My husband and I walked here from the Palace of Fine Arts around 5 pm and the center was closed but the view on the beach was wonderful. We just sat on a bench and relaxed after a long day of walking around. We also biked across here after biking across the Golden Gate Bridge, which was a lot of fun.

Great spot for photoshoots

Its so serene and beautiful.

A great place for a picnic. Beware potentially mind-cracking tough parking during peak times.
