After reading the reviews, I was hesitant about staying here because of all the long term residents and the price of $73 for a prime fishing space. I must say, I was was pleasantly surprised. It started with the check-in host at the front gate, he was pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable. Everything you need is within driving distance (if you have GPS). The residents whom I met were extremely nice and friendly. Every part of the campground we saw was extremely clean and well kept. The power did not surge as one reviewer claimed and after 10pm, it was quiet. I was in space #15 and it was difficult backing in my trailer because of the long term residents vehicles parked in front of their trailer. After considerable effort to back in, my stay was great. Would I return, of course; but this time I wont pick spc 15 and I will stay for at least two nights. I wish they had a rule, for residents and visitors who have pets, to carry bags to pick-up the poop so others dont step in it at night. Would have rated it a 5-star but the price to walk up & down the hill to fish wasnt worth $73. $68, yes sir buddy.
Big sites, paved roadways, huge lawn areas, hill top sites have great view of lake. Theres walking & bike paths, great Mt bike trails & equestrian center. A swim beach at lake & boating & fishing. Raging Waters on west side of lake open in summer except this summer.
Very nice park. Very clean and well maintained. Staff does not interfere with family fun (in the guise of covid).
This was our first stay here. We were a bit hesitant because of several negative reviews, but a family member recommended it to us. We were greeted as we pulled in, the guy was very courteous and friendly. He gave us great directions to our site. The place is maintained very well. We had no issues with the permanent residents and in fact always received waves and greetings as we walked by. Clean restrooms and showers. The store is pretty well equipped with necessities and with fun stuff. The staff was helpful and very nice. Lots of grass to take your pets out for a walk. If internet was available, it would be perfect. We felt comfortable and relaxed during our four night stay. We will be back the next time we visit Southern California.
We were very satisfied with the way Bonelli Bluffs is handling the covid guidelines..We were a little confused about how to enter the store when the office closed..But we made be with the situation..Grounds maintenance personnel are as nice and helpful as they were when it was East Shore..The park is clean and beautiful. We had a power outage but again we found a different way to make that cup of joe .
We had the best time here! We stayed two nights in section A and are already planning our second trip back! The staff was friendly (there is a reason everyone is commenting on that). They all took time to say Hi, answer our questions or just to check in as they drive around. We walked around the market and of course the kids picked up souvenirs. It was so quiet and peaceful where we camped. And so beautiful. Pictures do not do the resort justice. There is also alot to do at the adjacent park. We did lose power in the morning of our second day, but honestly, due to the weather, we didnt even know until someone told us. It was back on when we came back to the trailer for lunch. I would highly recommend this park to anyone who is reading this. Even with some of the amenities closed due to Covid, we had a great time!! And yes, Covid protocols in place and promoted.
Very nice place with super friendly and helpful staff. Sites are paved and generally very roomy with much grass. Some sites have great views, others feel more secluded. There are only a few pull through sites. Most are back in sites. There are quite a few full timers throughout the park, whose rigs are mostly well maintained. The A,B, and C areas are on top of the bluffs and are a bit nicer than the D, E, and F areas that are in a low area near a non-swimmable inlet of the lake. The pools were off limits due to COVID, which is not their fault. It was very hot when we were there. This resulted in a lot of power use for AC by all guests, which caused extremely low voltage issues to their power grid. Luckily, our RV system compensated fairly well, even though it showed Brownout on both 50 amp legs. The Park is completely fenced- in for security reasons, which makes it impossible to reach the lake or the surrounding LA County hiking, and biking trails without leaving the RV Park.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS CAMPING RESORT!! WE HAVE BEEN TO SO MANY DIFFERENT RV PARKS WHILE TRAVELING AND BY FAR THIS IS THE BEST PLACE WE HAVE EVER STAYED AT. THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY, COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL. THE GROUNDS ARE VERY WELL KEPT AND CLEAN. IF I COULD GIVE BONELLI BLUFFS A 10 STAR RATING I WOULD... CANT WAIT TO VISIT AGAIN NEXT TRIP....AND THEY ALWAYS HAVE A SPACE, EVEN WITH NO RESERVATION...
