Zacster’s is a one of a kind place. Where do I even start? If you need R/C Parts, cars trucks, drones and even toys/ models, this is the best place. The gentleman I dealt with was very helpful and even generously provided me some of the shops own solder (solder not sold in store.)I really enjoy businesses that are genuine and kind to all customers. Hobby shops sometimes have a stigma of “beginners suck” attitude. It was the complete opposite when I stepped into Zacster’s.I highly recommend Zacster’s to anyone looking to get in to a hobby or to supply themselves with parts and other toys.Lastly, the prices of all the parts and paint I purchased were the cheapest I have found in the San Luis Obispo county area. I hope more of us will continue to enjoy hobbies and R/C. This is the best place to go!

Has everything I need for my RC habit. Reasonable prices, no extreme small town markup. I wish I would have called yesterday before I made the trip as they were closed due to an appointment, but no reason to drop the rating for it. Definitely going to be spending more money there for sure.

I have never had a bad experience at Zacsters. I discovered this gem of a shop by chance when looking for local hobby shops that carried Gundam plastic model kits. At the time they didnt carry that line of products, but they were willing to order some in for myself and others who had an interest in this niche pastime. I bought my first Gundam kit from Zacsters and it made me fall in love with a new hobby, which in my opinion is exactly what a hobby shop should aspire to do. These products are hard to find in America, and the fact that Zacsters was willing to accommodate their clientele to the extent of ordering products from Japan and doing their best to stay stocked with these products left a lasting effect on me.Ive shopped there for around two years now and Ive only grown more satisfied about this business with time. Warm, friendly customer service and a nice array of RC toys, games, model kits, puzzles, and art supplies, and decent prices keep me coming back time and again. The proprietor has also been excellent regarding communication, answering questions quickly and sending pictures of what products they have in stock upon request. Not even Covid-19 has impacted the quality of their customer service. Yesterday (6-12-20) I was pleasantly surprised to see them open for business and with new model kit inventory to boot!In all, Zacsters Hobbies and More has been nothing but good to me and it feels like they genuinely care about and take a vested interest in their customers. This really is a hidden gem, and Id recommend it to anyone looking to begin a new hobby or support an existing one.

KILLER hobby shop. Super friendly staff that will walk you through your purchase, and keep your toys up and running. Ive been out of r/c cars for a few years, so I had a million questions - they took the time to patiently explain EVERYTHING. I cant wait to go back for my next purchase, or some upgrades. You gotta check em out, will absolutely do business with them again!

I was really impressed with the prices at Zacsters. I used to work at a local craft store and the prices for Zacsters Art Supplies are really good. The only draw back is they dont have a lot of them. They have Lots of Games and Toys and a fun variety. The owner greeted us when we entered and asked us to let him know if we had any questions. He was working on restocking as we were ready to check out and promptly came to the register with a smile. Anyone who reads my reviews knows good service and a pleasant disposition is very important. We got a couple of Geode rocks and I couldnt wait to crack them open. Pretty cool. Thanks for a cool little shop - I look forward to going again soon. I went in here for the first time after seeing an ad on Facebook. I was in the market for a Traxxas RC truck but didnt really have a specific model in mind. So I went into Zacsters Hobbies and was pleased to find several brands including Traxxas RC vehicles. I asked a handful of questions and the help I received was very useful and friendly.I ended up purchasing a Traxxas Slash truck and some accessories. Prices on everything I purchased was fair and competitive. They also have a good selection of games, paints, toys and more. Definitely worth checking out.

Cool store with lots on art supplies and lots of rc cars and planes.

One of my absolute favorite places to blow an afternoon or a paycheck (whichever slips away quicker) these days! The kids eyes all light up each time we walk through the door and the magic of Zacsters is all around us. The pricing is hardly competitive, but they have recently implemented a rewards program which does inevitably save you some cash! I recommend Zacsters (if nothing more) than the service is phenomenal, the atmosphere is inspiring, the products are top quality, and you cant beat the convenience!

Fun shop with a wide selection of toys, games, hobby supplies and remote control vehicles. The owner / operator is very friendly and knowledgeable. If you are looking for some gifts for others I recommend this store since the owner can help slelect an appropriate item.

Great shop and a valued addition to San Luis Obispo retail. Not having had a well stocked hobby shop for some time, SLO was desperately in need. It seems that this one will fill the bill.

Best Little Hobby Store On The Central Coast! Zac carries a nice assortment of hobby related products and toys in his store.If you are into drones like I am, Zac stocks a variety of drones, accessories and parts ranging from beginner indoor drones to mid level racing drones . I picked up a couple of entry and mid level, near RTF racing drones from Zac. Sure I probably could have paid a bit less on Ebay, online or from Banggood (China). However, if you run into problems or issues getting your drone up and running, good luck in trying to resolving those issues from an online or overseas company. Zac goes the extra mile in helping resolve whatever issue Ive had. He even contacted the company in China while trouble shooting what was preventing an entry level racing drone from performing as advertised.Zac stands behind the products he sells. He is very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Product support is excellent.
