Just came for drinks. I recommend the Irish Mule. Very tasty. Right now seating is all outside and to get a table you have to order an entre. We were provided with stools since we were not eating. Worked well
It is what it is. A typical Irish bar that shows sport. Therefore you get what you went for. It gets pretty busy during a big game or event. The bathrooms need more attention especially considering they are unisex. Decent selection of drinks. Some of the screens are kinda poor and you can’t really hear a thing during a game. If you’re out with the lads lads lads it’s probably perfect. Maybe I’m getting old.
Casual dive-y-spot. Good attention. The crowd seems mostly locals.
Great staff, atmosphere, and drink specials/selection. And of course, theres the mighty Irishman Gavin Quinn, who makes it the best Irish bar in SF !
The bar itself is nice enough but the people that hang out there are pretty annoying, it’s like loud Midwestern transplant central.
Great neighborhood bar, always something going on and open odd hours for (football) as needed!
No disrespect to the the door guy seems like he has a miserable life. Was there for the fight and was respectful when he said it was full and was waiting for people to leave. After a few parties left, still made myself and another girl wait in the rain when it had way more room to occupy us. He also went out of his way to cover the screens from the door instead of having the respect of people waiting outside in the rain to see the fight. Seems like a nice spot. Door man needs to be retrained. Power trip or just having a bad day I think I have nothing against him personally but having people wait outside when there was lots of room for another party of 8+. When there are people waiting outside that was already inside and need to reconnect with their friends accommodate them. Good luck to you and your business.
Brian is a gem and keeps me coming back, feel like its the neighborhood bar that every neighborhood needs!
Had a excellent experience in this place with my daughter. The food comes out rapidly and the service is just awesome. Prices are fair.
What an absolutely lovely bar. The owner is delightful!
Great neighborhood sports bar. Can get crowded on weekends during college/NFL football games. Friendly staff, great location for watching any/all sporting events. No food is served in the bar, but there are plenty of local options for take-out.
Great bar on height street! Definitely coming back! Great beer selection, and a big crowd of people! The decorations are old signs, and beer bottles etc. All I can remember are the cold beers . Check this bar out Id you are in the area!! A huge selection of beers just for you!
Soccer bar and other sports, featuring Tottenham, Bayern, and other football clubs. Good beers, good atmosphere, great place for sports and drinks.
Brian behind the bar did everything to make us welcome. We just came in as tourists to watch the Ireland Georgia game. Great seats good beer, friendly chat at the bar too with one of the other regular customers. They dont do food - not a problem, we were able to bring in food from the deli on the corner. I will call in again if I am back in San Francisco. Real people serving real beer in a friendly bar.
Best bar in the world. Thank you so much ️
Visited here 1 week ago from Oklahoma and it was trivia night. Had a blast! Lots of locals hanging out. Meet some interesting people. Had the nachos, Yum!
On haight st, people come from out of state, sports bar, attractive women there.
Amazing Irish bar with a great atmosphere and a really nice bartender. Would recommend the Irish coffee.
Wanna watch European football and meet new people? This is the place to be!! I dont go there as often but I sure have spent a lot of time and money here over the past 10 years and yet I always meet some new and crazy people there!!!
Great service, well priced drinks. Standard Irish pub. Everyone feels welcome here
Great joint for watching any type of sports. Bring in outside food if you want. Friendly staff, mix of neighborhood locals and folks from other neighborhoods.
Yesterday my friend and I happened upon this establishment after her fantastic hair appointment. Kieran the bartender was more than charming and made it the end to a perfect day. Kieran, if you read this we were the two gals that ordered Titos martinis (cause you had no Kettle one) cant wsit to go back to this jewel on Haight.
One of the best bars in SF. No food but can order in from dozens of restaurants nearby.
Great for Seahawks and Chargers games
Fantastic Irish Bar, great Staff & drinks!! Totally recommend
Great atmosphere, great whiskey selection, good selection of beer/cider on tap (not a ton of taps, but all winners). Very entertaining trivia guy!
Sports bar! The basketball fans were loud and having fun. Brought the atmosphere of the bar up
Fun place to watch a game (its known for soccer but any big game is fun). Crowd can be hit or miss (read: sometimes douchey) but the bartenders are always friendly and fair. Ive seen a bartender diffuse some heated situations with grace and kindness while still being firm.
Sports bar and Manchester United fan club.
Great atmosphere for the boxing and everyone was there to have a good time with no nonsense
Fun.fun.fun.......sports...live music.....fun crowd....fast service...mellow neighborhood vibes!
The place to go if you like soccer. good service and local crowd
An excellent place to watch early morning Premier League games. There are normally about 10-15 his there on Saturday and Sunday mornings. A good crew but not so big that its overly loud.
