Cedar Point is one of the best theme parks anywhere, the best thing is the countless number of roller coasters and a variety of high speed and extreme g forces. Modern and old style. There are plenty of food outlets and souvenirs. Also there’s a lot of rides and attractions for the kids and faint hearted people who don’t want to have a heart attack on some of the extreme rides. You can easily spend all day and night and then want to go back for more.

Cedar Point is AMAZING! Im 11 years old and am starting to get into roller coasters, but in past years, there have been other really fun rides that are more for kids in Snoopy World and also just in the amusement park in general. They have chain/fast food restaurants as well, like Steak & Shake. I have not been to Cedar Point since the whole corona virus started, but usually my mom, dad, sister and I go every other summer; sometimes we go two summers in a row. Cedar point is the BEST, and you should definitely go! (But if you want to be on the safer side, I would wait until the corona virus is over first. Stay safe everyone!)️️

Even with all the restrictions and safety precautions being taken, we still had a great day of riding coasters. Never felt any need for concerns as they have so many precautions implemented throughout the park. That is very much appreciated. Cant wait to come back as soon as I can!

Busy even with covid, but still fun! They enforce mask wearing and kept ride lines socially distanced, which was great. Elephant ears were also upgraded with different toppings this year

They say this is the thrill capital of the world. They would be right! This is the best park I have ever been to. The roller coasters are just the beginning. They have the best food, games, and shows. Lots of things to do with the little ones as well. Great theming and historical landmarks throughout the park. Definitely plan to visit for more than one day as it is impossible to do everything in a single day. I will definitely be back soon to visit after everything is back to normal.

Its been 12 yrs since I last came here and it was so awesome!! I love the Halloween and Fall theme they have. Its so cool!!! A few rides have changed since my last visit but it was so much fun!! Steel Vengeance was the scariest ride to me lolThey are doing really well with Covid precautions as well! There are tons of hand sanitizer stations set up everywhere, the rides are sanitizer after each car full of people. The line for the access passes on some of the rides was kind of long but there were only 4 rides you needed them for so there was still a lot you could do that didnt require the access pass.

Cedar Point is a legend in and of itself. I visited once a long time ago as a kid and then decided that it was about time to come back some 20 years later. I am not sure you can find a better collection of roller coasters anywhere in the world. Many of the coasters I remember from long ago were gone, replaced with something newer, taller, faster. But the thrill and adventure of this place remains. I am not sure how anyone can ride all the coasters in one day. Even with careful planning I fell short and will need to make another trip here in the near future. Even in the midst of dealing with a global pandemic, this park figured out how to operate safely. The staff was friendly at every corner. We were even able to find good food, much better than I would ever expect to find at an amusement park. You can spend a small fortune at amusement parks but I was able to do a day here on the cheap without feeling like I was missing out on anything. I would highly recommend their fast pass option if you are going to be there on a busy day.

So much fun. The worker were friendly and helpful. The place was clean they keep sanitized the seats, handles and the area.Well Organized. This was my first visit to cedar point and we like it so much so we decided to buy the golden pass.

It was amazing. We bought an all day food and drink pass, and it came in handy.There was great food. The busier rides currently require an access pass, which are first come, first serve.

My wife and I drove in from fort Wayne IN and I know that Covid has a lot to do with it but I remember a much different experience then my wife and I had this evening. I was looking forward to reliving some old memories with my wife over our anniversary weekend and creating new ones as it was her first time. We waited in line for 2 hours for the top thrill dragster and somehow in all the years its been around it still breaks down every time. So we left that ride it still wasnt running properly. We were able to ride a grand total of 2. I repeat 2!!! Coasters due to nearly every ride running at least an hour wait a piece. With you guys not being able to open till noon it didnt leave much time to enjoy everything you offer. Also I dont know what kind of show you offer now that the old laser light show is dead but there was no announcement that I heard about when or what it would be so theres another memorable moment missed or destroyed. Over all decent staff. Mostly handling covid decently. But I certainly am not going to spend my hard earned money on that anytime soon. A lot of hopes and dreams broken on our way home now.

The best amusement park in US. A must visit with your friends and family as they have some thrilling roller coasters. I have been here thrice and i enjoy thoroughly every time i visit. This time i went on public holiday and there was enormous lines for each ride. I ended up sitting in only 6-7 rides but it was still worth it. I would buy it’s gold pass if i were to live near Ohio.

