Well appointed recreation facility. Olympic size pool. Hot tub. Swimming diving. Weight room. Rock climbing walls indoors. Large locker rooms . Inexpensive if you have a rec pass. Cushioned lounge chairs around pool large couch tv in lobby friendly staff
This place is dope! I got the occ on the daily for sick sends and to get swo. I never swim but there are plenty of fit folks at the cac so I guess its the place to be for that too.Occ has a moon board, campus board and aproximatly 100 bouldering routes VE-7 with. Few harder outlier routes at the top end. The music is pretty bumpin too. Overall if you want to climb on campus it the place to go unless you are up to free solo Geisel!
Bigg swimming pool and spa is perfect for some exercise and relaxing in the evening after work. Rock climbing facilities worth to mention
Very nice pool and lounging areas. Attended a water polo tournament there and the lounge seating was well appreciated.
Nice area and nice pool. Went for a water polo tournament and they charge $15 a person per day. Seems ridiculous to chaege that much for family to go and show support. I dont have a problem paying but $5 a day seems more reasonable.
That is a fine pool. The Tritons swim here. Showers are clean and it is not very crowded on Sundays.
Great master program. As an out of town visitor, drop in, they make you feel at home. Thanks everyone.
Great place for working out and it is also close to the parking lots.
Facility has two 50m x 25yd pools and one large hot tub. The east pool is reserved for lap swim all day although at times other user groups use the first 6 Lanes. Generally there is space to swim 1-2 people per lane.
One of the nicest pools I have ever been to.
It has great facilities and its free if you are a UCSD student
Small gym and decent bouldering facility very good pools
Great pool, doesnt get too packed and is clean
Definitely not family-friendly. Children have to take a swim test (not mentioned on their website, BTW) for the lifeguards before they can swim by themselves. They have to swim across the pool and back (150 feet) without stopping. Even though our 8 yr old passed the test, the lifeguard on duty refused to let her swim, even in the shallow end, because he didnt like her form and thought she was a drowning risk. The shallow end is only four feet deep, and both me and my wife were watching, not more than ten feet away. Unbelievable. Will never go back.
Two pools. Also has rock climbing
Best swimming pool in So Cal if competitive swimming is your background. I love this pool!
One of best on campus pool in UC San Diego! You can swim with sunshine and enjoy the SPA.
Best pool for lap swim on campus, sports teams use it to practice however.
I have been standing outside the gate for 15 minutes I’ve pressed the buzzer 4 times and nothing
Fine facilities for students, pool gets really busy in summer. Bouldering gym is fun.
Pool is clean and usually not too crowded. You may have to share lanes for lap swimming.
Good large and clean pool to lap swim. You do need to be a student or purchase a rec pass.
I love it because we have fun
Outside pool with a view of Black Mountain. Love it!
Best clinic ever.
Very nice facility.
Only place I have found with a high dive, confusing parking as its at UCSD.
Nice facilities. 4 stars for limited weekend hours
Ok
Nb

Although getting older, two long course pools at the same location cannot be beat
