Great venue with good (live!) salsa music. Also have a taco truck at end of night (heard its pretty decent but havent had it yet).
Would definitely come back to dance here. Plenty of room to dance and the instructors are really talented! There is no re-entry however which wasnt clearly explained to us. Keep that in mind if you go!
Excellent place to dance, and very professional for the salsa and bachata events. I would definitely recommend it.
Non-hostile environment to dance & have fun, even if you came solo. The guys are usually gentlemen and just want to dance.
This place is incredible. Very fun and unassuming atmosphere, for couples or singles. Get there early for the dance lessons and stay for the discoteca!
The live band on Friday nights was awesome! It definitely livens the place up and makes for a fun atmosphere. The instruction earlier in the evening but not the best Ive been to. There was a lot of talking and less showing and time for practicing. But all in a all a great place to spend a night dancing.
Friday/saturdays its a Great community of Latin dancers, huge dance floor, a little out of the way but that keeps the place clean of normal club partiers
This is difficult to rate. As an experienced dancer I got a bit bored with the very long dance lesson. But I can just go later and skip it. So Ill give them 5 because the way they do the lesson creates familiarity among everyone who participated. They show the steps several times then they have everyone pair up as lead and follow and dance what they learned. Heres the great part, after every few minutes the follow, If i remember which, rotates to the next partner. So by the time the free dance starts everyone has beenn dancing with everyone else so its not all uptight. I highly recommend to anyone who is shy or hates the awkward part of going out to dance. Im neither but I still had fun.
Love this place to dance live salsa, bachata and zouk!
One of the best dance floors remaining in the bay. Tends to get pretty packed with a large number of people who dont understand dance etiquette tho. Be watchful and protect your partner from people who will crowd your lane
Great place to go on a Friday night. Salsa with live band. Friendly staff and great drinks.
Great place to dance salsa with people who know what theyre doing but arent intimidating!
Great place to dance to latin music. With three rooms, you get a good amount of leaders and followers to dance with.
Fun and judgement-free space to learn different types of dance on Friday evenings!
Huge dance floor and usually a live band. Free beginning bachata and salsa lessons beforehand.
This is a great place to learn to dance Salsa Bachata or Zouk.Recently they started to sell tickets on Groupan and the place become over crowded and hard to move.
The perfect place to meet people. The best place to practice salsa dance
It’s honestly one of the best places for Salsa dancing in SF. It’s huge and always have an amazing live band every Friday & Saturday. They charge $3 for water but it’s worth it
They teach Bachata and Salsa followed by several hours of social dancing. Sometimes the ZoukSF group also has classes for Zouk or Kizomba. Buy tickets online couple of hours in advance to save $5. Price at door is $20. They also have groupons for even more savings. I have been there once the salsa / bachata dance instructor is reallt good.
Came here for salsa night on Friday and had a fantastic time. We drove and parked close to the entrance at 8:15. They had bachata lessons starting at 8 and salsa lessons at 9 before the full dancing started at 10. The classes were informative and I felt that most people got the general idea of what was taught. It was a very friendly crowd during the classes. Once the dancing starts at 10 there are 3 rooms: Salsa in the large main room with a live band, bachata in a small downstairs room and zouk in a small upstairs room. Compared to some other slasa clubs this one was very laid back with a very diverse crowd. I enjoyed dancing at my beginner/intermediate level and did not think anyone to be pretentious. Ill be back for many Fridays to come!
Can get overcrowded on salsa dance floor. Fun for dancing.
Friday night salsa and bachata dance lessons from beginners!
By far the best place in town to dance salsa on Friday nights