Camp sites, rv sites distributed throughout the park. Small grocery and gift store on premise. Gated entrance is monitored and manned. Multi use, many areas cordoned off due to Covid. Nearby lake, hiking trails, bluffs, golf course, KOA campground and regional airport. Busy location, easy access, please take care of special areas marked and designated for no humans or pets. Caring staff. Park has problems with power outages due to older, faulty wiring. Add surge protectors to everything if you plan to hook up to their power. Lots of weekend rv ers and campers there to party loud. Owner, do you plan to improve electric service soon?
I had to cancel my stay that was 3 days after a Holiday and just sneaked by and got 100% of my stay refunded. Make sure you notice that if your reservation is near and/or through a Holiday Period, that you are certain your plans wont change, otherwise a 10% penalty will be assessed.
Nice camping spaces lots of grass. The only thing that was a disappointment was the price per night. Up in the 70 dollar range. We have a 40 Motorhome and tow our Jeep. I also found it strange that they dont have you put anything in your Jeep for coming and going through the gate. This was our second time staying here. The first time was during a holiday weekend and it was a little noisy later at night. But thats to be expected during holidays when people are driving and camping.
I’ve been camping 30 years. Great view of the lake. Well maintained grounds. But it is crowded, can be noisy, and there is loud music in some areas. The guests are suppose to social distance and wear masks, but few did. The people next to me played a loud outside movie way past the quiet hour of 10pm. The lady at the gate said she would send someone to quiet them down and it never happened. The next morning I spoke with the reception staff and they handled it immediately and were willing to let me find another open spot. The experience here will depend on whether you have noisy neighbors or not. I camp to relax, others camp to party. Nice place to try at least once to see if it works for you.
Love this place. Views. Green grass. Well stocked store. Quiet
Ive always appreciated the partnership this place brought to the community and surrounding area. I always made it a point to pick up any trash I saw. Recently theres been a complete shut down. The lack of communication is frustrating. Hopefully they change their approach. I always recommended friends to stay here.Edit- thank you very much for coming up with a very reasonable solution.
Impossible to get in contact with anyone or even check out this park. We tried calling and emailing this park several times with NO response back. Finally we drove well over an hour to come talk to them in person to see if they had any long term availability for RV parking (about 13 weeks) We were greeted at the front by a friendly security man who informed us that if we did not have a reservation we could not come in. We asked how we can when we can’t get ahold of anyone that works at the park? He informed us that they had kind of been closed before due to covid but they were open now. We asked if we could go to the office to speak with someone and we’re told no one is allowed to walk into the office without a reservation. He gave us a number to call which we told him we had already tried multiple times... at this point it was clear there was nothing else he could do thanks to their policies. We pulled up about ten feet and pulled off to the side of the road and immediately tried to call the office. After 3 minutes of waiting in the phone the security guy came over and told us we had to get off the property now and to make the call off their property. We listened and drove away as this situation got weirder and weirder. We could not get through so instead we hit the option to change a reservation and someone finally picked up the phone. We were immediately put on hold for at least 5–10 minutes at which point the woman answered the phone only to put us back on hold a few seconds later. We finally gave up and drove away. It looks like a nice park but this is EASILY the worst experience we’ve ever had trying to book a spot or inquire some information. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
Gate person wasnt super helpful but the park is easy to navigate, lots of room on our site and great views. Beautiful park.
Over rated. I felt like we were in a trailer park. Live ins everywhere. 50 amp is barely 30 amp. We have 3 AC units and only two would run due to lack of power. Over priced and do not recommend. It is beautiful though.
We have been coming here for years! Rates went up the store shrank in size and the pool is closed...Just normal 2020 COVID-19 BS! Other than that the park is clean, staff is friendly and its a nice little get away. OPEN THE POOL!
