place, and it was well worth it! It was by appointment only, but it was ran really smooth and clean. I brought my six year old today to get her ears pierced and couldnt have been happier with the experience. Courtney was phenomenal with my daughter. She walked us both through everything and made us feel completely comfortable. And the best part was that there were no tears just pure excitement! Mesmerizing art, beautiful color work just so talented and perspicacious in every little detail, she knows her stuff to a T and will help you understand if you had or have any questions. A wonderful, enjoyable and if I may say so myself, heavenly experience. I got exactly what I wanted to get and it came out better than imagined. I love this shop and how they are handling and taking care of cleanliness due to covid-19! Nicole was my artist and to start off she is amazing. I had an appointment yesterday afternoon with Courtney to get two piercings. I had an amazing experience! She educated me on every topic possible when it comes to piercings. She answered all of my questions perfectly. She was very clean, fast, and professional and of course very nice. I will definitely be going back to see Courtney for my next piercings! There was no wait time and scheduling the appointment was very simple.

Myself and 2 of my friends were scheduled for piercings at 12. All three of us were done and out by 1. Everything was super timely, and Courtney was extremely nice. I also appreciated her stressing to contact her if there are any issues or questions. She stressed that that is what you pay for and I tend to forget that. However, I havent needed to contact her which is even better. Great experience!

Nicole has done a few of my tattoos and has been nothing but AMAZING! I love the work she does and you can tell she puts her heart in her work. The staff here is so nice and welcoming. I recently had my nostril pierced by Courtney. It was my first piercing beyond my ears. What an amazing place! Staff were all super friendly, and their COVID19 practices are on point! Everyone was in a mask throughout the building and they asked for me to wash my hands before starting my appointment. Everything was wiped down. I didnt have any concerns for my safety getting a piercing here, COVID or otherwise.Courtney herself was amazing as well! She was very informative and walked me through the entire process. I knew exactly what was happening and why, and I know exactly how to care for my piercing. Im following her instructions exactly and my nose is healing flawlessly.I will absolutely come back if I decide to get another piercing or even a tattoo.

I had such an amazing first tattoo experience by Aubry! The studio was very clean and modern, and the precautions taken during these crazy pandemic times made me feel super safe. I recently got a tattoo done at this studio and the studio was clean and the staff was super helpful and friendly. The artist I worked with (Aubry) was wonderful and not only did a great job with attention to detail but also working with me on my design idea to make sure it was exactly what I wanted.

I have had two appointments with two separate artists here. Di, and Short are excellent artists and will always give you a great piece of body art. The shop is clean, inviting, and makes you feel comfortable. I would highly recommend any artist at this shop. They also have regular guest artists every few months!

I had got nipple piercings at a different shop & they were inexperienced. I came to Courtney to get her to replace my bars because the ones that were used were too small for my nipple size and were causing pain. She was very professional & gave me very good tips on caring for my piercings. I recommend seeing her for any of your body piercing needs!

With new protocols in place I was able to get my ink in peace with just me and Short in the shop. Giving him less distractions. I was able to connect on a personal level with him and will most certainly seek him out for any future tattoo work I might want done

Just got the background to an existing chest piece done at Empyrean. Nicole V was amazing. First of all, I know artists aren’t always thrilled to work on pieces that they didn’t personally start, and Nicole took it on happily and in stride, creating a solid background for the piece. I’ve been tattooed many times (back piece, full sleeve, leg work, chest piece, etc) and never have I gotten to watch tv while getting tattooed. And she even let me pick the program (Disney+ for the win...). The work itself was exactly what I wanted, and she finished in around 2 hours. Super fast and super clean, and at $150/hr, some of the fairest and best pricing in ATL. Thanks again to Nicole and to Empyrean Tattoo. I will absolutely be back when I’m ready for the next one!

Easy local place to get my nose ring changed and buy new ones. The staff is so nice and the place is immaculate.

Aubry Leal is who you want tattooing you. She isn’t just professional, she isn’t just wildly talented, she cares and it shows. Her attention to detail, and her advice on what’s going to age well was refreshing. Her positive and bubbly demeanor made the time in the chair a breeze. I ended our appointment by breaking down ideas for the next tattoo, and I’m sure that appointment will end the same way. Getting tattooed by someone who is as excited about your idea as you are, leaves an impact. 10/10

I’ve had 2 tattoos done here and both experiences were pretty flawless. The second one I had just a few days ago. I was impressed and pleased to see the precautions being taken for infection control (both blood bourne pathogens and Covid-19). Sarah was very sweet and light handed while tattooing me.

