I cant seem to show up during business hours and she still manages to get us everything we need. Art Store Rock Star. I am SO HAPPY with this hard working local store. My art student is over the moon with it.

This is the absolute coolest art supply store I have been to in a while! The selection here is phenomenal. They have everything you could ever need and everything you did not even know you needed, haha! The staff here are equally AMAZING as well. So helpful and knowledgeable. They have created such a welcoming atmosphere, I felt comforted knowing that each question I asked was met with a genuine and sincere answer. They even offer a student discount!

Smaller than I expected, but fully stocked! They had the items I needed, that my local Michaels did not

Stopped by to stock up on sypplies. When I see an art supply I have to stop since they seem to be a dying breed. The staff was very friendly and chatty, and was attentive to what I was looking for. They had a good selection of markers and pens that I was looking for. I normally get Copic and they had a whole line of prismacolor, but sale prices were unbeatable so I grabbed a few.

This place is SO inspiring. The employees share so much knowledge, they practice art themselves & know many local artists. So it gives you all the art community feels. A little pricey but if you become a member it is nearly the same prices as Amazon, etc.

From materials & supplies to workshops & a lending library, this wonderland has it all - PLUS - patient, knowledgeable staff who are willing to explain, suggest & share resources.

Im disappointed in the way we were treated today. I came in with my 12yr old son to buy supplies where he was using his OWN money that HE earned by working. When it was time to pay for his purchase he was helped by a female cashier. He mentioned he had a school id. I walked by the counter to see if he needed my help with anything and I asked him if he had used his school id to get the 15% off discount that they advertise in their window. She answered for him and said rudely, its for college students. Well first off, this is not the first time we have been here. Last time one of the other employees was very nice and had also told us about the discount. I didnt challenge it this time, as she seemed easily peeved, but on the way out I had my son take a picture of their sign. It clearly states student id. Not college student id. He is a student and had his id but was ignored. We will be back, but will be avoiding her at all cost.

Good indie art supply store, close to Cal Poly and SLOCA. Offer art student discount. Part of store is set apart as an art gallery. Classes and a membership program are available.

Super helpful and friendly staff they had a lot of supplies and Im not used to that because Im from a smaller town. Found everything I needed and more, plus they had a small clearance section that had some awesome supplies as well. There gallery hosted a lot of inspirational work.

Great spot, extensive product line friendly staff and a list of workshops some of which are FREE! They have a playstation where you can try out various applications as well as media. Looking forward to the all day event coming up, celebrating the anniversary.. look them up on their website for dates and times...

Places like Michaels have their place, but they can never replace the feel of a true art supply store. The staff here is super friendly. They have art demonstrations on the weekends, and fun gallery that displays work from local artists. Art Centrals pricing is very reasonable, and they have a student discount!

Its ok. The owner doesnt provide the friendliest environment but she is helpful and kind to customers. She helped me choose a sketchbook thats perfect for me and the variety of art supplies is plentiful and satisfies all my needs for my architecture courses.

This place is great! Etty the owner is very knowledgeable and will order anything you want if they dont already have it. You can get ordered products usually within days. They also offer a membership discount for supplies. I highly recommend for central coast artists.

Good prices and friendly people. Supplied me with everything I needed for my art class by listening as well as being proactive and keeping lists of required materials for Poly and Cuesta art classes on hand. All around excellent place!
