Great take out cocktail service!
I should confess a bias in that I used to work there but it (Long Now/Interval) has a unique collection of artifacts that take a long view of both history and the future. Worth a visit. Unique drinks at the Interval as well.
This is my kind of bar! the atmosphere is lovely, cocktails delightful, ceiling of reserve bottles oh so clever. And you can learn a thing or two!
Not much seating, but one youre settled it looks to be very cosy, and the variety of drinks seems great. The service was so slow; we were second in line and waited about 3 or 4 minutes without any acknowledgement or eye contact from the guy behind the bar whilst the couple in front were chatting about their choices, so we just gave up and went elsewhere on the complex.
I liked the vibe of the bar so many cool artefacts and very helpful bartender. Not so easy to find though. Hope I can come back and hang out.
This is one of the most fun places weve been to in a while. A real surprise to stumble upon even though its been here 3 years already. Very comfortable, hip, and interesting environment. Super Creative drinks, and really good coffee and expresso. From friends to family, everybody would like this place, except for maybe those with young children.
One of my top 5 orgs in the world.
If you can get past the techno-utopian hyperbole this place is eternally cool and timelessly tasteful.
Thinking beyond the current year/decade is a privilege, but this is about as good a use of that privileged position as its possible to have. Plus the best HQ with the Interval.
Lovely out of the way bar with a lot to explore. Come for the drinks and page though the book of long term bets made by the likes of Jeff Bezos, Stewart Brand, and more.
Great vibe and really nice tea!
Awesome place -- particularly the Tuesday night talks that feature CASBS fellows!
Interesting, hidden, an enormously rewarding experience. Neil Gaiman and other donations makers have private bottles of whiskey and Puer hanging overhead.
This place is almost always empty great place to grab a coffee
Its a dilemma how to live in the moment AND live in the long now on the back of the great white crocodile -- but never mind, youll enjoy the 1000 year clock and other exhibits at Fort Mason. The Long Now seminars have have decamped to the Jazz Center while the Cowell Theater and its pier get refurbished, so youll no longer get to discuss the seminar over a glass of wine here.
A fascinating place. Museum + library + coffee + drinks.
Awesome drinks
I just like this place.
Whiskey infused Ambience with Brian Eno.
