Because of the earnest efforts of the new manager Alice Walton I have decided to up my rating and will add more to it in a couple more months when I see how everything works out. even though she is only the interim manager her people skills are much superior to the ones of the former two managers. She proves you can be businesslike and still be a very pleasant person in doing so!
I am currrently working on buying a home in Linda Vista Village after spending the last two years looking at all the options for such a purchase in San Diego. I want to complement the new Park manager, Jeanette . She has been very pleasant and competent during this process. I look forward to living in LVV.
Quaint park that sits atop two canyons.Seems well maintained,Tenants have use of clubhouse, swimming pool, jacuzzi, and laundry.I know someone who lives here, and they are pleased with the location and freeway access close at hand.also a good central location to USD,Clairemont,Mesa College,Kearny Mesa as well as fashion and Mission valley and friars rd shopping, South on 163 takes you to Hillcrest,Northpark,Balboa Park Petco Park, the Gaslamp district Downtown and harbor attractions. so you can choose from many San DIego destinations from this central local. There are homes for sale here but dont know about rentals.Happy Trails to you Until We meet again.
Pleasant park. I have a friend who lives there
Well maintained landscape, it has a diversity of ages and mostly older which is nice cause no loud parties. There are kids on their scooters, which is nice makes it feel like a community. As for dogs and Cats, never seen any cats and but there a lot of dogs from yappy Chihuahua to nice a quiet big dogs. Most of the neighbors are nice and quiet and awesome. And now the Downside, yes folks there’s a reason for this low star rating, The Property Manager, Not Friendly, not a people person, bad attitude, not helpful and rude. She never answers the phone or return your phone calls. And as for Security they don’t help at all, phones never work when you need them to get a hold of them, and there robot response is we will tell the Property Manager and don’t worry she will never address and continue on with her job. Also I own a Trailer and there is a location for trailer park which is very nice to have, but also need a sign for hours, so people do not disturb other neighbors. Also spots are not lined and not maintained roads pretty little rocky.
So my parents and I have lived in Linda Vista mobile home park for almost 5 years now. I like it a lot, the place is really nice and well kept. Yolanda the manager does a phenominal job here. I never thought Iʻd like living in a mobile home park, but this one is really nice and the neighbors are quiet. Definetly not embarrassed to bring my friends here. The amenities in the club house along with the hot tub and pool give my family and I a nice place to have fun and relax.
We have lived in Linda Vista Village for about a year and a half now and we are so glad we chose to live here. Unfortunately, as we found out at the beginning, it is not an easy place to get approved in. It is a highly sought after location. We bought an existing home and needed to not only be approved for the purchase of the home, but be approved by the management to rent the space. The background checks and income verifications take time and are stressful but its worth it.We looked around at other Parks and nothing else came close to fitting our needs. The location cant be beat. We had no idea it was even here and I think its one of the best kept secrets of the area. You can drive on Osler and never even see the entrance. We are close to everything such as shopping malls and restaurants. There is easy access to the highways which makes getting around very convenient. There is convenience store very close. When we first entered Linda Vista Village, we were surprised how clean it is. The trees are well manicured, the grass is cut and the homes are well kept, including the yards. Many of the lots back onto Tecolote Canyon so the nearest neighbours on the back are on the other side of the canyon. I think the lot sizes are good and they provide enough room on the sides where you dont feel like your neighbours are on top of you.It is a very quiet place to live. During the daytime, you hear the normal sounds cars and airplanes going overhead, but at night, it is very quiet and really quite peaceful. Occasionally you will hear Coyotes calling to each other. The fog frequently rolls in and it is really beautiful. There is almost always a constant light breeze coming though to bring cool fresh air from the ocean. The people living in the park are for the most part, very nice. You will see people walking their dogs and are friendly. I find people watch out for each other and notice the little things. I tell my neighbours when I see something unusual and they do the same for us. There is a security guard who patrols and we really appreciate knowing they are keeping an eye on things. After being here for a short time, we realized that the reason the living here is so good, is that the management and maintenance is on top of things. We can tell they work hard to make sure everything runs smoothly. The staff are always friendly. Often times I am taking my dogs for a walk and we will drop by to say hello and I am always made to feel welcome.
Honestly the property isnt all that bad. It has a variety of ages but leaning more towards the retired folk. It has its fair share of the odd variety and suspect looking kids but overall everyone keeps to themselves. Bunch of cats and yappy dogs too. I personally dont like hearing tiny dogs bark all day but I guess you get used to it. The only reason I am giving the property a low rating is because of the manager. The previous managers havent been so bad but the new one seems like she has a really bad attitude. We all have bad days but its your choice to choose this job to deal with other people and it is never ok to be rude even when you say hello. She never answers the phone or return your phone calls. The way she perceives a problem is that she doesnt have to help you fix it. Wait. Arent you the property manager? I guess not for long so why try. But to each his own. Its just unfortunate because it makes you not want to ever call for something that may be needed or questioned. I am only writing this because of the lack of reviews I had to read before we chose to move here so hopefully it can help the next person because they have quite a few houses that popped up for sale. But i wonder why?
Great views and ocean breezes. The surrounding neighborhood has some low points though.
Nice, quiet modular homes
Great location and well cared for by management.
Got gas