I love cedar point as a season pass holder Ive visited 4 times during covid. Every ride was open strict sanitizing schedules make the rides line go alittle slower. Access pass is kinda dumb could definitely come up with a better system. But still a memorable time everytime I go. Would give 5 if it wasnt for covid.

The park is huge, so that can be good or bad. It takes a very long time to get from one ride to another and the wait times are long. After spending $200 on 4 tickets we only ride about 19 rides in 9 hours. It was fun though, and the park is beautiful. The number of restaurants to chose from is a big plus. And the staff is really great, very friendly and enthusiastic.

Excellent as always! Majority of people were wearing masks which was great to see! Those that werent were maintaining social distance. Theyve done a great job making the park feel secure and safeNot everything was open but I know they are definitely doing their best to make the season the best possible!

I went for my birthday and it was amazing. They have everything, if your kid is small there is still plenty of rides and for the little one most water riders dont require height so its perfect and for most adults who seek thriller rides check out the Dragster. It was a great ride. But I would go there on Tuesdays or Wednesdays because the lines are really long on the weekends, there are fast lane passes, though those are on the pricey side. They also have a variety of food and drinks. Overall it is an amazing place to make memories and have loads of fun.

Cedar Point was great. We are defently going again. We were there for about 6 hours and we had so much fun. It is so big and so much fun. All of the rides were so well done. They were so good with making sure that you keep your masks on. The bathrooms were nice and clean. The staff is so great and so great with helping. We had lots of fun. 10/10 would recommend. Have fun.

I have a lot to say about cedar point but Im going to keep this short.The food is mediocre at best. Ive never ate at Cedar point and been impressed by the quality, especially for the prices.There is only a few worth while coasters here in my opinion. As a coaster enthusiast, I find that this park doesnt have anything special, its all record breaking but its only a gimmick because most of the coasters are still underwhelming with the exception of steel vengeance, maverick, raptor and millennium force.The service is hit or miss, some of the staff members here are very positive and polite while others are very rude.The main problem with cedar point is the unregulated fast lane. Its a slap in the face to guests who dont want to break the bank and have a good time. Youll often see people doing lap after lap on the same coasters and they favor the fast lane line. This doubles the time it takes to get a ride on these coasters. Before fast lane was a thing, i was able to get a ride on everything in a day at least once however, I cannot say the same for nowadays. on My most recent visit, I arrived at opening and left when they closed and was only able to get on 3 coasters my whole day..thats inexcusable.To wrap this up, I think cedar point needs to work on its management, its beginning to be a quite unbearable experience. I wont be purchasing a season pass next year.

An amazing amusement park, but far from perfect! Cedar Point is truly the best place to come for rollercoasters and thrill rides! But, some of the other amenities are not quite as great. Some of these include, the food quality, friendliness of staff members, bathroom cleanliness, etc. If they could get some of those things in check it would truly be out of this world!

Rides constantly broke down. Wont let families sit together. Had to stand in line to get tickets for the 4 big rides, then stand in those lines. It was all ridiculous. $470 for 5 people for 2 days. Ride 7 rides in 2 days. None of the big 4 rides

Have been coming here since I was old enough to ride. Has been about 20 years, but no disappointment. This place hit my bucket list and then some!!!

Had fun at the trick or treat event. They did good with the kids. Very strick on social distancing and masks, which I appreciated. Disappointed some of the rides required access passes, I guess understandable. Lots of people.

A lot of the big rides were closed, not sure if it was because they were understaffed or what, but was very happy to see that they take the virus seriously and kept it really clean and safe. Food and drinks are expensive but in fairness, this was a messed up year for them so I understand they had to compensate some of the loss somehow. Im grateful they honored out passes another year. As long as the place is safe, my kids are happy, then I am happy.

Great variety of attractions, they do a great job during this pandemic cleaning up, but they need to be more organized moving people between each trip on rides, if you have a family of 4 and there is only 2 seats available they hold you up for the next trip which is great but dont pull any persons behind you to fill those empty seats which makes waiting time longer and frustrated. Great park overall hope to come back soon.

I thought it was amazing! The big rides are for brave people. They had little rides for the small kids. There was nice food to eat! I was happy that there was a nice area that you could play in water. Cedar Point is great for kids!

Visited this week end. Hotel breakers was very nice. The beach was beautiful.The park was a blast. Cleaning procedures are in place.Suggestions: have your employees clean walk way rails while rides operating. You could also alternate seat giving time for your disinfectant time to dry also speeding up your cycle times. At time it was like watching paint dry. But you were very Thorough. Thanks Cedar point staff for a clean safe weekend

Had a great time with my son and nephew. It was their first time on a roller coaster and they loved it! Had their arms up and everything! Great way to celebrate my sons 12th birthday

Do i really need to explain why this place is amazing? I cant put it into words. Some people say that Disneyland is the happiest place on earth, i say Cedar Point is!