My family and a group of friends from out of town came to visit but were very sad of the experience this time. The new ownership has taken away access to Wifi and all the bathrooms were closed. Plus we had no water pressure for the hook ups one day and the electrical power went out for half a day. Besides all of that we had no access to the lake and trails that we always enjoy. We were very disappointed and left early especially when no one was friendly enough to let people know why all the problems were happening or apologizing for the misfortunes. On top of all that happened the cost went up about $18.00 a night more.Very unhappy.
Clean, friendly and helpful staff, enjoyed our stay will definitely come back
Nice but a bit crammed together in certain spots.
Fathers Day weekend 2020. One thing you should know is 1/2 the park is taken by full time residents with elaborate staircases to their trailers, sheds and Easy-up enclosed patios. My wife booked a spot Friday through Sunday with the plan of inviting two families to join us on Saturday afternoon for a couple hours to celebrate. Their website said one guest car per camp site, and their phone recording said guest of campers can visit from 7am to 9pm. Upon arrival, we checked in with a girl in her thirties, bleached hair with black roots. (Did not get a name) She was not friendly and very matter of fact.My wife asked how to put our guests on the list to get past the security shack. The receptionist said No guests allowed. I offered to purchase a second site, but without looking she said, We are all sold out My wife told her that was not consistent with her website and phone recording. This seemed to upset her. Due to her temperament, we sought out a friendly kid in the market as asked to speak with the manager regarding this issue. The blonde receptionist walked in and said something to the manager who came out to talk to use. Mike (I think was his name) said we could have two adult guests and kids were not counted. He was very matter of fact and not very friendly. We paid the extra money to have a golf cart at our camping site. Being the first time at this camp site we drove around to check out the area. When returning to our site, Mike stopped by to say he had received multiple calls/complaints I was exceeding the 5 MPH golf cart speed limit and I had driven the wrong direction on a one way road. Really 5 MPH??? I apologized and told him we would be more careful.Mike also arrived in a golf cart to speak with us, he definitely was exceeding the 5 MPH speed limit when he approached our site. My cart is 36V and maxs out at 25 MPH on level surfaces. There are speed bumps every 100 in the park and I came to a near full stop for each one. Numerous carts were driving much faster than mine and drivers were openly drinking alcohol while driving right next to Mike near the office. Clearly we had upset their staff and were under the scope. This park is private property and they have the right to arbitrarily make up and enforce any rules they seem fit. Instead of dealing with their shenanigans, we quietly and respectfully packed up our toy hauler, a few hours after arriving, and left their park. Needless to say I wont be back.
Loved it, clean nd safe to be around, easy to park your RV or trailer plenty of space..
Great place with, lake and trails. Clean and well managed
Great RV Resort. Well kept and clean. Nice lake views.
Great place to stay if you’re visiting LA. It’s far enough out but not too far. Very large campground. I know now why the site we picked was $10 cheaper. It was in the more permanent section and those campers have been let go a bit. All the laundry facilities were shut down for renovations which was a let down.
Clean park, lots of grassy areas for the kids to play. Close to Pudding Stone Lake
The campsite we were in was very spacious....the sites were not on top of one another..
Very nice RV park with lots of elbow room between level, paved sites with nice grass everywhere. Many big trees, lots of group picnic tables, decent bathrooms/showers. Overall a well managed park with great amenities for families or seniors. Will appeal to those staying a single night or a few weeks. Reasonably convenient to LA, but especially Pasadena. Have stayed here 3 times and will probably stay many more.
Great sites. Eonderful space. Helpful people. Clean and very cared for.
This is our 3rd time here and last. And 2nd time during hot weather but thought to give it another try. Our electric power surge protector keeps shutting our electricity off for up to 5 minutes because they have constant power surges. Can’t keep trailer cool, can’t watch a movie. For the cost not worth the aggravation. When I talked to office maintenance didn’t have electrician available.
We absolutely loved this place! Big wide spaces with lots of grass and trees. Nice Clubhouse and meandering roads. There were a lot of long-term residents but they have new management and are starting to phase them out. We loved the view from the bluff and the county park was just down the road. We stayed 17 days and loved every minute of it. We will definitely come back and stay again.
