The dog park here is dirt and small, but everyone has their dogs cruising the rest of the park which is beautiful!

Wow! What a nice Park! Very clean, the guy working there and cleaning was nice and friendly when I asked about the place. Its big and pup friendly. Dont forget to bring a dog toy. Two cages to let your pooch loose

Good access point for the trails. Has water fountain but no restrooms. And every once in a while you can see a king snake

This is a wonderful little park! The landscaping is meticulous, and it was very well designed. My favorite part is the elements included in the two playsets. They seem standard at first, but there are some really cool and creative clinging elements, including handle on the outside of the structure--where the kids will climb anyway! Highly recommend.

Fantastic facility. Cant wait until all the facilities are open after Covid.

This is a very well-maintained park with lots of amenities and activities, including disc golf, water play, dog park, and indoor soccer field. Not on a busy street. Good for walking, since the park is so big.

Great to bring the kids on a weekend. There is an intractable water feature that little ones can play with for hours, a playground with unique equipment ( not just swing and slide) and my personal favorite, a 6 hole disc golf course. This course is amazing for a beginner to learn how to use a putter and mid range disc (I wouldnt use anything over a 6 or 7 speed and those speeds are only for hole 4). There is also a basket ball court, soccer field ( often closed if it rains) and various trails and paths to explore. There is also a second area that has an additional play structure and a dog park. All around good park.

My mid-day trip showed me the view to the west, partially clouded by the marine layer over the ocean. A gorgeous, sunny day at the park shared with lots of families enjoying picnics and family games. Ill have to go back at sunset to enjoy that amazing view at its most spectacular.

This is such a fun park! To basketball courts are also a great area for the kids to roller skate and roller blade on. The walkways are always so nice and clean. There is a volleyball court. Lots of open space to barbecue and picnic at. My most favorite part about this park is the waterpark!. The park is such a great area as well lots of climbing and jumping and a really super fun seesaw for the kids to play in.

Huge park. Two separate play areas, one is covered and the other has swings. There is also a splash pad and restrooms close to one play area. Good sidewalks for kiddos on bikes, scooters, etc. Dog friendly as long as theyre on a leash. Not many tables for sitting at though and does get really hot in summer.

Interesting playground, has some play structures that are different than other parks. Great place to go during hot days because of the splash pad area. Also has nice trail type sidewalks that run throughout the park, nice for lil ones to run around or ride bikes and scooters on.

Great larg park.

Big park lots to do, good family park and sports park in vista/san marcos area. You can also BBQ and kiddie like water park spouts and even a dog park. Its nice!

Went to see fireworks on the 4th. Good view except for some trees blocking the view.

Park is always clean and kept up nicely. Plenty for kids of all ages to do and well as a splash pad! Kids love it everytime.

Great park with lots of shade, free parking in a large lot. Basketball courts, lots of green space and walking path. Shaded areas. Playground with shade canopies. Splash pad (just water shooting out of the ground in small fountains, and a couple are out of order--nothing fancy, but a great way to cool off year round). Large bathrooms.

Love the soccer field. Though it could use a vacuuming to remove some of the rubber. It has a bit too much

A fun place for the family the only thing missing is swings for small children. During the summer they have a splash park open.

Very cool place to come and hangout. They have a dog park, huge field, and plenty of playground space for kiddos. One side is covered and the other is not.

Playgrounds are still closed due to covid-19 but theres a lot of green space to play games and remain socially distant

Super fun in the summer, but not enough shade when summer comes. The splash pad is awesome and very well maintained, enough sprinkler style heads and kids loved it.

I have been looking for an nice enclosed dog park in north county mid corridor for a long time! So excited to find this park. I have not toured the rest of the park but it looks really nice!

I go to this park as a break on my hectic day to relax with family or friends amazing park. Please dont hesitate if you come across vista, ca!! So manny things you can do .. valley ball, basketball, water to freshen up splash your kids and shake of heat of the day and feel the good breeze!! Then enjoy watching your kids have a great play time as you take a break!!

Great park to go to especially if your on a budget with kids they have this water area the play area big enough to walk around. A little water creek its just a really nice park to go too

Big beautiful park with separate indoor and outdoor soccer fields. two separate play grounds and a short disc golf course. there seems to be multiple parties here every weekend during the warm months, so plan accordingly.

I love this park. The snakehead climbing structure is a little weird, but fun. The water play is amazing. This is a very nice, well maintained park with something for everyone.

I love how big this park is and how there are multiple play areas. I try to go during the week instead of the weekend because it deffinitely gets pretty busy/packed with families enjoying the park or people throwing parties. Even if you just want to walk this is a really good park because of the size .

Love this park. Its got a kids area right accross from the volleyball court. When i play a game of volleyball, i could still keep an eye on my kids. It also has like a wet zone where kids can get wet so be sure to bring them bathing suit and sun block for those hot sunny days

Tho I only played basketball, I did see that there was something for everybody in my family. Seems like a great place to bbq.

Park itself is great. I went there for the disc golf course though, which is pretty basic. Thats fine if youre just learning or if you just want to throw putters.

We absolutely love this park. It was a little hard to find the entrance the first time but now that we know where it is, its easy to get to. Kids could play on the playground for hours! Theres a nice grassy area and the splash pad is a blast. There are also basketball courts. I only wish they had more seating near the playground. We usually just bring a blanket and plant it near the playground.

This place is HUGE as far as parks in San Marcos go. Its got a pretty large splash pad that our 2 year old loves and a big, updated playground for kids a little bit it older. Great place to watch a Pop Warner game, they usually have the snack bar open during games.

This park is amazing! There are two great playgeounds, a few fields and even a dog park!! It is perfect for the kids and the dogs!

Park is really big and relaxing. Lot of parking spaces and also has a little water spot for the kids. Has decent size playground and basketball courts. They also have an indoor soccer field and volleyball court.Plenty of distraction for the family.

Very nice setup. Restrooms are located in building next to the parking lot. Fantastic shaded kids play area with plenty of things to keep them busy. Theres even a large water spray area to cool off in during hot days. They even have a dog park fenced area located near the west part of the park. Plenty of grassy slopes and picnic areas with tables and shade.

Really enjoy walking my dog, Chloe, there! Especially after a hard rain and the sun comes out, so beautiful!

This is actually the place where my wife and I had our first date. I brought her a sub sandwich in the agent there. Now we take our dogs there and it is gorgeous. Every time were there theres another dog for hours to play with and they definitely need the attention. Huge Open Spaces. Great for disc golf and all kinds of other sports. They also have in indoor soccer arena thats outdoor. A humongous playground and a cute bridge. Awesome for pictures really love this place

Sunset Park is a great place to spend a day or evening. Basketball courts, volleyball, play structures, dog park, soccer fields, indoor soccer arena, and picnic areas, along with a spray ground and lots of sidewalks means there is lots for everyone to do.

Really nice place to take the kids to.

Had a birthday party and it was amazing to have food right next to a playground of the right next to a water feature. The kids were able to switch between playground and water easily and the party was an amazing success because of it. Even with the heat there was a nice breeze coming from the ocean. Very nice well-maintained park.

The library is closed and very nice.

Loved this place we will be back