The Fall Fest this year was perfect for our family! It was my 3-year-olds first time to Cedar Point and he LOVED it! Given the circumstances of 2020 and Covid, we werent really sure what to expect. But Cedar Point, you rocked this event and made the best of it given all the guidelines that had to be followed. From your reservations, to extra cleaning, to even bringing in staff from other parks to help make this event be the best possible...we truly couldnt have been more impressed. We have always loved Cedar Point, but their ability to adapt to the craziness of this year and provide an awesome experience for families trying to find a little nornal Halloween fun, we love you even more than ever! Thanks for a great experience and we bought season passes, so we cant wait to see you again next year!!

Thrilling rides! Dont eat a big meal before riding, more than likely wont sit well with your stomach. Expect to stand in line total capacity is 55,000 people! Rides are worth the wait.

It is a very fun park especially with halloweekends. But some rides close before 8:00 pm and we couldn’t go on maverick and dad was angry. Overall it was a fun trip

A full day is not enough to explore the rides. We went only in afternoon and the rides closed by 8 pm so could explore only a couple of rides. It was crowded but still a great time.

Worst trip ever. Only noon till 8. And you have to stand in line to get passes for certain rides. Then stand in line again to ride the rides. No pictures when on the rides if your mask comes down. Stand 18 feet apart in line but rubbing elbows with people across the rail from you. Should have just stayed closed. The rides were fun for the 3 that we got to ride and the people I went with were top notch but thats it.

The best roller coasters out there. Covid issues make it a little more difficult to ride the best rides in one visit. Need a better explanation of the exact mechanics behind obtaining the special passes for the 4 big rides.

Not a huge fan of the implemented Covid restrictions but understand the parks side of things. You can only ride the top 5 newest coasters once each per day.Other than that its as awesome of an experience you can get for anyone. With the obvious coasters, for both young and old, a world class water park, theme shows and much more.

Whats not to love about Americas favorite amusement park? There is literally something for everyone in the family here. This was my first time back since this whole covid thing started. So it wasnt like all my past experiences. The staff at the park does a great job staying on top of sanitizing the rides and their stations pretty regularly. The staff running the trick or treat stations for the kids were terrific. My kids loved them.

I did some research before I went with my 5 and 7 year old boys. The park is the cleanest its ever been! They clean rides and line queues down after every ride and have antibacterial stations everywhere. I definitely felt safe!5 stars for Cedar Point and Staff. 0 Stars for my kids.

Nice place. The need to wait in line to get a ride pass for a later time was off-putting and unnecessary as no one ever asked for the pass. Employees are friendly and the rides are impressive.

Cleaning frequently with covid preventions. Some main attractions and kiddie rides not open daily. Spaced out carts on rides which delays ride waiting time by atleast 3x. If you normally go for one day, go for two days. Tge wait times are so much longer with limited availability per rotation/cleaning ride every time. 12 it so kiddie attractions active on rotation and roughly 15 active thriller level 5 rides.

Great fun just wish lines was better. But it appears they are doing all they can with the new rules and regulations. Worth the trip

Had a great 2 days at Cedar Point and felt safe during these uncertain times. The employees were helpful and obviously well trained in cleaning procedures. So many coasters, well worth the 8hr drive. !

Cedar Point is doing an EXCELLENT job at making sure everyone that visits is wearing their face masks and fever free. The many sanitizing stations throughout the park is AWESOME!! The longest line I stood in was a 45 minute wait and during that time the attendant went by me AT LEAST 5 times wiping and sanitizing the hand rails!! These people really care!

Went Aug.23rd.... Due to covid they handled all the rides with care... I still had a BLAST!!!! 2 Cedar Point 2020. Hotel Breakers balcony view was beautiful!!!!! Wonderful Time!!!

We had an absolute blast. Can NOT see and do ALL in one day, plan on returning. Lots of fun to be had by all ages, so much excitement. Need at least 2 days to do everything. BUY A FAST PASS TO AVOID LINES UP TO 2 HOURS LONG!!!

Always have a good time here at Cedar Point. Im a season pass holder and live 2 1/2 hours away. But its definitely worth the drive. Love Steel Vengeance!! Best.... Day.... Ever!! I ️ CP

Wow!! Ive been all over the country riding roller coasters. This is the best park with the smoothest most electrifying rides. The view on the water is amazing. When you are riding coasters its just the cherry on top. I wish more places had there standards set as high as this place does on rides and food!!!

