We tested out the range facility. It wasnt very busy so we didnt have to wait at all and the prices were super low. 16 dollars for 110 balls! It was nice and quiet so I didnt have to worry about cars honking. Excellent place!
A very difficult golf course. The fairways are narrow and long. Many holes require a 200 yard carry to reach the fairway. The greens are big and a challenge of their own. Recommend for the accomplished golfer.
Review for golf: high price tag and very little upkeep. The tee boxes were in the worst condition I’ve ever seen. Not only was there no grass in most tee boxes, but they were not even remotely level. Your feet should not be noticeably above or below your ball on a tee shot! The only saving grace was that most greens were in good shape. For the money, you could play much nicer public courses twice!
Very nice and challenging course. For some reason the tee boxes have been completely abandoned. They’re mostly weeds and dirt. The fairways and greens are great though.
Not sure what’s going on at The Bridges Golfclub. The tee boxes are completely destroyed and the course was saturated with water (multiple tee balls plugged in the fairway). In all my years regularly playing this course, I’ve never seen it in worse shape. Sad. The fairways & greens were in good shape and staff was friendly.
First time that I have played here. Value for money the best golf experience I had at San Francisco. Course was challenging but fun to play. Staff were great and offered advice without having to be asked. Make sure you get here early and use the range to warm up. Clubhouse snacks were good. Pro shop staff were helpful and ready for a chat. Wished I could have played again as it is one of those courses you need to play a few times to understand the course better. Go and play this course.
Only made it to the driving range. Was great. Could definitely use a little shade but besides that it had a good vibe
Im not sure what is happening with their tee boxes but they are a mess. Perhaps the worst Ive seen for a non-public course. There tee markers are beat up and rusted out too. Seems to be a lack of effort. Fairways and greens were in good shape though.
2020-Aug-22 cant rate the course we couldnt play bcuz smoke from the Huge SCU (360K acres) Complex fires was so bad it was very unhealthy. AQI was probably between 150-200 !!! But the management was VERY Understanding letting us cancel our tee time with no penalty.
I recently got married here and the venue, staff, and ambiance was just spectacular! Celena, Sandy, and Colby were personable, helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, understanding, professional, and organized. They kept me calm throughout the whole wedding process. My guests were impressed with beautiful views throughout the property and was very photogenic. I highly recommend having your wedding or any other event at The Bridges.
Its a really beautiful coarse but its also very unforgiving & exstreamly tough. Other than the scenery theirs not to much to go out there for to tough to have fun. Unless your a really good golfer.
Its ridiculous theyre charging full price when their tee boxes dont even have grass on them. The course in general was in terrible condition, greens were uneven, fairways had multiple spots where the ball would just stick. Save your money, stay away.
Very poorly maintained. Hitting off dirt AND uneven lie on tee box is unacceptable. Green looked like it hadnt been mowed in days.
I only went to the driving range today. Its a decent facility despite hitting off mats. The balls are mostly in good condition. Seems like every time I go there the computer is down and they can only take cash. Interesting??
Came here for breakfast hosted by my company so I dont have a lot of specifics. Food served was very good. View is awesome even on a cloudy day. There are multiple event rooms to host a large number of attendees, and ample free parking. Very easy to find with Google maps. Staff is friendly and very helpful.
Its fun to play this course. In most holes, you need to be pretty accurate while others are more forgiving. Of course I can say that about many courses I played but youll know what I mean when you play Bridges.
Well designed golf course. Would comback
Nice clubhouse and proshop as a private golf club. Weve got a very warm welcome from the staff in first tee and he gave us really good advises. Tee boxes condition are good. Fairway and well maintained as well as green. However, there are quite a number of holes got damaged rough as well as tee side area due to car passage. Quite some blind shot to be careful and the course layout wasnt straight forward at all. Green are mostly challenging.
Well kept grounds, classy venue. What more do you want?
Great course. Bring your A+ game. Lots of trouble. More of a course for experienced golfers.
Very slow in the afternoon,. All the beginners are out.
I came here for a wedding and was not disappointed. Amazing green views all around the property with a picture perfect row of houses lining the hillside.Inside the clubhouse was served some delicious apps before we went to the party room next door. Another great room perfect for large gatherings.
Great course. Challenging and well kept.
