Very strange room in something you might want to bring out-of-town folks to visit. Its definitely off the beaten Trail. Its essentially one room with a large mural. The views of the City from here are amazing. And I definitely dont mean Oakland because who cares. Overall I would say a very unique Place perhaps not first on your list but maybe an interesting spot to bring people for a different kind of San Francisco experience.
Cool place. no treasure
Under construction all the time, crazy prices for parking, instead of relaxing day, I came home frustrated.
Like everything else on this island it seema pretty forgotten and neglected, but at least the mural is cool.
I drove 4 hours to see museum. I looked at web page and was anticipating it. Got there and it was closed for a renovation and foundation repair...possibly closed for a long time? I guess no one bothered to update web page.
Great place and good info about a lost treasure. Sad to see that is all gone. Hope we can preserve building 1.
It looks really nice. Theyre not finished constructing some public places around the museum though, but a great place to visit.
Not really much of a museum. Theres a few placards detailing history and a room with an exhibit about a mutiny trial. The inside has no one walking around or greeting guests and the building looks abandoned.
Looks like an abandon place not too popular of a place to come to.But overall it was an interesting trip.
Its. Only residents, but there just starting to working on the island to be like a tourist place...one thing for sure, there is a wonderful viewSan Fransico.
Super fun, pretty empty on a Monday. Currently under construction 3/11/19.
I went there for a memorium to the African Americans who were falsely accused of crimes in the Army and Navy during WW2 and it looked good. (the building and place around)
NOT good only had one display accessible
Very small museum, hope they will be able to grow.
A museum that isn’t open on the weekends is not trying very hard to please the public. I am very disappointed in the progress that has been made in turning TI over to the public.
Even though there is a lot of construction on the island right now, visiting the remaining buildings from the 1939 Worlds Fair, allow you to get a glimpse of history
Ok place for a good view of the oak bridge and city
Was there for training. Nice place.
Great place to spend time
I love it
Its part of history
Needs renovations...
Must to see.
Cool spot
