Ive come to this movie house multiple times since its basically across the street from me. I love bringing my friends here to watch new movies. In my experience, the bathrooms are always nice and clean, the staff is always friendly, the prices for the movies are reasonable but if you do not want to spend a lot of money on the food and drinks, my suggestion is to eat before the movie. Highly recommended!
Like this location for convenience, however, I wish the lobby would be redecorated with lighter, more vibrant, positive colors. It is dark and drab but should be given the architectural respect it deserves. Also, the theatre seats are for very petite people and there are steep stairs leading to the seats that are not senior friendly.
Nice local theater. Not a national chain. Easy to walk to in a neighborhood setting with many restaurants nearby.
We came here for a recorded concert viewing for Rausch & Craziness, and this theatre was amazing! The manager and staff were super pleasant, and the acoustics of the place were excellent as well. Fantastic spot.
Good movie theater, we went and seen once upon a time in Hollywood.
Great screen entertainment and sound, a family favorite!
Really great clean local theater
A classic theater split into two separate rooms. While there was a bit of rumbling sound bleed through from the room next door (playing Aquaman), it was not intrusive. The seating in theater two is nicely set back and the legroom is pretty great; there really arent any nose-pressed-to-the-screen seats here.
I love seeing movies at the two small theaters (Presidio and Marina) on Chestnut Street. Cute, cozy, and fun. Nice to support smaller businesses too! Grab a drink at Campus on a Tuesday after the movie as Jess is my favorite bartender!
Tiny and cozy theatre, so please dont expect multiplex service or options in terms of snacks. Snacks are the usual, some candy, pop corn, ice cream, etc. More than enough for a movie night. In a really nice locality so no worries about leaving after a late night movie.
Friendly staff, good prices, and they have ice cream! The theaters themselves are a bit dated, but its fine. They keep things reasonably clean.
Theatre is clean and well kept. Comfy seats.Popcorn could be better.Actual popcorn bag sizes dont match display samples.
Loved this place, a great old fashioned theater
Theater was cold. They do have beer but no wine. Stale nachos, no Twix, Kit Kat or Dove but they have vegan cookies.
Old seats but nice, small theaters
Very good.
Fun local theater
Great sound and clean
Always a good time. Plus the food cost is pretty competitive
Too expensive, very warm for an evening show. Theater and bathrooms are clean, but not well maintained (no soap).Turned on lights b4 in-credit scenes played in Marvel movie.
Great neighborhood theater. Not as expensive as the big theaters. Limited selections.
Nice little cinema with a good location in the Marina area. Their theater 1 is a decent sized room. The seats and general infrastructure are not super modern, but it does the job.
I like this theater a lot. One of my favorites in SF. Not quite as fancy as some, but still nice and not too pricy!
Nice for an evening, lacks charm
They have two theaters, the larger theater one is a fine place to see a movie.
Great neighborhood theatre in the marina district. Ask for multi pass tickets. Discount for 6 tickets pass.
Clean, cozy, close by. AND they accept Movie Pass.
30 bucks for a small theater experience. A dead pixel in the middle of the screen in theater 1. But atleast the popcorns reasonably priced
Great theatre with fantastic screens, decent seats, and solid sound systems. Great neighborhood spot that I will continue to support.
The most uncomfortable seats ever. You have space at all, it feels like the seats are for 3 years old kids.
Got two scoops of ice cream and the counter clerk made them as small as possible, cause the second scoop looked normal but he cut it in half. 6 dollars for two kiddie scoops. Will not be returning.
Good location. Simple cinema
So close from home. Very cozy cinema
Conveniently located on Chestnut street in the heart of the marina, it has two theaters showing the latest movies. I ventured here on friday to catch The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1. As I was coordinating plans with my friends, it dawned on me that I had never seen the second one(Catching Fire). I only had a couple hours to spare. So much like Katniss in District 13, I scrambled to my underground bunker(aka the internet) to stream it online. Luckily I was able to find it and watch most of it before the show time. Sorry got a little off track. Tickets were $12 and I spent another $8.75 on a medium drink and popcorn. All-in-all a relatively inexpensive night in the marina that included dinner and entertainment. I dropped a couple stars because I had to run up to bathroom, then run back down to buy my food/drink, then run back into the theater only to find out the exit door faces the audience which made it awkward trying to find a seat while they judged my concession stand order.
The Theatre was very spacious and had lots of movies that were good and the service was very good
Even though they only have two screens the seats are way more comfortable than Presidio Theater!! Dont forget to grab cash at Wells or BofA because they dont take cards!!
Small and cozy neighborhood theatre.
Just 2 showrooms but adequate for its location
Small cinema with good seats and good screen.
Needs a renewal, old furnitures, hard to park nearby location. Overall you can still watch a movie decently but not comfy exp
Friendly staff and cool place
Great old San Francisco theater
Very dirty, poor management. Needs renovation. Watch Netflix.
My favorite theater!
Food service needs some work don’t know if the guys were racist but they need to be more professional when dealing with people, customer service is everything nowadays
Please fix the 2 dead pixels!
Very Nice Family Theater!!!
Nice local theatre.
Tiny screens
Sort of retro scene, seating can be limited, but they serve ice cream.