Rude, rude, rude and rude. Did they mention they were rude? We just came from a stay at Valencia Travel Village where we had nothing but good times. This place is like camping at the DMV with grass. I wouldnt come back here if it were free. Thank god my job in Upland is almost over so we can hit the road and get out of here. By the way, no noises after 9:00pm so make sure you bring your Geritol. I gave it 2 stars because it has grass. Yay! BFD. Were out......
Im very pleased with management, they addressed my concerns right away and we resolved them . I definitely reccomend this place to visit and or stay. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Ive been here over 5 years and couldnt be happier.
Nice camping grounds. Relaxing park
The new owners have really cleaned up this place... some spaces have beautiful views..it is nice clean and the service is great...we love comming here and will do so in the future
Bunch of meth lab looking full timers, extremely out dated power posts, kept cutting power to our rig. Stuff were rude.
Its so beautiful! Im the only one with music..lol
This year too crowded, too expensive needs maintenence, the road, Trees, bug fumigation too. I got site B 194 too small bad located close to the garbage disposal (dosent show in the map)we couldnt open the shade because it could be hit by trailers passing by, horrible site location!!
I havent been to this RV park yet as I am calling around for direct information and answers to my questions. In doing so most RV resorts and sites dont have any answers, dont seem to have time for me and have a youll see it when you get here attitude whilst not being able to get a credit card number out of me fast enough. Then I get the awesome experience of speaking with Shane on the phone here at Bonelli (hope I spelled that right).Shane was able to tell me the walking distances from each camping area to the lake as I am partially disabled, what area would best suit me and my personal wants and needs and what specific species of fish are in the lake and when it was stocked as well as information about fishing permits and other answers to my specific requirements as a perspective visitor. He was kind, has great candor and took his time with me.Which is why I cant truly understand some of the reviews unless I add booze and drugs and BS to the mess, like I see elsewhere at other places, like Cali Lake for example, managed by the devils rejects themselves.I look forward to stopping here as Im passing through, if the rest of the staff are even half as pleasant, professional, informative and great as Shane Im sure this place is going to be awesome. And thank you Shane, Im retired from regional management, and I hope that when yours get to this review their taking notes, hit a couple of college classes in the business if you havent already and you just might wind up owning the place.Very Sincerely,DP.
Beautiful park. Nice facility. Great location.Poor cellular service. We stayed for a week (July 4 fell on the Thursday). No policing (I mean absolutely none).Loud, abnoxious atmosphere at night.Revving engines late on 2 separate night (trying to blow it up, bud?).Blasting music from multiple sites all evening, every evening.Projecting movies onto back of trailer, which is perfectly ok, but blasting the sound is annoying !ATV things ripping through the park (day and night).People rope off whatever areas they want.Someone was blasting bright lights !!!All evening !!Every evening !!I get it, it was the 4th, but wow.No relaxing during our stay.Dog poop everywhere (we were in F, along the water).Full timers have some really trashy yards, and seem to set the tone.VERY trailer park feel verses an RV park feel.Real life Trailer Park Boys minus the guns (at least during our stay)...I dont tattle to management, not my job (theyre either okay, or not watching - their perogative).I booked based on Google reviews, but was surprised. We did have 2 quiet nights (2nd and 3rd), because the park wasnt busy.We packed up and left a day early. One star for the facility. One for the experience.
Nice park, but a lot of permanent residents here. Pretty much everyone is ignoring wearing a mask for coronavirus.
Had a great time with the family
I have been coming to this campground at least 5-6 times a year for over 20 years. Its close to home but always a great escape and a quick drive to take the coach out with minimal fuel costs. If you enjoy mountain biking this campground has an excellent trail around it and the lake/park. We usually stay in space 106 or 107 and have a great view of the airport and the mountains. Campsite is always clean and staff is always friendly. We are camping there this weekend in site A-165 and 167.
Great place, everything was well maintained, everyone was very friendly.