Large group there for wedding and dinner, could not have been a more perfect place.. First class!!
Great place. Daughters wedding was extremely perfect
First class. Wedding reception was immaculate. Food outstanding. Staff attentive.
The Bridges Golf Club was the perfect venue to hold our company sales meeting. The Garden Pavilion was spacious with a beautiful backdrop, parking was plentiful, A/V setup was great, service was excellent and the food was on point. Sandy and team were extremely accommodating for our group needs and the meeting went off without a hitch. Looking forward to coming back!
Good location, but rude service people at driving range there ruin the place.
Very nice course
It is so oretty but so dirty, too much trash
I am so happy I booked this venue. The entire staff was super helpful since the very beginning. Celena & Sandy were amazing to work with and they responded right away with whatever questions we had. On the day of the rehearsal I was introduced to Colby who would be our coordinator for the day and she was absolutely amazing. On the day of the wedding, our photographer failed to show up on time and my husband said Colby was calling all the photographer she knew since we were not sure if she would be showing up at all for our event. When our photographer did arrive, she took us away from our cocktail hour which is something we were supposed to have enjoyed had she been there on time, and Colby was nice enough to give us 15 extra minutes so that my husband and I could say our hellos and enjoy it with our family and friends. Silvia was also great making sure we were good with our food and were constantly refilled with our wine. Everyone was amazing and all I heard all night was how we had the best wedding ever and it had to do with entire staff at Bridges for making the wedding look flawless!
Golf course is in good condition, the course looks kind of plain, not that pretty didnt notice any water hazard. But the course has a lot of trap. Your shot had to be precise.. placement is the key.Not worth it if paying the full price. Discount price, ya!
Some people dont like this course because its not an easy course to play. There are a lot of a sloping and off camber lies. It takes skill and patience to play this but I find it fun because its challenging. Also, there are some very long shots over Broncos and canyons. Because of that, I dont play from the White tees. We move forward one set of tees to the yellow tees.
Nicely maintained. However, the course is very skinny through in through, and greens are very challenging. No brakes on this course. Not sure that I thought the cough course played fairly. Not really impressed.
A find!!! Good food, open to public, nice views, go and try.
The Bridges is a fine golf course. Only those very good off the tee should play here. That does not include me. Had a ton of fun anyway.
Course in excellent condition ... fairways n greens well maintained ... some tee boxes hard to get to ... otherwise great course
Just went to the driving range. Big range. $18 for a large bucket with 110 balls. Also a nice big putting green for practice.
We were allowed to play here since my brother was getting married at their venue. The course was challenging yet not so hard that it wasnt fun to play. Unfortunately since we were playing the day before the wedding and the bride didnt want us getting sunburnt or being too tired for the festivities both later that day and the day of the wedding we only got to play 9 (okay we snuck in a little more without the bride knowing) holes, so I cant speak to that last 5 holes. The venue was great for the wedding, they were very accommodating and let us setup some of the decorations after we finished golf the day before. I rented some clubs which was pretty expensive but I must say I loved them which isnt very usual when playing with clubs that dont belong to you. Finally I thought I left my wallet there and they were very helpful in helping me try to find it, looking up cart locations, searching the returned carts even looking on the path (turns out I had just lost it at home, oops :))
My wedding day on July 14 th, 2019, was beautiful because: the Bridges Golf club was a beautiful venue, and everything was very organized. Celena and Sandy were very responsive, communicative, and very pleasant to work with. Colby our wedding day Captain did a great job on organizing everything. She was very kind and pleasant. Overall I am very pleasant with my experience.Thank you againLeila and Amir
Nice placr
Great course. Played Rich par bogey and had a great day.
I was working there and arrived early. Ordered a Club Sandwich and It Was Great !! Staff are Great and Easy to Work With
First class, hit it straight!!!
Tough but fun course!!
This place is a jewel of the San Ramon Valley. Ive had many events here and they are truly wonderful.
Our organization has met at the Resham Center in Fremont three times over the last few years. The Bridges Golf Club has catered our luncheons. Our members have enjoyed meeting in the large, bright, roomy center. The catering staff has been very helpful in setting up the tables and food for our luncheons. The food has been delicious and plentiful. I would recommend the Resham Center and The Bridges Golf Club caterers.
