A small free museum accessed from inside the bakery restaurant. A short history of the bakery and some San Francisco highlights. You can view the bakers working from the elevated museum level. Learn how the mother dough was saved in the big fire. Worth the 45 minutes visit if you are already in the area. Or you can whiz through it in 5 minutes.

A must visit at Fishermans Wharf. Bring your appetite for clam chowder and sourdough bread
