I bought plates from this shop and when I recieved them I was looking at the to make sure they were ready to be mounted. I contacted the shop because there was orange crusty stuff (looked like rust) on the inside of the toe stop hole and wanted to be sure it wouldn’t effect my skating. After a corresponded of like 4 days they said it was so i shipped the plates I had been sent back and was told that as soon as the tracking went through they would ship new plates. They didn’t. They waited until they got the plates back. Then called me and told me all about how it was rust and they were a little rude about it. Then they said they would give me a discount to mount my skates so they wouldn’t have to ship the new plates. I agreed. Shipped my skates. They even said I would “skip the line of people waiting for 4 weeks”. I still had to wait like 2 weeks to get my skates back. I understand with the pandemic and the rollerskating boom that obviously there was going to be more time invested. I just wish they were honest about it instead of telling me “oh we will ship your skates Tuesday” and then Friday rolls around and they didn’t ship them. I have the skates now. I like the mount. The mounter was really good. Called me and talked to me about what kind of mount would work well for me and the type of skating I enjoyed. Overall, I think I’ll be taking my business elsewhere from now on due to the overall experience, disappointing when management lacks customer service skills.

Had a very quick and efficient visit here today! The women working were super nice and attentive, I left with a perfect pair of inline skates and pads. Would definitely recommend coming here for all your skating accessories!

We were having problems locating skates for my Granddaughter Leyla. I actually live in La Quinta, California which is East of Palm Springs. We were having no luck when Leyla happen upon the Website for Sin City Skates. At first glance the name was a complete turn off. I actually asked Leyla to look elsewhere. She mentioned they were in San Diego and also showed me their address. Ive lived in San Diego so I immediately recognized the community loaded with small businesses. My Son lives in San Diego so I thought Id kill time and check out Sin City Skates. The place is a lot larger than I had8 anticipated. We were immediately helped by a very nice young lady. We started asking a lot of question so Trish stepped in and answered everyone of them. It seems that because of Covid19 everybody wants to Roller Skates. Go Figure.I highly recommend Sin City Skates. Ask for Trish she knows everything about skates. But let me warn you beforehand, Trishes hair takes a little getting used to.

They have Actual Customer Service!! And Great customer service at that. Its hard to recall what thats like these days and especially since all the Covid 19 nonsense. I cant wait til my skates ....or Any skates in my size are in. But even before they are here the entire visit was 10 outta 10 stars. Highly recommend this place.

They really know their stuff and it was such a pleasure going in here! Im definitely returning. I am a beginner and Bo took her time to explain a lot to me and answer all of my questions. She is passionate about skating and compared to other places Ive shopped it made a huge difference.

I already had a pair of skates and i came here with my best friend, who had never skated, to get a pair for him. Bo was the person who helped us, and she was extremely knowledgeable, patient, helpful, and very sweet! I would highly recommend this skate shop to any skaters in the San Diego area!

The Owner/Operator has lost her passion and didnt want our business. We eMailed multiple times with requests to visit her shop to purchase skates but had no response. After we waited for a response for about a week we stopped in and she kicked us out. I understand with COVID-19 she was only allowed a limited number of people in her shop (which is a storage unit) however we were the only ones there and the next customer wasnt expected for a little over an hour. Found another skate shop in town. Sorry, I know your a small business owner and I feel bad but we had money to spend that day and we walked away with a bad experience. (I was looking to purchase new plates for my custom Harlick boots and my daughter wanted to purchase/order new skates).

Very knowledgeable and helpful. Went in today planning on getting a starting package for derby and ended up getting much more. Got a skate custom ordered and everything I could possibly want. They were very busy for first thing at opening and I can see why. The girl helping me treated me as if I was a close derby friend and was giving me the ins and outs of all equipment. Helping me try everything on and finding the perfect fit. Even with a store full, I felt that everyone got exceptional service and exactly what they needed. Custom built skates so comfortable and cool its like youre skating on a cloud. The skaters who own and run the place are concerned for your safety and image so the shop is hip and the derby gals knowledgeable. Dont leave without signing the door!

My daughters and I walk into Sin City Skates and are met by a really cool, knowledgeable and up beat lady they call Bacon. I love it. Anyway I have no idea what to get my kids 7 1/2 and 9 years old. From start to finish she helped us out, found great quality skates, perfect fit with lightning bolt effects that light up and she shipped them to us :) My girls are over the moon happy!! Excellent products!! Excellent and professional customer service!! My only regret is that didnt get a pair too.

Trish was very helpful. She knows her stuff and she made sure I was aware of the pros and cons of each item. She took the time to fit me and find the perfect rookie gear within my budget. Excellent customer service from staff everytime Ive been there. Unlike other places, they wont try to rip you off or convince you to get more stuff that you dont need. They are honest and very informative.
