This place is great, a bit hidden though. Plenty of space and well maintained. The crowd is friendly and the space is open during Covid.
Its an awesome place. Its like a golf course. Go to the right direction down the trail target by target. Wear something that people can see you. Theres a map at the top. leave your money in the slot so someone can afford to replace the targets. On a side note its not a KOA nor is it a place to turn a trick. If you want to go bird-watching go to the San Diego zoo. If you want to walk on the trails bring your bow and arrow with you and walk sequentially on the course. When you walk on to this you know youre on an archery range and if you cant figure it out you have no business being here.
Great sight in range as well as walking course. Very well kept targets. Ill be back as much as possible.
DO NOT GO HERE. I wish I could give the place 0 stars. SO DANGEROUS. The targets and trails cut across one another which there is NO warning about anywhere. Lucky I pay attention. I had an oblivious women walk right in between me and my target while I was drawn back. AGAIN SHE IS LUCKY I PAY ATTENTION. Also there are beer cans and boxes everywhere. I really appreciate how there is no one there to monitor the safety of the range. This place should be shut down for being unsafe. THE WORST ARCHERY RANGE EVER. I can’t believe people haven’t DIED HERE. Especially small children that have parents not paying attention and running around everywhere
This place is a lot of fun. Only downside is a lot of the targets are only available during tournaments. But the cost to shoot is very fair and you get a real workout on the trails between the targets. There are several distance options on each target, so even the beginner can have a good time.
Bob is super friendly. Be smart be safe
Good outdoor range. You have to pay a $2 fee to shoot and you cant bring crossbows. Parking is kind of hard to find because its Public parking for the entire park and there are no directions pointing you to the range. Best way to find it is: Look for Public Parking sign in the park and the range is about 20 yards west of the parking lot.
We love this Range, You can walk the trails and shoot multiple Targets. Clean, Fun and pretty cool targets. They do 3d and King Arthur Tournaments as well.
A good bit of a hike, but a great range! $2 per person. Just wish people would be more considerate about taking their own trash out.
Good group runs it. Targets always available. Just make sure theres no tournament going on first
Love it! Just make sure you follow the targets by number. One time this guy was going back and he got between me and the target. Almost shot him.Its hard to see people going back, going in wrong directions or skipping targets. Be very careful. I would advice you go all around and just follow the whole trail if you want to get back the the entrance/exit.
Cant wait to go back would love to see more targets up but hay!! A blast. make sure you donate and let keep it going
A great archery range with a minimal $2 fee for use.
Awesome shooting park for only $2. No staff on site or actual store to rent bows for people out of town.
Awesome spot. Friendly people
Id give zero stars but that wasnt an option. NO PARKING!!!!!! 10 DIFFRENT TIMES
We almost got shot at here. Not sure how it happened, but we ended up walking through the range thinking it was a walking trail (came in through a back gate somewhere). Didnt realize where we were until we saw targets and heard people shooting arrows our way. Probably need to secure the perimeter of your range and put up more signage.
Great staff very informative!!!!