Got my first tattoo here by Di & had a great experience! She was very professional & answered all of my questions thoroughly. At the consultation, I knew the theme of what I wanted but not the exact thing that I wanted tattooed. She listened patiently, gave me her opinions on what she thought would & wouldn’t work, and came up with a rough draft on the spot. If you get an original piece, you come in the day of your appointment to see the final design and if you want to make any changes, it happens then.Fast forward to the day of: I had emailed Di a few pictures beforehand and she had no issue tweaking the design to exactly what I wanted, doing so quickly. I’m really proud of my piece! It’s awesome & meaningful to me.Overall, the studio was clean and modern. I’d heard that some studios only accept cash but Empyrean also accepts card payments. The only thing I could critique is front desk service. It’s hit or miss depending on who you talk to.

Professional and helpful staff. Hygienic place and process. Courtney was excellent. She really took her time with us and made us feel like we were her only clients. My mom got double piercings ($40 for piercing, $40 for earrings. My sister got two helix piercings ($80 for earrings, $60 for piercing (I think..it could’ve been the other way around)). They also got 2 NeilMed WoundCare bottles, which were $10 each. With $40 tip, it came out to $280. Definitely not cheap, but it seems about average compared to other good piercing places I’ve been to. Highly recommend.

I originally created my appointment pre-corona and the shop worked with me to continuously reschedule until things were reopened. They communicated very well throughout the whole process, and did a great job of setting expectations. Every single person I interacted with at Empyrean, especially including the artist I worked with (Di), was friendly and created a fun environment to be in. I felt safe given the circumstances as everything was clean and they required temperature checks, masks, hand washing, etc. I couldnt have asked for more. For the actual tattoo, again, 5 star experience. Di did a wonderful job making my idea come to life. The execution was fantastic, and I couldnt have asked for a better tattoo. Di covered up a bad tattoo that I had and made it look 50x better. I can now confidently walk around with a great tattoo on my leg instead of the mess that was there before. The healing process was extremely smooth, and the Griffin salve that they sell in the shop was fantastic (would also recommend over aquaphor any day!!). Overall, I plan to return to this shop for more tattoos because I had such a great experience. Definitely recommended!!!!

Somehow during our consultation, Mike was able to take a snippet of a vision, read my mind and transform my original ink into a beautiful, extremely detailed, realism masterpiece. I cannot speak highly enough of Empyrean and the staff there. Nicole and Di both spoke with me about what would work best regarding a paw print of my dog before Nicole did the work. Ive been to Empyrean several times whether for tattoos, consults, or whatever else and have always had a pleasant experience. Di has done an amazing job with both my small and large tattoos completed by her. She always has great energy, and is very open spirited and fun to be around. Consulting with her is always so easy because she is excellent at translating my scatterbrained ideas into beautiful and high quality pieces of art while also adding her own flare. I would highly recommend her as a tattoo artist! And special shoutout to the shop manager Holly ~ my second most frequent contact there; she is very helpful and always has a positive energy both over the phone and in person. The entire shop has very chill vibes and is well organized - somebody is always available to speak to whenever I call. Its also very nice that each artist has tall walls and privacy curtains for a more personal experience. I always feel very comfortable in this shop knowing that Ill be well taken care of and that every time I visit I will leave with something I will love forever. Aubry was very professional and wonderfully friendly. A true artist, I think she was as excited to do my tattoo as I was to receive it. It was a cover up job and you genuinely cant tell.When my appointment had to be rescheduled because of the snow storm, Aubry worked with me to find a time that would still allow me to heal before my camping trip. She was so kind and accommodating.During the process, she was exactly as talkative as I wanted to be. There was no awkward, forced conversation. She responded to my stories with genuine excitement and polite questions, but was also perfectly content with silence. It was the perfect mix of friendly and professional. Seriously lovely for someone like me who normally avoids talking to strangers.Im very pleased with her work and cant wait to get another piece from her.

I walked in today and had my navel pierced by the lovely Courtney. She was very kind and knew everything about piercings. She explained everything she was doing before and as she did it. The pain was minimal, she coached my breathing as she did the procedure and I think that’s what made it so smooth. Courtney definitely kept it real when it came to explaining the after care and really educated me on what comes next. Empyrean Tattoo is a great studio! The artist Nicole is the best, she really makes the process smooth. Her artwork is great and she can draw anything out for you. Shes awesome with helping plan your artwork if you need it. I felt like all my questions were answered and my desires were met. Courtney did an amazing job helping my daughter with a navel piercing today. From the minute we walked in the door, she was warm and welcoming. Courtney took time to explain things to us and answer our questions. During and after the piercing, Courtneys experience really showed. She was very careful with the placement and explained how she determines the best spot. And after the piercing when my daughter felt lightheaded, she was get her feeling better within just a few minutes. I took my 7 year old daughter to get her ears pierced and cannot say enough good things about Courtney. I knew I needed to take her to a true piercing place vs. the mall shops who use unsanitary guns and am so happy we ended up at Empyrean Tattoo Studio. Courtney definitely knew her stuff but also had such a warm and authentic way with my daughter. When my younger daughter is ready to have her ears pierced I will 100% go back to Courtney and cannot recommend her enough.

