Has a nice place to ride bikes and scooter but the facilities aren’t nice

Spacious park near the rec center which offers restrooms, basketball court and indoor gym. Lots of shade. Sand park with playground (5 swings).

We went to the outdoor concert in the park last Friday evening, Sept. 6th, 2019 & had a great time. The band was High Tide Society playing a classic mix of Yacht Rock. The band played from 6 pm to 8:15 pm & the large crowd had wonderful time dancing the night away. Another positive aspect, this is a very friendly dog park & dogs are also welcome to attend the concert.Ideal Plumbing provided much of the free food which included hot dogs, grilled cheese sandwiches, chips & bottled water. Grocery Outlet gave out free popcyles & Ponces Mexican restaurant offered free chicken or beef tacos.People brought their blankets & beach chairs, ice chests & anything comfortable to relax on to enjoy the music, friendly neighborhood atmosphere & beautiful weather.This is a large grassy park, with a 1/2 mile circular sidewalk for those avid walkers or runners. Theres a large, safe playground for the children to play on & 2 basketball courts, indoor & outdoor.There are many picnic benches scattered throughout this friendly park & its a popular place to celebrate birthdays & holidays. Also there are many exercise, yoga & self defense classes that meet here. There are several very large trees that provide much needed shade & comfort on those hot summer days. There are public bathrooms that are open during public hours.As for parking, there is plenty of on street parking as well as a parking lot just for the park, with handicap spaces. This is a very safe park with little, if any, crime reported. No graffiti, drug or alcohol use is allowed. The park is very well lit during the evening hours & no overnight camping/sleeping is allowed. There are many trash cans & doggie poop bags available for free. Everyone pitches in to keep this park clean, beautiful & safe for all, young & old to enjoy.

My son goes there for Soccer Shots. I know the rec center offers a lot of other activities. So great place to go. Great place for doggies too!

Because of the pandemic we dont let our children play on playgrounds BUT here there is a large grass area so we can being a ball and they can run about.

The kids really like going when they can. Lots of activities and sport teams they can join. At times they are able to get after school homework help there. Handicapped accessible, free parking.

If you want to play some soccer with your friends or alone, just go there its really fun, but be careful somedays the field is occupied

First time here for me. Medium sized community park, good amenities, very functional. Easily handled our group, and lots of others. Ill happily return.

We have lived in Allied Gardens area for a little over a year now. So my family has been loving it. The park here is very nice. Very well maintained. Love taking walks here with my son, especially for some good Pokemon Go exploring.

Love the variety here. My soccer players have goals to shoot on, theres a great playground and the rec center has a wonderful selection of classes, sports and programs.

Great for a Sunday afternoon walk with the family and doggies.

Had a great time at the First Friday concert. Well kept park with ample trash and recycling bins.

Safe, clean dog friendly, with trees and lots of room to exercise pets. Big play area for the kids to go wild away from street parking, also have plenty of handy cap spots in lot by bathrooms, also well lit up at nights in surrounding neighborhood area

Recreation says it all. Landscape is beautiful & huge. Different activities can be done

I go to volleyball here almost all week and I love it! They have the best coaches and teach REAL volleyball. They have a nice park by the REC center for your younger siblings. They have dance, basketball, volleyball, and other sports. You would definitely check out Allied gardens REC center.

Huge park with giant green space, walking path, trees, play ground, community building and bathroom with plumbing. The park is nestled in the middle of a quiet neighborhood. Its easy to drive here and there are plenty of free parking spaces, or you can park on the adjacent street. The park is clean, and it seems that people respect the area and dont litter.

This rec center has it all as austree parking and on-street parking theres plenty of space theres a playground for children theres an indoor rec Hall or indoor sports mainly basketball theres a community swimming pool which is well maintained theres a public library there are picnic benches barbecue areas its great for the whole family its located in a very crime-free neighborhood

Great cause its close but I talk to people here that grew up here back in the 80s and they say the park hasnt changed a bit. Theyre talking about the equipment. Thats ridiculous considering the taxes this community pays.

Nice facility with lots of activities to choose from. Well-kept and maintained. Lots of area to walk, exercise, picnic. Parking is good and accessible.

This facility has a wide range of sporting opportunities for all to enjoy. Sense my daughter moved into the area we have been visiting this recreational park and has me us very happy.

Recreation Center is a neighborhood park, where many personal memories are found among the fine facilities here.Picnic tables, playground, water, restrooms sometimes open, walking paths around large lawn areas with abundant trees make this a favorite destination.

The staff here are really nice. I wish they had more free swim hours, but other than that, cant complain. The facility is clean, and its family friendly.

I go here for a free fencing class every Sunday at 1 pm. You should come by too its a pretty good time.

Im in 8th grade in Lewis Middle School right next to the park and i go to the rec center all the time it is really nice

Open Park very friendly neighborhood, good view of Cowles Mountain and many different sports fields to play on

Very big grass area. Lots of Poke Stops. Perfect circle to walk around and get some exercise. Lots of shade to sit an chill. Bathrooms are open a lot of the time.

It was a splendid evening of summer concert at Allied Gardens Park. The recreation center took my wife back to her 6th grade PE experiences.

Love the kids volleyball league. They have great coaches and the kids all have a great time.

Kids volleyball program is great. Gym staff is helpful and the outdoor areas are well maintained.

I went to an event here, it was clean it was safe and it was nice.

Nice open field, helpful staff, clean bathrooms, plenty of parking but can get crowded during weeknights.

Me and my cousin always go there to run and is really nice, just avoid lunch time... there is a lot kids and teenagers going out the school.

This facility hosts a weekly meeting I attend for the SCA. They are kind, courteous and the facility is always clean.