Dont waste your money right now. Wait until the pandemic is over. Spent 7.5 hours here and only got to ride 2 rides because of extended wait times and limited seating on rides because of social distancing. Yet they werent limiting admission. I spent a total of 6hrs in lines for two rides. I want a refund!!

My family and I had a lot of fun. We had to purchase our tickets in advance so they could limit the amount of people in the park. Cedar Point staff was on it about masks. They made sure before and after every ride the reminded you to socially distance and keep your mask on, and was not afraid to tell someone to put their mask over there nose lol. The lines werent to bad, and they had marked spots for people to stay 6 feet apart. On the rides themselves they were half full. They had us riding every other seat.All in all I felt safe, and still had a wonderful time.

Excellent experience. Arcade was an absolute blast. It was priced fairly with the high end and high win games, but if youd like to play a lot, then be prepared to spend. BackBeatQue barbeque was delicious, had the smoked brisket. We were able to ride for a few hours before getting rained out for the rest of the day, thankfully the arcade was there and we had ponchos. Current restrictions on the rides dont allow new purchased for fast lane passes. They are only honoring fast lane passes purchased before the state of emergency/lockdown being declared. Overall an amazing trip. Make sure to go to Sandusky pancake house. Fantastic food.

Im sure outside of COVID-19 this place is great but in COVID its okay. Lots of rides were closed. Lines were very long (but not unusual for amusement parks). I think youd have to come for multiple days to enjoy this. Plus you need a special pass for some rollercoasters.

Millennium force was a fun ride but the 1100am and 3:30pm to get tickets to ride the Millennium force and the other 3 popular rides. I wasted 5 plus hours in waiting in different lines to get the tickets and ride the roller coasters.Overall I enjoyed the park. Would I do it again.... Hell No!

Amazing coasters and indifferent employees. With Covid measures meaning half capacity rides at best there were many lines made even longer by employees moving slowly and continually keeping their conversations going rather that getting people on and off the rides efficiently. Several top attractions closed due to strong winds and the policy of requiring several of the top thrill rides to have an additional ticket that you have to wait in another line to get makes for frustration and inability to ride other attractions. Food options were limited with many locations closed. Could have been much smoother than it was so be prepared for fun and frustration in equal parts.

Great park, amazing rides. Plenty to do, definitely suggest getting a 2 day pass to try it all. The only draw back is the new pass set up for the 4 big rides. You wait about an hour to get the pass so they dont run out, then when your time is available to use the pass you still wait in at least an hour long line again. Honestly the waiting no longer mattered after the ride was over!

Love Cedar Point, go all the time. Can be busy some days, others its a lot slower. You never really know how much youll get to ride until youre there. Often, a few rides are down, and some of them dont open for the rest of the day

They had a lot of amazing rides. But it is not a good time to go to the amusement parks. Half capacity rides and It appears slower than usual.You are going to be lucky if you get to ride five rides all day. They had some really good shows and entertainment at least.

I loved it..get there early for a good parking space. Make sure you download the app so you can find your way around inside the park.

Best trip to Cedar Point ever! Couldnt have asked for better weather (72°, sunny and a slight breeze... PERFECT!), and the park wasnt really that busy. The majority of the rides only had 15 to 30 minute wait times for the rides. The workers were great about cleaning the rides/seats down in between riders (hopefully the corp gave each employee a bump in pay during this COVID time, due to the extra cleaning they are required to do). Hand sanitizing stations are frequent around the park and at the exit of each ride. Bravo, Cedar Point for ensuring we had an amazing day at the park, as well as feeling safe while we were there!

I had a mixed experience.1. We stayed at the resort hotel, and it was pretty worn down in the room (quarter-sized chips in the bathtub, piles of dust in the corners, balcony screen was *covered* in dead bugs and spiderwebs, full-size beds passed off as queen-size.)2. They actually require you use their mobile app. You actually have to have a mobile phone that supports their invasive app to use the park you pay a lot to enter. I was blown away by this.3. The wait times for lines after 3pm are staggeringly long. There was a minimum 80 minute wait for the grown-up rides. The lowest wait time for such rides that I saw was 60 minutes. The maximum was a whopping 2.5 hours. This is with reservations being required to get into the park. They knew how many people they were letting in.4. The staff was trying their best to deal with Covid, but there just werent enough of them.. What I saw was people flouting it. The spaces between people in line were a thoroughfare for passersby. Large groups would take up the whole 6 feet between marks, and no one would give them space. One woman literally put her arm over my shoulder to hold open a door I was stepping through.5. The All-Day dining plan was a complete waste of money. Almost no restaurants there accepted it, and the ones that did gave one or two options only. One place said the only side I could have was a fruit cup.6. I got in early for staying at the resort, and got in line immediately to ride the Maverick. It was an amazing ride. I wish I could ride it again.