Very challenging course, and the facility is always well maintained.
Very nice Club. Was there for a wedding and the venue was picturesque. The bar area was a bit crowded but the food and drinks there were great. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Very challenging golf course, nice management and nice fairways.Enjoy your game!
Interesting though layout w lots of forced carry and strategic thinking required.Service was friendly and helpful in the proshop as well as the driving range, restaurant and starter.Would give 5 stars but greens were painfully slow. Maybe a temporary thing.
I really like this course having beautiful view everywhere. peace and quiet. but very soaked after raining
The staff members are outstanding. They are very polite and patient and professional.
Our company recently hosted our 4th annual Golf Tournament at The Bridges whom we have used before for the past two years for the same event. This was my first event and time working with The Bridges team. Both Sandy Tijero (sales/catering) and Dan (the Pro Shop) were such a joy to work with. As a company we did have a lot of demands and changes up until the day of- but Sandy and Dan were extremely accommodating to our requests and needs and did so with grace and ease. The day of the event Dan made sure to have all hands on deck with staffing to assist our group of 115 for golf. It was such a fun day! The Bridges is a beautiful course with lovely views and the dining room not only fit our needs but the food was simple and delicious. I would work with them again for future events- personal and work related.
Reasonable price, but the course is definitely challenging
That par 5 on the back... treacherous. Tons of fun though from 1 through 18.
Beef and broccoli special good flavor
Great place attended a wedding and had a great time
Nice course great service and quality price
Begginers shouldnt play here. Matter of fact if u cant hit a very narrow very precise green or fairway stay away
Celena Genest handled every small detail for our Father’s celebration of life at the Garden Pavillion at Bridges Golf Club. Jaime who managed the staff the day of event, could not have been more accommodating and the entire staff turned this most difficult time of our Father passing to a most pleasurable event for all who attended. The best venue with breathing views.
A very nice golf club and also good place for wedding party or birthday event. Or just go and have a cold drink under the sun.
Great course if you enjoy target golf. The greens and fairways are well maintained. Temperature can be very warm in the summer.
Challenging Course, they could have earned 5 stars by picking up trash, add a towell & bottle of water with the cart rental. The course was in great condition, although very wet in places. Look forward to playing here again!
Driving range $$$Large Bucket @ Bridges $16, everywhere else nearby $10. Also, no chipping to practice greens.
Have not been golfing, but planning a large event here. The clubhouse and garden pavilion are really nice and spacious, plenty of space for 250 people. The special events department has been a pleasure to work with.
Attended our granddaughters wedding. The entire event was wonderful. Food was excellent!!!!
Very good test of golf. Accuracy is the game on this course. Not long, but you are penalized for missing in the wrong spot.
This is a pretty cool golf course. Dramatic holes flow up and down a canyon. It is also probably the hardest course Ive ever played. Wayward tee shots are rarely to be seen again. The are numerous forced carries, and there is usually a ravine on one side of the fairway and long grass & bushes on the other side. Most greens are elevated, have big slopes and usually firm and fast. Youll rarely have a level lie in the fairway. Oh yeah, the wind usually picks up in the afternoon, if not all day. There are no old folks out here bunting it around, in fact, the course is usually empty.Ill come back again but, Ill better have my tee game a bit more tuned up.
Real nice, greens where fast even though it rained early this morning.
M reviewing the practice center only. Gotta say Im not a happy camper. This was my favorite range for years. I always purchase the range card since I hit balls multiple times a week. Was informed rates went up my last visit and was charged the new rate on the range card I had already bought before the price increase. Feels unethical to me to change the price already agreed upon. When I asked if they would honor the old price on the cards purchased before the increase I was told we havent increased the rates in 8 years, I still dont know how that answers my question.*Searching for a new range :(Pros: Good balls. Plenty of room. Good yardage markers. Good putting greens (multiple). Friendly staff.Cons: Too expensive.
Was here for a wedding cerimony and reception. Great venue hall and the area where the wedding was located had a nice view over looking part of the golf course.
We had the best experience planning a wedding at Bridges. The staff are responsive and will help make everything perfect. It was better than expected in almost every way possible.
I’m a wedding coordinator who had a wedding at The Bridges Golf Club. If you like a natural outdoor ceremony and indoor reception, this is a very affordable place. All of our guests, including bride and groom— were impressed by the view and service there. I would hight recommend it!!!