My father and I showed up at 330pm looking for a few good drinks and a cool bartender, but instead not one employee was insight-- an electrician had to get one from the back. When we asked if it was open he said I guess so. I suggest walking right back out of the bar if the bartender is an old, gray haired, frail man
Affordable for the city, lots of tv’s to catch games too
Love it! This is a great place to watch sports or to jaw with neighborhood locals. Brian the bartender is a class act and has an extensive knowledge of your favorite spirit.
Great football bar
Great neighborhood with plenty of TVs, good sound and cold beers! Whats not to like!
I dont like all the physical fighting that happens here
Great place to catch a Tottenham Hotspurs game.
Best bar in the Haight! Great crowd for Seahawks games. The best trivia host on Wednesday nights. Awesome bartenders! If you lose your glasses, Dan will find them.
The place to go if you like European soccer. good service and local crowd
Great local pub. Intl football, American football, UFC - this place has it all
A great local, neighborhood bar with a great shot and a beer special. Sports are always on. Staff are super friendly. The regulars are awesome.
A well lit, smallish Irish bar is a nice neighborhood where they’ll quickly learn your name and favorite drink. It’s usually not too busy, which makes it a nice place to unwind with friends after a long Friday. But if you come during one of the popular game days, there could be a line well out of the door.
Great spot to see the Seahawks with other fans.
Now has a pool table (02/11/20
Obsessed with this bar, the owner Brian, and bartender Gavin. I strolled I’m on a Tuesday and immediately felt like a regular! My favorite pub in all of San Fran. Solid DC Community.
Friendly bar staff, 7 big TVs, free WiFi, free phone charging
Good atmosphere, adequate beers.
Great bar for soccer. Probably good other times too.
Lovely neighborhood bar. Dog friendly,
This is a sports bar. They love the Chargers. They REALLY love the Chargers. Watching a game here is an experience, and kinda the best kind.
Loved it. From stl and couldnt ask for a better bar
AMAZING place! Really friendly with locals!
Amazing bar, great to watch English Premier League if youre in San Francisco
Friendly, fun place with great scotch and mixed drinks. Not too expensive for being in the bay area either.
Cozy neighborhood bar. Great sporting event coverage especially soccer and SF Giants. Not really any good specials. No food. Service varies.
Great bar with wonderful staff
Great bar I love it
Always a great service, fun place, always a good time!
I personally hate sports bars but I still respect a good one. DC’s is the sportsiest Irish pub on haight! From what I can tell, this is an ideal spot if you’re looking to get smashed and watch the big game!
Little Hawks Nest, came into town for the Seahawks game and watched at Dannys, what an amazing place to be! 99.9 percent of patrons were Seahawks fans and such a great environment. Locals had fun with the visitors and the staff was even friendlier. Highly recommended :)
Great sports bar. North Carolina fans - this is your spot!
Perfect for watch soccer and drink à beer, no food
Quite a performance that I got a glass of ice water, absolutely amazing
Good Beer good service
Went here for the sole reason of watching a Manchester United game. They opened at 7am on a Sunday, bar was full. Service was fine.
Fun and friendly staff, welcoming local, any sport you could possibly want!
A down to earth sports bar that showcases the big fights.
Nice enough, great for watching football. I was just there on a slow day.
Nice neighborhood bar with an international flavor.
This is a Chargers bar, which is great for an SD ex-pat.
Sweet spot for the early kickoff...
Best crowd in the Lower Haight. What a bunch of crazies! Never a boring night down there.
Great trivia night, lots of tvs, but no drink specials or food. Fun neighborhood spot but not really a destination.
Large servings, dont overorder!
- Nice bar with a small area for standup- Trivia every wednesday- Got this cool fire ball dispenser- Ok area
Its good for getting a Guinness and watching a game but not much else.
Fun outpost in the Haight for the Brainstormer trivia empire! We showed up at 7:15 for the 8 pm trivia night on Wednesday and were able to score a little side table for four.Standard Irish pub beers ($5) like Smithwicks and Guinness. And since they serve no food (they do sell some chips), patrons know to bring in Rosamunde sausages and pizza from down the street.
Great local bar, friendly staff
Good bar with sports. Nice folks.
Pretty good trivia. No food but you can bring your own in.
Savage spot. Brian is class
Wednesday is trivia night, great bar staff. Drinks not cheap, you can also bring outside food in.
Didnt stay long. Has a decent outdoor seating area and food was good
It says it is Seahawks friendly. Um no.....they wouldnt even wait on us. So rude. All we wanted was a beer. This place stunk, and was not impressive.
Great for Saturday morning Premier league games!
Good selection of drinks and beer but the crowd was a little sketch for 5pm, with several drunks at the bar already
Best locals bar in SF. Hands down. Gets rowdy sometimes.
Classic in haight fit sports and nice menu of beers
A divey Seahawks and Chargers bar. Theyve got snacks, but its BYOFood.
Great place to watch the world cup
Sports bar catering to obnoxious sports bros. Lots of altercations outside.
Came for trivia, the second I walked in I realized I had been here many times before. But always much drunker.
