Got my first tattoo here and the guy really seemed like he couldnt care less. Rushed me through really. Called the tattoo off when it looked close enough to what we discussed. Figured the guy just couldnt do thin lines. Didnt want to look like a high schooler took a sharpy to my skin the rest of my life. At the end of the day its fine but not good work. Wish I had an artist give me my first tattoo. Live and learn.

My son got his 1st tattoo here. It was his own design to which they had no issues of using, which is a big plus. Alot of tattoo artist like you to use there art so this was exceptional of them to use my sons own piece/design. It was a small, black ink only design but very affordable. Great work. Tattoo looks great!

Fast and friendly service. I got a memorial tattoo for my grandparents and my tattoo artist was so respectful and caring. She wanted it to look as beautiful as possible, and free handed a flower she thought would go beautifully in it, and she was right. I’m so happy with the service, staff, cleanliness, and outcome of my tattoo! 10/10 would come here again.

Sox is amazing in his workup and execution. I was a walk in, he told me 45-1 hour, I was in and out within 40 minutes, and absolutely love the design. I will defiantly be back.

I just gotta say that this place is awesome. Came in 2 weeks ago as a walk in, and was taken care of from the time I walked in to the time I left. Brandon whipped up an awesome design just from a couple things I said and it turned out and healed amazing. Crisp bold lines and great coloring. Will be coming back here when I start my sleeve.

David was great and fast. Daughter went in for her first tattoo and I decided to get one too. In and out in about an hour and at a reasonable price. Will come back again.

I followed Rebeccas work for a few years before I ever approached her with an idea for mine. Her botanical work on others that I know was so recognizable, beautiful, and the shading/colors were perfection. Exactly what I was looking for. She took the time to dig into what I was wanting, while allowing her artistic magic to shine through. I chose her first as an artist, and we co-created a vision for what would live on my body. The actual tattoo process was more like a meditation for me - her presence was calm, positive, and steady. I cant imagine a better experience than what I had at classic, and in the event I choose to get another one, it will be with Becca.

First tattoo there by Daniel, I came in with a tattoo idea I drew when I was twelve and told him base it off that and he made a master piece. I get compliments from everyone who sees it. Really chill artist, laid back atmosphere, also gave me a bandage the saved a lot of the color and healed super fast. Definitely going back to Daniel every time. Not that expensive, art worth the price. And spent hours watching others get there tattoos, others work were nice as well!

When I decided to get my first large piece I went to Rebecca. She completely customized a half sleeve and worked with me in every way possible! I recently got another smaller piece done by her at a convention in Denver. Shes fantastic to work with and talk to. The artists at Classic are friendly, flexible and incredibly talented. They are committed to doing solid work and making their clients feel comfortable and happy. I only wish I still lived in the area!!

They were pretty nice, and I was excited to get my first tattoo here and it was a simple cross. Solid color, very easy to do... And the Guy made the line crooked. But I disregarded it and went back for my second tattoo... The word inspire very small on my arm in simple cursive and it was nearly $100! My boyfriend went with me to get one too and it was completely different then the outline, turned out very feminine, and he had to go to somewhere good to get it covered up. For sure not going back.

Classic Tattoo is AMAZING!!! I love this place I have gotten one tattoo here and one fixed and I love them both! Sox did them for me and he did a great job!! I had gotten my nose pierced somewhere else and it was a terrible experience and it ended up getting infected, but I came and talked to Dave and he gave me the proper care instructions to clean it and some helpful tips and a website for more information and now it looks great! I would strongly recommend this place to anyone who wants quality work done, these guys are really clean, and professional. Its hands down the best shop I have ever been to!

All of the artists here are PHENOMENAL. Their technique leaves lasting bold images and are not rough during sessions. Healing is a breeze. BEST IN TOWN.

The tattoo service is really great and so is their aftercare advice, same thing with piercings.Today I went to a different shop to get a small tattoo done but the artist there wrapped it in plastic wrap(which ended up letting it bleed through my clothes) so I walked over to classic and they got me cleaned up and bandaged up properly(Im sorry. Ill stay loyal to yall from now on!).

I stopped by Classic Tattoo today to get my nose pierced for what I can only hope to be the last time. Dave was my piercer, and he was just fantastic. His set-up was extremely hygienic, he thoroughly explained the after-care, and was incredibly efficient. I dont have any tattoos, but Classic Tattoo is definitely making me rethink that choice!

I got my nose pierced today by Dave and he was awesome! Seriously if you want a piercing go to him! He made me feel so comfortable and he was making me laugh the whole time and he actually cares about his clients so he has you come in for a check up two weeks after you get your piercing. Highly recommend!!