OK, its a nice urban camping experience. Some spaces have great views and some are in the dense pack area. The location is good for a shakedown trip but keep your stay short. 75$ a night is too steep. I will never stay here again and never is a long time.
Great place to camp and fish. We rented T100 this is the largest spot, but so worth it. There was a two way plug to charge equipment or cheat and plug in a crockpot. Vanessa was extremely patient with me as I had a million questions. She remained professional yet has a sense of humor. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about the park. We paid 260 for 15 people to stay the weekend. Check out is at 11am. Restrooms were so clean and the shower was amazing. Nice pressure and hot hot hot water. I will return!!!
It is very close to home, the campsites are spaced nicely apart, and the are good opportunities to go walking along the lake shore
Went there and loved it Great Lake too
Nice, relaxing space to unwind and appreciate nature.
We live in Reno NV and decided to come to Southern CA for some warmer weather. A little hard to find places to stay on short notice this time of year but we booked a week here. This place had a shakey reputation for some time since it was full of old dated RVs and the place was a mess. New management came in and they have cleaned it up and are reducing the long term tenants . Nice spaces and lots of common areas with great views of Puddingstone Lake as well as the San Gabriel Mountains. Most of the sites are back in but they do have some pull throughs. The spaces are pretty large and angled so backing in is pretty easy. There are lots of trails to hike or bike on. They have a swimming pool but not too many other activities. Some of the sites are up high with views and others are right by the lake if you want to fish. They do have a small store and LA County Sheriff patrols the park. You are right next to the LA County Fairgrounds and Bracket Airport and can watch small planes take off and land if you like.We plan on coming back.
Masks are being worn, great place to get in a hike, bike ride and get some sun!
The staff was super friendly. The park is gorgeous and the spaces are fairly private for as many as they have in here. My suggestion is to get in early as the place fills up the closer you get to the weekend. I loved it and will definitely come back the next time Im in town.
Great place, staff is very friendly. Views are beautiful, especially overlooking the lake. Planes fly over often as this park is near the small municipal airport. I personally enjoy them.
A beautiful place to visit and expend time with family and friends. Very clean place with grills and seating with shades.
Great place for the family. Peaceful and beautiful views. Pedal Boat and fishing. Lots of fun.
This park is great. Clean, reasonable bathrooms and showers, great view, and quiet. Dont expect wifi at your site. Its only in the office. They told me they were recently bought and are doing lots of future remodeling, including fixing the wifi issue. Laundry was down while I was there. I think its because of said remodeling.
Its very nice here. The sites are a little close together from what I would prefer, but the grounds are really nice ad the staff is pretty friendly. Other reports talk a lot about skunks, but we didnt see any. We saw trash pandas and bunnies, but no stink cats. I would absolutely come back, but Id want a lake view site instead of one on the inside.
Really nice just wish we could have stayed longer
Relaxing and fully equipped hook ups.
Very beautiful place to camp! However new management is rude and there is a serious lack of respect to guests and lack of customer service. Also don’t expect to have all the amenities advertised. The laundry facility advertised was being “remodeled” the whole time we stayed there and we weren’t told about that when we booked so that was a big inconvenience( we were there for two weeks”. The lack of communication between employees in regards to dealing with guests is sad as well. We had spoken with what was supposed to be the manager and then get a call from another employee discrediting everything the “manager” told us. They need to get their stuff together.
Great place. Large spaces, lots of green area, and all paved locations. Only draw back no wifi.
This place was recommended. But we drove through the place and people were living there and it was kinda trashy
Very nice place well kept up I needed help one day and it managers came to help with their friends thanks a lot
This park is beautiful. The staff is amazing! And the clubhouse has all your needs. very spacious spots depending on the section you get. ask about your spot when booking! Lots of skunks tho. So keep the food and garbage and dogs put away at night. Also heavily pollinated area... if you have allergies. Pack your benadryl:) laundry facilities were being remodelled....So that was a bumber... But whatcha gonna do? Not really a big deal... they have a reccomended laundry facility in La verne. Great place.. clean machines. So ask the office for their info
This campground has amazing vistas and is clean and quiet
Overlooking the lake spots with plenty of grass surrounds make this destination nice. They need a hot tub though. We will be returning,
It was absolutely wonderful and the view was Georgeous!
