Kids playing baseball while picnicking on Thanksgiving. Super great stuff.
Golden Gate Park is a beautiful, massive park that spans across the entirety of San Francisco, California. Golden Gate Park has everything from basketball courts to baseball fields to squash courts. Whether youre looking to walk your dog, go for a run, play some tennis, meet up with friends or just chill at the park, Golden Gate Park has something for you. Big Rec Field is no exception.
Great for kids adults and pets just a great place to watch Baseball and relaxed.
The area is clean and well kept. People of all ages always seem to be having a good time. It is very spacious and can accommodate a variety of activities for individuals and groups.
Watched an inning of a field of adults playing a game of baseball in 2019. Thats pretty cool to me.
Very happy to see young kids perform so well in soccer
Great area in Golden Gate park for family picnics or baseball games. Bring the kids dogs grandma. Walking distance to many GG offerings. Close to duck pond and Community garden center events.
Play soccer here Saturdays at 11:30am. Usually get a good group of people.
Fields are nice. But Grand stamps are horrible. Benches broken and cracked and coming apart. Not to mention theyre always drowning their fields with too much water.
Dont try to read anybody here a book. They cant even read the obvious no dogs sign, how would you expect to them to read a literal art form.
Very relaxing good with the family
Great big area for sports and stuff
These are NOT Racquetball Courts. They are HandBall courts exclusively. There are signs up that say NO Racquetball, not to mention they arent the proper courts for it anyway.Though in regards to Handball they certainly are in pretty good, playable, condition.
Great field for Ultimate Frisbee every saturday afternoon :)
When there is a game on it is fun to watch the teams do baseball.
This building composes of both two handball courts on the south side and two racquetball courts on the north side. The racquetball courts are in ok-condition. A bit dirty in the corners, and some spiderwebs are on the walls as well. However, its a free court and it doesnt seem to be very busy (we were the only ones playing there on a sunny holiday weekend). The racquetball court itself is not fully enclosed. The back well has an opening in the top, so occasionally the ball will fly out of the room and you have to go find the ball in the bush behind the building. Bring a few balls with you just in case.
It is as big as a small city
TThe29.ers won
Name is right on the money.
Not busy...
Dusty courts but if you want to play without having to pay a local club its a good option.