Id get tattooed by any of these artists any time. They are very professional and friendly, and are willing to work with you on custom pieces. The shop is clean and bright. I seriously cant recommend these guys enough.

Dave pierced my nose today and he was phenomenal. Not only was he thorough, safe, and clean, but he was also incredibly skilled! While everyone has different levels of pain tolerance, I barely felt the piercing or the jewelry insertion. Major props, Dave!

Ive had work done by three different artists at this shop. Morgan, Rebecca, and Brandon are all doing top notch work all around. Everyone is super friendly. Shop is clean and well lit and I dont feel like Im walking into a gathering of the juagalos when the door opens. I honestly wouldnt go anywhere else.

This place is great! A friend and I walked walked in around 9:30 at night, spur of the moment. Fair prices, and Joe is AWESOME. Id recommend him to anyone who is wanting a piercing. Sharky gave a bunch of us memorial tattoos for our mother. First off I wanted to get mom written underneath it. She said it would ruin the tattoo. Secondly this was the first person I’ve ever seen and I have a lot of tattoos that charges more based on placement. I get most artist hate doing small tattoos but we brought in 6 people and have 3+ more who want it.After getting my tattoo I told her that I wanted to pay for my two sisters. She then told my sisters it was on the house for them but yet charged me the full price and of course lead my sisters in giving her a huge tip. If classic tattoo is going to hire people that treat others like this it will not be a place I’ll wver go again. Since San Marcos is my home town I will also be passing the word around to all my friends and their friends.Did you not read what I posted?? She told my sisters they were free. So they gave her $120 tip when my sisters found out I paid they were pissed off.

The first two tats I got there were great. They were well done and still great looking. The last tat I got there the artist seemed distracted. Had to have a couple of smoke breaks. Yes, it took over an hour, but donthe they all. It was not complicated, just deliberate. Took three hours with the breaks.

I got tattood by Sharkey and I have to say I absolutely love it! As well as everyone in the shop. Its a great atmosphere, everyone is super friendly, and the shop is super clean.I would recommend this shop a million times over. Love love love classic tattoo!

Please read! These tattoo artists are good at what they do, however they are very rude and over priced. I have been a loyal customer to this shop for years. I even traveled long distances. I put up with their stern pushback on my tattoo ideas that I wanted on my body, which I was willing to PAY them with MY money. Fine, they probably have more experience than I, I thought..and sure, its also their name on the art. My last piece, I spent almost over a year working on, which I had put a lot of thought and meaning into. It ended up coming out half my ideas half his. The last session, he totally half assed it and told me he didnt want to finish it with my final requests because it was hard to work with me. So...last time I checked, tattoo artists fall under the service industry. That means they provide a service to customers for which they get paid. If Im paying you MY money to tattoo something permanently on my body, at least finish it with some dignity. Did I mention how he milked me for my money too? I put up with their unprofessionalism for far too long for the sake of a good tattoo. I have more work to do, but not here. Theyve lost a loyal customer because of their pride and inability to provide acceptable customer service. Attitude is everything.

Jaylind was supposed to complete the other half of my tattoo today, but emailed me at 10:37 pm last night to ask if I could reschedule because she was tired. (She had also already emailed me earlier that night to ask if I could still come in today and I promptly replied that I would be there) When I got the first part done, I told her that the 25th or 26th was the absolute last day I could come in because I travel for work. I was originally supposed to come in for the first part of my tattoo on Feb. 2, but she rescheduled that time too so she could go to Mexico. It didnt really bother me because I thought I had plenty of time, but shes too tired to work today and she knew beforehand that I couldnt come in after today. What am I supposed to do? I work 9 months out of the year primarily outside of Texas. I just dont want her to have any extra portion of my money because she kinda screwed me over, so I asked for my deposit back. She told me I was unprofessional and HOSTILE because I told her that, in this situation, a non-refundable deposit is stupid and that I think that what she did was lame. I just wanted a better solution. Shes a good artist, too bad she has such a terrible work ethic.

I got my septum pierced here over a year ago and really could not have had a better experience.Joe Garza was my piercer!!!! He gave me clear details, and laid me down on the piercing bed (which I think is better than sitting up for septum piercings). The actual piercing DIDNT HURT AT ALL and didnt bleed!!! Which is uncommon for septums. It literally felt like someone had pinched me, I was expecting so much worse. It healed straight, no infection, absolutely the best possible outcome!!! The price is great and the jewelry they give you in small and discrit, not to mention comfortable. Very clean and professional job also.