So many great roller coasters. And the views from all the rides are stunning with all the water. We loved the Tricks or Treats tasting option we added to the tickets. It definitely enhanced our experience. Cant wait to go back!

This place did not disappoint. I got really lucky that it wasnt too crowded so I managed to get on every ride I wanted to, and some multiple times.Theres a beach here which you also get access to via the same ticket but I wasnt prepared and didnt have the time to check it out. Ill visit for two days next time to enjoy both fully.Like most amusement parks the food is expensive and mediocre but thats expected. Watch out for mayfly season and bring something to cover your face, just in case.

It was fun except when riding wearing mask is really hard to breath. And alot of people didnt do what they was suppose to do and i have anxiety attacks so it was harder on me. We only got to ride 3 rides from 12 to 7 for 100$ so we wish we could of rode more would of had more fun.

Cedar point has ALWAYS been my favorite amusement park to go to, they have the best coasters. Went there this past Sunday and had my first bad experience. The fact that we had to pay full price for admission and not be able to ride the four best coasters in the park was very disappointing. When we got to the park we were informed that you had to have a pass to get on 4 specific coasters, well the passes all sold out and weren’t going to be available again until 4:30. We all waited until about 4:00 and made our way to one of the lines to receive a ticket . When we arrived the line was so long that we couldn’t even find the end, and that being said it didn’t guarantee us to be able to get a ticket . I just think it’s wrong to charge full price to ride only certain rides. It was upsetting for me because I’ve been wanting to ride the steel vengeance for awhile now and thought i was finally going to be able to :(

Pure adrenaline! This is a place you have to visit if you are in Ohio, best roller coasters of the world and many places to eat.

Got there at noon but do to all the changes we were only able to get on 2 decent roller coasters the entire day.. many top coasters were down and to ride anything good required you to stand in line to get a ticket only to have too come back at a later time to stand in line for the ride.. my advice is to skip the rest of the 2020 season.. I basically flushed $400 down the drain today

Had a great time with my family. This place is very fun to ride rides, try new foods, and play carnival games. However, we did notice that the cleaning around the park and the cabin areas for those staying their was not as sanitary as you would expect. We found a lot of bugs and trash and small touch up paint jobs not being done. I guess for the price on everything we did assume that a little more up keep on the property would be done. Also, be prepared to not ride many rides if you are over a certain height or weight. I am 250lbs and could barely get onto the rides. Some part of this was a little disappointing because you would think with most people being bigger that they would have larger seats for those who want to ride. However I do know that is not their problem. It only stops more people from coming. I am sure I will be back next year, hopefully see a little more improvement from maintaining the property and the parks. And hopefully I can squeeze a little easier on the rides.

3 hour wait time. Park is only open 12-8pm, so imagine spending most of your trip in line for 3 hrs each. Youll get to ride 2 rides max. 3 if youre lucky. They only load half the cart of the rides. So if there are 24 seats (8 rows of 3 seats) they will load 2 people to each. Then they would not split parties. So this increased the wait time. Some carts would go with only 4 people in it!! Meanwhile were all in line toe to toe. 10+ mins of contact increases transmission possibility-- please look this up! Guests will catch something in a 3+hrs of waiting in line as opposed to a 2 min ride! Would i come again? Not during these times unless they update their policies and run the rides full!

I had a great time at cedar point! Although covid-19 is a major issue I personally think that cedar point did a fantastic job at following protocol and making sure that everyone was doing their part to help stop the spread of covid-19. This includes having social distancing on all rides and concessions, they also do thermal scanning before you even enter the park for extra precaution, and wipe down every time before a new ride starts.

Love it. This year is funky but its still worth a trip. Went 3 weekends in a row just living life. I always get the food and drink pass as a adult. Well worth the 50 bucks. Share food every 90 min. Deal in those super hot days.

Best Amusement Park in the world. 17 world class roller coasters and over 70 rides. Fun for people of all ages, as they have live shows, thrill rides, kiddie rides, great dining options, and many events throughout the season. Not to mention that they also have a newly renovated hotel- Hotel Breakers and new water park- Cedar Point Shores. Cedar Point excels in customer service and overall guest experience. I would highly recommend anyone to come and enjoy what the point has to offer.

