Clean and well maintained. Plenty of space for large gatherings and a playground for children. Bathrooms are available with a drinking fountain for added convenience. After a visit to the park you can take a small stroll towards the lake.
This is a darling park. Its just the right size to tire out little tots on the playground and trail or take your leashed dog for a daily stroll. There are doggie disposal bags and trash cans provided at both ends of the pathway. I threw sticks in the lake for my pup Dixie to fetch near the boat launch docks. For those of you just moving to the area, I highly recommend coming here and follow down to the arboretum to read all about our local trees and vegetation. There are placards to explain right with the living example!
Very nice. Open but still enough shade around to relax.
Neat botanical garden and lots of space for picnics and the kids to play. Nice play equipment.
I go to this Park almost every other day to take my regular evening strolls. I plug in my headphones, crank the volume, and sit and enjoy the sunsets. I enjoy taking pictures of this place, all over. Its where I go to find Zen and think about everything. ~ This is a very therapeutic location. And perfect for kids to play with the swings and payground. Also great for big family gathering with a covered picnic area.If i could give more that 5 starts Id give it 1000 more. 110% amazing.
This was a really cool Park the concerts they have lined up are really cool as well we went to the Gavin DeGraw and Phillip Phillips concert. There are plenty of shaded areas with picnic tables to enjoy your day a great playground for the kids and there Acoustics for the concert is amazing I did not expect that large of a quality sound to come out of such a open an outdoor area.
Exactly why I love idaho. Labeled learning parks that allow dogs on leash gorgeous and informative!
Nice clean park. Great place to listen to the concerts but not have the crowds. Not the best sound quality though.
The boat launch Currently only has one side that is deep enough to launch. Evidently some Idaho boat owners do not care if they park their truck and boat trailers behind others. It is only capable of about 15 truck and trailers. Easy access to the lake and river
Great for a quite walk or somewhere to take the kids to play. The museum is also nice for kids a bit older to learn about the history of Idaho. Its also in a great location.
Came here for a concert. The venue was nice. It’s clean. Good sound. Lots of vendors for food and beverage. It’s a great setting.
Lakeview Park is the perfect location for many entertainment venues!!! I have wonderful memories from the days we first arrived in Sandpoint. Our first experience, volunteering for the Festival Green Team, within days of our landing in Bonner County, yes, CRAZY, and absolutely SPECTACULAR!!!
Fantastic Place full of Gods Love even pray there twice Awesome stuff too
Beautiful atmosphere, and spacious area
Its a beautiful park water access an awesome trails for kids
Loved it! So quiet and peaceful. Lovely fall colors!
Great park and field! Getting better!
Lots of open space, train caboose to look into, playground is best kids 4 and up. You might get a whiff of the sewage treatment plant if the wind is just right.
Dont know what to say nice view
Nice little park
Nice quiet park. Big open yeah with wooded area in the back. Play ground area for kids
I loved the museum. It was very educational and interesting. Great staff also.
The park is nice and the Arboretum is great however there are a couple of drawbacks. Youre not allowed to have dogs in the park which matters to me and in the summer when the wind is blowing right you get the Lovely smell of the brown trout hatchery right next door (the sewage treatment plant). There is a nice play structure for kids though.
This place is pretty much part of every locals childhood. The plants are gardened very well, the playground is maintained, and there is even a museum.
Beautiful area, park, 2 lighted tennis courts, playground - but, unfortunately, no dogs allowed...
Beautiful
Very nice park we stopped to eat lunch
The lake is absolutely beautiful and the park is nice and shady
Very nicely done.
Nice view - good picnic spot - lunch break too.
This was a great concert we went to
Not a good park. Short walking area that is plagued with the stench of sewer smells.
Great place for lunch and frisbee with the dogs
Nothing too cool here
Nice park with a variety of amenities. Tennis, playground, swings, arboretum, native plant walking path, picnic shelter, bathrooms, and, if you walk east along the path a bit, theres a basketball court. The Bonner County Historical Museum is there, also.
Green grass and lake view
WONDERFUL
Great place to bring the kids to play or relax. Lots of activities including movies in the park and the museum
Great pizza!
Kid friendly. Good place to listen to concerts at.
Love my town! Nice little park ... dogs welcome, very important to me!
Great park! My kids just love it!
Very nice, no trash, theres a walking path with trees
Lonely park with no water access. Does have some great old trees.
Beautiful park!
A good play ground that most of the time no one was there.
So nice and quiet.
Nice place
Nice place
The park itself is nice...it is located next to a sewage treatment plant and the wind was blowing the smell over the park....it smelled heavily of dog poop...turns out it was human.
Was great!!
Awesome place to hang out in the summer
Great place for the kids to play.
Nice park.