Sorry everything there is old and not well maintained they need to change the decoration
Well maintained golf course and managed
Tough and fun.
Was here for a chamber event have nothing to compare it to
Really fun course but can be a challenge. If youre not very good be prepared to lose a ball or two because outside of the wide fairways theres not much to keep your ball out of canyons and heavy shrubbery. Course is usually in great shape but can get a bit sloshy after some rain. Reason Im giving it 3 stars is I dont think the course is worth what they charge.
Great golf course with excellent layout. Very difficult green but very fair. But few holes were GUR. Overall very satisfying.
This is a very good example of the business owner trying to get everything right, but, spoiled only by an out of touch staff of the place, unknowingly.Played a round on 10/3/2018, was surprised by the aeration and sanding, as there were no warning nor notes when I book the reservation. Very nice pro shop staff. All and all good course to play. This is a very nice piece of properly located in prime San Ramon location, where most of the residential housing are built. Very convenient, very nicely situated in the community. Pick your time tee properly and you wont have traffic problems, else, it will be a challenge. Starbucks and restaurants near by, or buy grocery on the way home, how good is that.A Johnny Miller designed track will guarantee suffering or challenge depending on how much you like Johnny. It is scenic, although you see houses everywhere, it really takes a super bad errant shot to hit one.The first hole immediately bring you down to earth what this course is about. A draw-ers course with narrow fairways, lined bunkers, elevation changes and undulated greens.I didnt like the fact that they change the second hole from a PAR 5 to a long PAR 4. As a result, it has become a very strong hole to begin a round. You will feel beat up after that hole, if you didnt make a decent bogey. The journey begin as you are convinced that all holes are as tough as the first 2, first 3, first 4, etc., etc.,But, there are plenty of birdie holes, which without the prevailing wind, tricking you to think they seemed too easy, then, BANG, it hits you again and again, and you think you can drive the #10, but, you really cant, LOL... It is relentless. playing mind trick on you. Driver is not your friend on this course, as you suddenly realize, and I hope you realize sooner than later before you run out of holes. The #16 which was the old #18 with 75 yard deep green make you think of Johnny again and again...The tempting #18, even the number shows you can...A lighted, separate and dedicated practice facility belong to this course. A rarety. An almost good day, ruined by the Director of Golf, Dan Osterberg at the practice facility after the round. My partner and I went to the practice facility after the round, bought a bucket of balls, discussing some of the shots we have played about each others swing and tips on the course today. Mr. Dan Osterberg, interrupt our discussion and ask me aside and wanted to talk with me. He said he had seen me on their video camera numerous times giving lessons to people on their practice facility. Obviously, he either mis-identity me for someone else (he wont give me the chance to explain), or basically very determined of pinpoint me doing something wrong (which I have no idea, maybe using the practice facility for lesson or teaching?), as there are plenty of people around me either giving tips to their practicing partners or friends all around the practice facility, I see many apprentices accompanied and receive instructions from either coaches or teachers or parents alike; but, single me out for no apparent reason to me. Ask me to leave the facility, without letting me explain that I do no such thing, even when I ask him to produce the video he had claimed he saw me doing such thing, which I have never done anything like it, nor am I teaching or giving lesson to anyone what-so-ever. He couldnt produce the said videos he claimed he had. But, still, ask me to leave the practice facility without good reason, IMHO. As I am puzzled by his action towards me. Either he thinks I am taking his business away? Which is ridiculous, or he simply doesnt like me? I dont even know what I did to deserve this unprofessional treatment. Very very odd! He asks me whether I am a PGA professional, and I told him no. And I told him that we are just talking about our swings during the round we had just played, and discussing tips to each other. I mean WOW!!! How insecure is this person?I hope everyone is aware of this odd behavior in this practice facility. They have real issues!!!
Im giving this a 5 star because I just love the unique layout. No boring holes at all. Not an easy course, but nowhere near as difficult as it was ten years ago before they redesigned it.
Nice place, enjoy in hall
Enjoyed the Links course, but incredulous that on a hot Sunday, they did not have any beverage service. Would have been nice to have been told that prior to Tee time. Apparently, from we we were told by having to ask a few different people, that the person called in sick.
