Upscale hipster but comfy. Everything depends on the DJ talent although they sometimes have live music.

Very poor experience. Waited in line for an hour only to find out that they were at capacity unless paying for VIP tickets. Friends who were inside noted that the club was not very full and, in fact, still pretty empty at this point.

Had a great time with my friends the other weekend. The line can be long at times but it’s worth it. If it’s a place you’ll frequent, I suggest getting to know the promoters so they can get you in a timely fashion.One of the promoters (Johnson) took care of our bottle service needs and made sure our table was taken care of. Real classy stuff.

I would rate 0 if I could. We waited in line for 2 hours only to be told at the entrance that they are out of capacity. They continued to let others in the VIP line in which costs 60. They were clearly not out of capacity. We had friends inside sending us photos of the club looking pretty empty. Also as theyre telling us, ppl consistently are leaving the club. These people are trying to lose business. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME IN LINE. There are better clubs in SF.[Update] We were there around 10:30pm. It was early enough where we shouldve been told about GA tickets if thats really a thing. Bouncers didnt tell us anything. There was ZERO information about GA tickets. Once we got to the front of the line, a bouncer told us about VIP tickets and that we couldnt go in. Groups before us were allowed in without any so called GA tickets.

Went with a group of friends and had a lot of fun. There was no cover all night, which is rare for a lot of clubs in SF, but if you want the best experience get bottle service. We went through our promoter, Johnson Ho, who took good care of us and made sure we had a great time.

Place is so much nicer in comparison as to what it was before! The vibe feels nice and when I went for soft opening the line was long (about 200-400 people) but the line moved pretty fast. Music is great, shots are fat, and the lighting is nice. Definitely the new hot hip-hop spot of SF!

I have a valid over 21 drivers license and was rejected because their machine could not scan my license properly. Bouncer didn’t even take care in swiping it carefully, and he then refused to look at the date of birth.

The club was super fun! We went yesterday night. The line was really long (~30/40 minutes) but there was no cover charge which was great. Mostly the downside is that I lost my phone at the club, and since theres no working number for this place on google or yelp, and they dont open until hella late I havent actually been able to contact anyone about it. Had a good time - just wish all the info online was up to date and accessible!

Go to Temple.Arena is for poor Asians who dont know that disrespectful security guards should not exist. The dance floor is empty and on Saturday. The line is long but the dancefloor is empty.Do not come here if you have another choice, Arean is a waste of time.(Sausage fest- only men inside.)

The owner should be ashamed of himself.I waited 40 minutes at the front of the line and never got in. I was told by the staff it would be another hour and a half at the FRONT of the line.Why? Because the free line is only “free” if the paid line is empty. But the free line is so big that it pushes both new people and people on the free line over to the paid line, which becomes a neverending cycle.I tried raising these issues to security, promoters, and even the owner and I was ridiculed, insulted, and told off.What a joke.

I had pretty low expectations for Arena SF, as I heard from multiple people that it was dirty and grimey. But above all, it was Ratchet. It always seemed like the line was really long and difficult to enter, especially the way they promote it. But we came around 10:30pm and waited maybe 10/15 min and got in with no problems.We got a few drinks. The bar only had 2 workers, but they were actually pretty fast with serving everyone. Drinks were about $15, but small. While pricing is pretty standard, the drinks were super small for the price.Inside was crowded, but not uncomfortably. It seemed there was always space in the back. It is pretty narrow inside with tables along the wall and an intimate dance floor. However, it was sooo hot inside. While clubs do get hot, it seemed like there were no fans or AC in here at all. Also unfortunately there are only two bathroom stalls for the women. The line was always long.But the most important thing to my group was how good the music was. We hate the Top 40 remixes that most clubs do play. Arena definitely delivered with their songs and ratchet playlists. They were fun to dance to! I would recommend Arena and would come back with my friends.Note: We went when it was audiotistic weekend, so it might’ve been less crowded than normal due to that.

Businesses like this aren’t welcome. SF bars and clubs are about having a good time regardless of your gender, background, and status.

Waited in line since 8:45 to get a stupid ticket got the ticket the club opens at 10 and they never let us in until who knows what time my friends and I ended up leaving and headed to the bars near by. Why have tickets if your not going to let people in on time they are money hungry and let all the people that paid “VIP” go in first when the web site says no coverage fee....

Absolute garbage club, it was completely dead inside and the were trying to enforce a 3:1 girl to guy entry ratio, it’s like LET ME SPEND MONEY! 0/10 would not go again.

I’d post a 0 out of 5 if I could, this place was beyond disappointing. They had an event where they pre-sold tickets, yet when the time came, the People who bought tickets couldn’t even get in. I waited 3 hours in line only for the rude security guards to shove someone into face and tell me to back tf up. This place is unprofessional and provides extremely unsatisfactory service. It’s a joke and I probably won’t even get a refund

They dont have cover which is rare for a night club! DJ and music is on point