I would go again, but only for a day. Buy the fast pass, skip the long lines, and make it back to the breakers in time for a swim and a cocktail by the fire pit. That would be the perfect way to spend the weekend.

Definitely enjoyed my time at Cedar Point today. We were lucky enough to be able to go on the rides we really wanted to but would definitely need to come back to hit up all the other rides we couldnt do today. Definitely recommend Valravn, Millennium Force and Skyhawk if youre into thrill rides as those were my absolute favorites from today. Also the food at BackBeatQue was really good and while it doesnt seem like a large portion it was surprisingly filling.

My friend and I went to cedar point on Sunday and only rode one ride that took 2 1/2 hours to get on. Cedar point needs to bring back the reservations. That system was so much more organized. When they had the reservations I was able to get on every ride. It’s not enjoyable to come here now, not worth the long lines.

One of the best amusement parks in the entire nation. My wife and I make a special trip annually to go to Cedar Point. This year was tough with COVID restrictions in place almost everywhere, but I appreciate the parks board keeping Cedar Point open this year throughout the pandemic despite the extra long wait times to stop and sanitize equipment and such. Overall, the park is beautiful and has some really amazing views and beachfront access to Lake Erie. Its brutally hot in the summertime but they do have a nice water park attached to the main amusement park (separate admission). Ill continue to be a loyal fan of all the wildest, craziest roller coasters that Cedar Point can fabricate for the rest of my life.

This was my last time going to Cedar Point. Never ever go there. Such a poor experience and waste of the entire day. Feels bad for kids and older people. Open to close and rode only one major and one minor roller coasters. Waiting in lane for 2.5 -3 hrs to ride less than a minute ride? Nah, thanks.You will be able to ride only once or max twice if you are lucky to get ONE pass of the ‘big-four’. Those ‘big-four’ passes are very limited and available all at the same time, 12pm and 4:30pm. So with a big luck and queuing on the pass lane for 2 hours you will get only one pass. You will hardly get one pass (because they are limited) and you won’t get any other passes to the rest of roller-coasters.The major roller coasters are “being fixed or in maintenance” way very often.And you still pay the full price of the ticket.With all respect to covid regulations, they make you keep safe 6ft distance anteriorly and posteriorly but no covid laterally across the row bars. No covid between your friends and relatives. No covid for musicians and performers.

*Went Saturday September 19 during COVID.My family and I had a poor experience. We were one of the first in the park, stayed the full 8 hours, and got on 6 roller coasters. Their two best coasters that we came across the country to ride on were both down half the day. You’d think their maintenance team would be ready to go on their biggest attractions, but no. Very slow repairs. We never even got to ride them because of their ridiculous “access pass” policies.The coasters we did ride were awesome but it simply wasn’t worth it. Don’t go during COVID. They put on the facade that they care by running the coasters at half capacity, but they don’t enforce social distancing in line. It’s a joke.If you do go, expect delays, broken coasters, and extra long lines

Worst day ever at a theme park. The rides were set up purposely so you could only ride a few roller coasters the whole day. Four of the rides required passes that were only given out at certain times and you could not get on these rides without them This was not mentioned when we bought our tickets. It is 3:52 and we have been here almost 4 hours and have still not been on a ride yet. Now the ride we were in line to get on broke down and we may miss a ride we had another pass for because of this. The pass times are specific and make it so you cant even go on rides between pass times without missing a ride you have a pass for. All of the non-pass rides have huge lines because no one can get on the other rides. I will honestly not be back at cedar point or any other cedar fair owned parks for years to come because im so angry. Other rides are broken down and the people giving out the passes are telling passerbys to just take a pass for a souvenir if they dont want to ride it. I will honestly not be back and was planning on coming back this year with my family. This is by far the worst experience ive ever had at a theme park and was deliberately caused by the use of these passes which made absolutely no sense. Steel Vengeance has been running with empty cars for hours because nobody has a pass

Amazing adrenaline park, with lots of great rides for everyone and a lot of good and tasty food everywhere. If you visit the par during the Halloween period, you will be really thrilled with additional amusement in the park and decoration which they offer. Perfect, will return again for sure, since one day is definitely not enough.

. Cedar Point, the swanky big sister of Kings Island, although bears unmistakable resemblance encompassing the past and present, is the heir truly in rein of the roller coaster kingdom . Well worth a visit for Cincinnatians ! To put it mathematically, Cedar Point : Kings Island = Disney World (Orlando): Disneyland( L.A.)

