I found a spring suit and full 3-4 wet suit for a great price. They have a lot to choose from, just need to dig around. The changing room isnt available at this time, but you can try it on the store floor. They also have a reward system to incentivize coming back in. Great customer service on the front end. Ill be coming back in no time

Carla was so amazing. I’m a first time long boarder. I’m a veteran to snowboarding, skateboarding . And I’m barely getting back into surfing. Im not in the know with the differences of flex and length with the boards and Carla was so patient with me, she was so incredibly sweet, and she helped me from when I walked into the door to making my final decision for purchase. I would 100% return to this store for further purchases.

Ricardo was super helpful in helping me find and score a new-to-me bicycle to help me with my cross training ventures. Upon my spur of the moment visit, I was also able to score a complete set of ladies golf clubs and a bag, all for less than the price of a new mountain bike. My heart is full and I am super pumped for next weekend to get to play with my new recreational toys. Pacific Beach Play It Again has never let me down in 3 years. Love this place!!!

Play it again is making socially distant shopping a positive experience. We needed some help finding what we needed and Jay was willing to pull a couple options from the store to show us. He was helpful and knowledgeable and we really appreciated it!

I had a great experience at Play It Again Sports in Pacific Beach. I dont know much (if anything) about surfing, other than Ive stood up on rental 8 Wavestorms a few times. The first board I bought (years ago) was a 510 Santa Cruz board which I sold pretty much immediately after buying because I literally couldnt stand up on that thing to save my life. I explained all of this to Jay, who is the manager of the store, and he helped me pick out a good 7 board made by California Board Company. He also helped me pick out a slick board bag so I dont get sand everywhere every time I put it in my car. Jay is a really good dude with highly advanced customer service skills. Every single question I had (I like to ask questions), he answered with honesty, respect, and didnt make me feel inferior (like other shops have) because I am a beginner surfer. He provided me with a lot of good advice to help get me started and I could tell that he is the kind of guy that cares about his customers. The only way to survive in the modern business world, in my opinion, is repeat business, word of mouth referrals, and of course, positive Yelp & Google reviews. I really believe that Jay deserves a raise because people like him are extremely rare in the business world and people like him deserve to be rewarded for going well above and beyond. Ill be back (probably to buy a skateboard so that I can relive my early teen years) and I will refer my friends here because of my exceptionally positive experience. Thank you, again, Jay!

I read the reviews before coming to Play It Again Sports and I thought that I would give them a try. When I got to there I had an employee helping me and he didn’t know much about bikes. So then I had another employee helping me and he was perfect. I got an amazing bike for a great price! They really work with you and your specific needs!

Good selection of used skateboards and parts, staff are friendly but not all are experts in every sport, so be careful who you talk to about what. The first time we had grip tape put on a skateboard the guy did a great job but he was also a skater. The second time was not great, but he also wasnt a skater. So choose wisely.

They are upfront about pricing. They will offer you the lowest amount they can so they can make a profit on selling it. Im not faulting them, its just the reality.

Probably one of the best Play It Agains Ive been to. A lot of selection, and people generally know what theyre talking about. I actually still take my snowboard here to get waxed. If youre here for snowboards here, Jay will be your man.

The employee Jay helped me tremendously find the right nuts and bolts for my rollerblades, and after a little experimentation along with trial and error, he found what I needed. I felt he was genuinely giving great customer service! The world can learn from this man!

People where very friendly,Always difficult getting rid of old sports gear. I like play it again because hopefully, the next generation will be able to play with great sports gear, at a good price.

Got my first longbord here and it wasnt too expensive plus the bord its self is seriously awesome. Employees were super cool in helping me find the perfect bord. Im definitely coming back for more stuff

I bought a wetsuit there and it was destroyed after less than one year. Not worth it. Also I bought a skateboard there for $100. I realized the board wasnt for me and tried to sell it back a month later and they only offered me $20. So lame.