I needed a place to stay for a couple nights for work last minute. I called the camp host as it was after their office was closed at 745pm. I told him I needed a site for a couple nights and wanted to see if any were available and if I could check in tonight by 930pm. Oh no that’s much too late to set up, you would make way too much noise. Call in the morning....Seriously? Is this not an RV resort, do people not check in after hours? He didn’t ask any other questions. If he had he would have learned I’m traveling solo for work in my 22 foot travel trailer that takes all of 10 minutes to unhitch and hook up. I could understand coming in after 11pm or midnight but 930pm? Give me a break. Get in a different line work. Sorry just really disappointed with the service.
Very nice park with great views and nearby activities. Well be back again as its close by.
Clean, spacious, all grass
This place has horrible customer service. I had a reservation and had to cancel due to family emergency. My reservations were for a non-holiday weekend and I’m still waiting for my refund. They say it’s takes about 15 days to get a refund and it’s been almost a month. They took my deposit the day of the reservation But don’t have the integrity to issue a refund when it’s owed. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE. There are so many camping locations around Southern California.
We stayed here for 10 nights in April 2019. At that time it was called East Shore RV Park but now has a new management company and name. We had a fabulous, large site with a spectacular view, site #A108, a Preferred Site. It was back in, level and had FHU, a paved pad, cable, picnic table and a very large grassy area. We had no wifi at our site, our Verizon 4G had 4 bars. Staff was efficient but not overly pleasant. This CG is built on a hill so it has different levels and areas with a variety of site types and sizes. Sites are well placed at 45 degree angles. Laundry room was large and sufficient but could be cleaner. We did not check out the restrooms/showers. We would stay here again if we could get the same or similar
1st spot was not very big. Crammed in between what looked like permanent residents. A section. Moved to another spot second night.
Nice location, good amenities, amazing views. But, the county has banned long-term rv space rental. Over half of the slabs are on long term rates grandfathered from before the new law.
We booked a tent site on the phone for two adults and a dog (this included paying the pet fee) and checked in with no problems. The first odd thing that we encountered was that upon arriving at the tent site, we were faced with a big fat sign saying No Dogs. We were very confused because the person at the desk knew that we had a dog and put us in that site. The website also raves about how dog friendly the place is. We trusted that the person at the desk knew what she was doing and went ahead and set up camp. Then the second odd thing happened. I was sitting on the toilet in the bathroom next to the tent sites when a security guard yelled at me to verify my campsite. I informed him site 3 and he left the bathroom. This made me feel very uncomfortable. The third and major issue. We realized that we did not have the tent and instead built our bed in the car right in front of our paid site. As Park Rangers, we have always done this as back up in parks all over the country and didn’t think a thing about it. The security guard didn’t say a thing when he drove by at 11pm, but woke us up in a deep slumber at 3am with a flash light in our face telling us to get up in our site. We told him that we forgot the tent and he threatened that he was going to have to get the Sheriff or we get out because we were breaking the rules. He also said that we were lucky it wasnt the Sheriff that found us because it would have been a lot worse. We found the tiny print on the rules that said we could not sleep in our car and were frantically trying to pack up, leave and find a safe street to park our car to sleep the little amount that we could. The security guard told us that the Sheriff patrols that area 3 times a night. In the end, after packing up and being threatened with the Sheriff like criminals multiple times, he allowed us to stay and leave in the morning. The entire thing took about 30 minutes. I could not sleep the rest of the night, because I was scared the Sheriff was going to get called and felt uncomfortable that I was breaking a rule. By the way, I saw every car that drove by the rest of the night and did not see a single Sheriff. If sleeping in your car is that big of a deal that you will kick us out or bring the police, you need to post it on your brochure with the other rules, make signs and have the person at the desk warn you during check in. When we checked in, the clerk asked what I would do if it rained. I said sleep in my car and we laughed. That would have been the perfect opportunity to tell us that we can’t sleep in the car under any cost. This experience ruined our entire weekend celebrating my grandmother’s 80th birthday due to not getting a night of sleep. If you are going to take the rule that seriously and not the no dog rules, maybe you should take down the no dogs sign and put up a sign that says no sleeping in your car. You should be able to understand our confusion with rules here.