Used to be so exciting and fun to come here. This park should be closed down during this pandemic but Im guessing they are money hungry. Takes longer than normal to ride even the smallest of rides. The app is never updated correctly so wait times are far longer than it says. In 8 hours you can possibly squeeze in 4 rides. And forget about the biggest and best one. Youve gotta be special to get those. Wasted $200 on tickets and a 3 hour drive. The only thing that was nice was the live shows all over the park. This is a horrible place, just the worst idea to come here during this pandemic. Dont waste your time or money

Their app is awesome! But the wait times on the app and actual wait times can vary by as much as 30 minutes for the better. The ride we wanted to do the most was down almost all day so that was a bummer, but safety first when you are being launched 120mph upto 410!

Flew to Cleveland and drove to CP to make use of platinum pass since neither of my home parks opened in 2020. We arrived before opening and left almost an hour after closing. The lines were unacceptably long and there were WAY too many people in the park. In 9 hours we rode 4 coasters. We didnt eat (those lines were just as long), didnt have time to buy any souvenirs... we waited in line for access passes, to give us the privilege of being allowed to wait again in the real line for another 90 minutes. The premise behind access passes isnt bad, but was executed awfully and did nothing to assist social distancing.On the plus, they kept the coasters open until queues were empty, staff were generally nice, and some random guy was kind enough to offer his Steel Vengeance passes because he had to leave. Still had to wait 90 minutes to ride, but at least I have a new favorite coaster. Otherwise, the trip would have been almost a total loss.Very very disappointed with my first trip to cedar point.

Best Park Ive been to. Havent been in a few years, but have been numerous amount of times since the mid 90s. Never a dull moment.

I would rate cedarpoint 5 stars but I was thoroughly disappointed that we could not ride all the rides.you had to have a special pass in order to ride all the roller coasters and I feel like we were misguided and it should have been told to us upon ordering our group tickets or it should have been online so I dont feel like I really got the full effect of cedarpoint as I did several years ago coming as a young child.I will say that Cedar Point did follow the covid-19 guidelines

Under normal circumstances Id give 5 stars. There are things they dont tell you on the website until you get there pertaining to there covid procedures but all in all we still had a nice time.

Love Cedar Point but the new access pass system needs some work. I understand why theyre doing it but from what Ive seen it mostly results in people waiting a couple hours to get a pass then waiting another hour or more in line for the 4 rides affected by it. Steel Vengeance also requires you to have absolutely no loose articles requiring you to put everything including phone and keys into a locker (cost extra). Apparently this is because someones phone fell out of their pocket last year and hit someone so its understandable but wasnt worth it to us as much as we love the ride.

It was a pretty nice time until I lost my phone while riding the Magnum XL200. You definitely need to put your phone down somewhere before you go on that ride. But the lost and found was really helpful and shipped my phone back.

AMAZING! my favorite was the iron dragon because it wasnt super big and scary but it was kinda of nice. And theres one SUPER BIG roller coaster and it was called the dragster that goes 120 miles per hour and went 420 feet in the air. It was really loud when your right next to it. But its amazing!

Absolutely amazing place!! well kept and phenomenal. drove up all the way from louisiana for the weekend and it did not disappoint!!!

Pro: the staff did a great job organizing, cleaning and dealing with covid precautions. It felt 100% safe.Con: if you are there to ride rides... do not go. The new access pass system does not work. I got on my second ride at 6pm. That ride was the millennium force which we did have access passes too and still waited 2 hours. This was a Sunday and not busy.The access passes are only passed out twice a day and for each ride at the same time. So you have to pick which one you want to wait to wait for because by time youre done waiting in the access pass line the other access pass lines are closed. We waited in the pass line for steel vengeance, just to find out they ran out of passes. I was very crabby to say the least.

Other than the food being beyond over priced! We had a fantastic experience! All the workers did a great job sanitizing the rides before & after each ride. I felt that my family an I were completely safe with a minumal risk of contracting the Covid 19 virus. We had an exceptional time!!

They did the best they could with the COVID situation, keeping things clean and running. Wait times were 2+ hours because of it, though, so if youre going be aware of that and consider doing two days. We were there open to close and only managed to ride 4 coasters due to the wait times. Still had a great day though!

