The plaza de Panama in Balboa park is quite the spectacle. Fountains, big trees and grass everywhere. Lots of history, I could spend a lot of time here.
I love all the flowers and fountains there. it is very pretty
Why do I love Balboa Park? Its Balboa Park!
Great spot right in the middle of Balboa Park, grab a bite to eat at the local Panama 66 and enjoy your lunch while watching some street performers. Beautiful view of the San Diego Museum of Art and plenty of seating areas to grab a bite or kill some time.
A fantastic center piece of Balboa Park, and some seating for a beautiful lunch experience. People watch, or take in the scenery and views.
Beautiful place enjoyed myself nice people had a really nice time and I know you would too I recommend this place
Just gorgeous. So much to see without spending a dime. Stunning fountains and inspiring gardens at every turn.
If you are wanting to go to Balboa Park this is the location you want to head to in your phone. This can be helpful for navigation especially at night or for tourists. This part of the park was great. Ample green space, Japanese gardens, a botanical garden, museums, and street performers all in the close vicinity. Also great for people watching or enjoying a stroll or bite to eat.
Friday nights food truck is a good way to discover or rediscover Balboa Park
This explanate is the heart of Balboa Park. With a gorgeous fountain surrounded by tables where people can rest and sculptures by renowned artists, this is the place to admire the beautiful architecture of the park.
Food truck Fridays are fun!
Nice place To hang around
The Plaza de Panama is a wonderful part of central Balboa Park. Now that the parking spaces have been removed, patrons of the park can enjoy a snack or simply sit at the tables and enjoy the afternoon or weekend.
Worth a visit
What a great space, open with shaded tables. Great for food truck Friday!
Great place to spend your time
Since moving the Plaza de Panama from a useless parking lot to a pedestrian plaza, its finally become something to write online about.Theres still a massive hustle and bustle of traffic, trams and buses. So, theres still that waft of exhaust every now and again. Nor is it particularly quiet or peaceful, but its a great place to sit in the sun to drink a lemonade and people watch. The park has been rolling out wi-fi stations ahead of the centennial celebration which has made mobile work a lot easier. The ice cream and lemonade carts are still sitting right off the plaza, so now theres finally a nice place to enjoy those tasty treats.
Great spot to eat lunch and enjoy the Park!
This place is better without the traffic.
Happened to walk here on a Food Truck Friday. Festive ambiance, happy people, great food truck variety.
Takes you back in time