Amazing view. Quiet, clean park. Dog friendly. Lots of place to walk your dogs. We stayed three nights without any problems. There was somebody parked in our space when we arrived, but this was not due to the staff. It turns out they had another site, but were trying to park across from their friends. They moved as soon as my husband asked around about who owned the pickup and trailer. We would stay again.
Great park large friendly helpful staff. Weekend and holiday need Reservations. Been coming here for 12 years. Best park in the area, close to a lot of attractions.
I’m giving a three star because of the new reservation policy. We’re always happy here and have boom staying for well over 25 years. 4th of July is one of our favorite times with usually 5 spots or so with friends and family. It’s become a tradition. Unfortunately, the new policy requires 100% payment that I guess I could live with even a year in advance, but even that doesn’t allow us to pick spots or camp together. So we’re not booking for next year as we usually do while we’re here. It’s a shame but new owners, new ideas. We’re looking for a new favorite spot.
Great place, very clean
This place is so clean and very peaceful. Brought the family and they enjoyed themselves. Will be coming again.
Love it love it the best. Great view 360 degrees!
Unfortunately, I have to give 1 star due to the attitude of the new management. I have been renting a space here for the last 4 years and now they have the new management they changed the hours of access to the storage areas. They did this without letting the existing renters know about it. So, I came in 7pm trying to get in to my space to store my rig, and I have been told no more 24 hour access. Well, they should have informed us before they pull this, anyway since the security guard was just following orders I decided to wait until the next day to talk to the management. Omg, his attitude was take it or leave it.I was hoping to see some empathy and understand the situation but let alone being apologetic he was kind of well it is us the new management now so deal with it.Just to have it on the record, if they dont change their attitude I will be waiting to see until the day they have 1 star average on google.Good luck Mr. Manager I really wouldnt like to be in your shoes.
A little country gem hidden away in the city. Always enjoy our stay there. The people are friendly and wave at each other. We did have an obnoxious couple move in next to us and take our table, our green space and our sense of peace, but its not the resorts fault. Just bad luck on the 5th day of our week long stay. Until then, it was magical.
The staff is/was alot of help!! They are great all the time!! GREAT place... Try it... You will love it!!!
Got there at 9:30pm 30 minutes after closing but there was still a worker in the booth I was by myself and was willing to pay full price and just sleep in my truck and they turned me away. Sunday night so I know they had plenty of campsites and he tells me to go sleep at Wal-Mart.I guess they must be doing pretty good to turn down $30 for me to pull up sleep and leave by 7am.
Beautiful,, well-kept, friendly campers!
Some of the spots were so close and tight. The campground was full and we felt like everyone was on top of each other. There are not picnic tables at each site. Also, the pool was tiny for how big the park was and how many people were there. WiFi is only available at the store/ front desk.As soon as it became dusk, tons of skunks as well as rats came out.... right up to our camping chairs we were sitting in, on our trailer steps. None of them seemed to spray but the rats were disgusting.
Beautiful area and staff is friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were clean but no private bench and not enough hooks in shower stall. No WiFi at sites. WiFi available in office area or laundry but neither area had an outlet to plug in a laptop.
We want to recognize Valerie and Scott at the registration desk for going above and beyond. While staying at the park last year in 2018, we wanted to make reservations for 2019 for the same site. Valerie explained that all of Campground A and B were booked for the dates we want but took the time to list what sites were available in Campground C. We viewed the available sites and went back to the registration desk. Valerie was busy with another customer, so Scott took our reservation. Great Service by two outstanding and caring employees. Thank You !!!!