I’ve got my helix piercing done by Courtney today. She’s professional, nice and really knows what’s she doing. We had a really good talk before the procedure, she asked question and answered mine, gave me clear instruction for aftercare. Got my helix pierced yesterday and had a great experience. Courtney was very friendly and experienced and kept me calm though the process. The equipment was sterilized and she used a proper needle rather than a gun. She answered all of my questions and walked me through after care and offered wound cleaning solution. I dont have any tattoos and this was my first piercing after my lobes, but I would recommend this establishment for piercings!

Aubry’s artistic skill was in line with what I wanted and she created a masterpiece from the chicken-scratch sketch I gave her. WOW... My experience working with Nicole at Empyrean far exceeded my expectations. Im well aware of my artistic shortcomings and Nicole was extremely professional during the process of creating a viable design based on my ideas and desired placement. I sensed zero frustration or condescension regarding the difficulty I had verbalizing exactly what I was looking for. Nicoles quote was accurate and the price was more than fair. I cannot recommend Nicole and Empyrean enough!

I found Aubry through Instagram and knew immediately I wanted to get a tattoo done by her. I walked in with a vague idea of a design and she worked with me until I was confident that I loved it. The tattooing itself was comfortable, pain-free, and paired with great conversation. From beginning to end Aubry made the entire experience so comforting, and I can’t wait to go back to her for more!!

Short is really awesome here. I had an idea of what I wanted, showed him some art of what already exists and had him make original art for it. I initially had the idea of the parlor having some flash and doing something off the sheet, but after seeing what he whipped up on an idea, he really came through and had me sold on it.By the way, they dont have flash sheets, so dont bother asking. They DO have some really good artists, so definitely have an idea of what you want and find art that has details that you want to include in your tattoo-to-be!

I’ve been to this shop twice, each time as a walk in and have been helped without any issues. Nicole has tattooed on me both times and is amazing. She does amazing line work and I will be going back for more.

We took my 7 year old daughter to get her ears pierced. Courtney was amazing - so patient and knowledgeable. The whole shop felt really clean and professional. We would highly recommend Courtney to other parents as she is really great with kids.

Very clean and professional studio. This was my first piercing besides my ears - Courtney was awesome! We were done in about 15 minutes (walk-in on a Saturday) and she explained everything, including aftercare, very thoroughly. Highly recommend!

So just got my nose pierced yesterday and what an amazing experience. Courtney, my piercer was so professional, so knowledgeable and most of all, her energy was just so positive. She answered all my questions and made me feel secure in my decision to choose Empyrean. And best of all the piercing procedure was over in like 40 seconds or something it was so fast. She took the most time sterilizing and cleaning which made me feel really good. Yall go see Courtney for real. 20 years of experience.

I recently visited this shop for a “Friday the 13th” tattoo. When I tried to go in October they had a HUGE event promoting special $13 tattoos and the place was slammed busy! While I didn’t have the time to wait I was so impressed by their options and absolutely loved that their proceeds went to a good cause. They had a breast cancer ribbon in particular that was pricier but considering my mom is a survivor I knew I had to come back for something soon.This past week they did not have the same event but I was hoping for something unique and simple and that is just what I got! Nicole took care of me and gave me the lovely Lotus I now have on my ankle. Her lines are clean and I enjoyed chatting with her as well as admiring the art in her station. I look forward to visiting her again for another simple symbol as well as cleaning up an older piece that needs to be finished.

Everything is priced reasonably and the work is fantastic. Courtney was very knowledgeable and helpful in getting piercings. Nicole has done a couple of very nice pieces for me and I will keep going back for more

I walked in yesterday to get a piercing! So lucky to have met Courtney! She is professional, detailed, makes sure you understand her process, her background and hygiene practice before working on you. She is such a delight and included esthetic advice as I was thrilled to get her expert opinion on placement etc. Tpiercing did not hurt as I thought it would! I went two days ago to get a tragus piercing. Courtney was the person to do the piercing and she was so cool and welcoming! She made me feel relaxed! She has good energy and very informative. I appreciate the fact that they sent me an aftercare form to my email and I also love that she said If I had any questions that I could contact her through Instagram as well. If I decide to get more piercings I will def go back to her for sure! Oh and I love that the place is very clean.

Got my first tattoo. They were so nice and professional. Great pricing as well. I loved the vibe and decor. Tried three other places prior and Im glad I found them. My other sisters got theirs in NC. This was my bday gift. Looks great. I thought it would hurt for awhile but I feel fine

Got my nose pierced by Courtney 4 weeks ago and have had nothing but a great experience. I had to go in today for her to put the jewelry back in due to taking it out for an MRI. If I decide to get any other piercings, I will definitely go back.