The place is amazing its just disappointing that we couldnt purchase the fast lane pass bcuz of COVID.. that just doesnt make sense. It took us the whole day to go on 6 rides but it was still worth it. Definitely going back, but only when they start selling the fast lane passes again.Oh and we were very disappointed we couldnt go on The Dragster bcuz it kept breaking down

My wife and I have always loved roller coasters and this amusement park. We have been to a few other ones. None compare. However in the past few years, the crowds are extremely overwhelming at Cedar Point and makes it close to non enjoyable at times. Otherwise, great food and entertainment. Even for young kids.

We went on the very last day that cedar point was open it was disappointing but understanding of why we couldnt ride the coasters. We wanted surprise our children which they were over 54 in that means they could ride every single ride unfortunately because of the wind factor that they couldnt open any of the coasters except for the wild twister which they had a great time on. Were looking forward to next year at least three or four times.

If you havent been to Americas Roller Coast, youre missing out and need to seriously reconsider your life decisions. Cedar Point is an awesome place to visit on a summer day. They have the best Roller Coasters in the country. Im willing to die on this hill (not in the park). Cedar Point is located in Sandusky (no relation to the weirdo). If youre in Ohio (no clue why youd visit Ohio), you want to visit Cedar Point. Its epic.

Awful! Way to crowded. They say they limit capacity...yeah right! The entire parking lot and overflow were filled. No room to social distance. In 8 hours we rode 2 rides. What a waste of money and time. Weve never been so disappointed going there. They should be ashamed.

Cedar point has become very run down. Constant ride closures from maintenance issues. The place looks terrible. Almost nothing is open. Avoid at all costs unless something drastic happens. This is not the place we all loved as kids. Even the kids rides are constantly broken and lines are long regardless of few people being in the park. Employees seem not too happy to be here. Access pass system is terrible and causes even more problems. It doesnt help line times. Very few food options available. It does not feel like an amusement park. It feels like a torture chamber. The ride running fairly smoothly is Steel Vengeance, which is a great ride. Having one great ride running properly doesnt justify having the rest of the park in complete shambles. Even Maverick which is normally reliable was closed today. The staff stated it was closed due to trees needing to be trimmed down.. Why wouldnt that be handled before it opened at the late hour of 11am. Its embarrassing how little Cedar Point cares about bringing actual enjoyment or fun to its customers that still pay high prices. A couple slices of pizza and a drink was $33, for example.I would pay for a high quality experience. You cant even buy fast passes this year, yet there are people using those lines. If you read this you will understand that this is not Cedar Point at its best and not the place many have come to know and love. This is a sad attempt to continue to collect money.

Not completely Cedar Points fault, but every line was 2 to 3 times longer than normal due to Covid. Every roller coaster needed 2 empty rows in between occupied cars. Seemed like they couldve asked groups who were together to sit together. Then lines could move much quicker. There were quite a few attractions and restaurants closed. Im sure some of this was staffing issues. They did turn the arcade machines off right at 8:00. In the past this is usually what everyone did as they were making their way to the exit. They usually stayed on an hour longer. This seemed a little much, despite the ticket prices were the same as pre-Covid. The park was clean and the staff was friendly.

A huge kudos to the park and its staff for an excellent day! From mask enforcement to hand sanitizers, all of us had a thrilling day of coasters while feeling quite safe!

Overall good experience through this pandemic. I was a little frustrated paying $65 for a funpix pass... that we were denied a picture because my daughters mask slipped down while she was going 100 mph (or so) on a ride. Worker told her to bite her mask next time. Food lines and drink lines were for the most part easy and short, quick moving. The skateboard ride operator seemed to be a little too neurotic for cleaning... making what shouldve been a 15 minute wait into an hour... we ended up leaving as we had another 45 estimated wait due to social distancing methods they used (much more stringent than EVERY other ride we went on. The millennium force ticket system was a joke... hour to get a ticket... 2 hour wait for the ride. No way could anyone do all 4 coasters that required a pass. But we will still be back because they are doing what they can to deal with the pandemic and keep the park open for us families.

(**2020 review) Cedar Point has always been a fun day destination. Although there was a health check tent we mazed through to get our temps checked, not one person was. No Halloweekends this year & several rides, areas & stores are closed but overall still fun! The kids trick-or-treat moved quickly throughout Kiddie Kingdom but their Tricks & Treats tastings...very popular idea but not completely thought out. Very long lines at some places & the fries, which were delicious, were the biggest rip off because they were so busy. Rides were wiped down often & seating was spaced, which caused longer waits but the employees were kind & people understood the dilemma. Quite a few fun, Halloween themed outdoor shows and the park is still kept very clean. I hope 2021 is a better year for all.
