Best aquarium store in town! Not only do they stock almost anything a novice would need to get started they have employees with the knowledge to get you on your feet. When you get their for the first time do not hesitate to ask questions they know their stuff! Also if you think about going somewhere else do some research and check the price, I have found products here for way cheaper then other places. The only exception is the RO water but hey you cant always be perfect right?

Im just getting set up with the saltwater hobby and along with internet research on my own the employees here were able to tell me everything I needed to get set up successfully. I walked out with equipment I did need and some extras because the prices were reasonable and competitive as well. Definitely give this store your business.

Good prices and very clean store. Was super busy when I was there so staff was busy with other customers. Fish all looked very healthy and prices were unbelieveable. Not a huge collection of coral, but what they had was priced very well and seemed very happy/healthy. I wish we had saltwater fish stores like this by me!

Aquatic Warehouse is one of my top 3 fish stores I go to for their kindness and selection of fish and plantes. Great prices. Must visit at lease once to see. I travel over 17 miles to them and 17 miles back home.

Ive been to most of the aquarium supply stores in San Diego and these guys are my favorite by a large margin. Very knowledgeable, patient, kind, VERY newbie friendly, and clearly passionate about the hobby. Their prices are reasonable as well. I try to bring them all my business - go here and support your small businesses! Petco doesnt need your money

They have a good enough selection but its like pulling teeth to get any help from staff. Id rather pay more to deal with someone who seem like they enjoy helping customers who are new to the hobby.

Extremely helpful! They have some lovely fish of both fresh and saltwater varieties and I found their answers to my questions to be very detailed and helpful. The place itself is super cool and fun to walk around! They also have prices much cheaper than petco since its a specialized store so I highly recommend this place for all your fish needs! The employees are also very wonderful and will do their best to help you with anything you need. 10/10.

They have a great selection of fish, and were extremely helpful when I went in trying to setup a new tank. Very clean store with plenty of parking, right off HW5. Way better price on tanks then youll find on Amazon, and you dont have to worry about them showing up in a thousand little pieces! Talked me through everything I needed to do to setup a new tank correctly and actually undercharged me for the feeder fish to help kickstart the nitrogen cycle.

Great selection on both fresh and saltwater fish. Known to get rare exotic fresh water fish. Great and knowledgeable staff. Always willing to help. I live more than 30 miles from the facility but anytime Im in the are I have to stop by to see what they have. Very recommended!!

I placed my order online from the East Coast, and received it very quickly. It was very clearly packaged with care - and included a really neat pamphlet on aquascaping tools.I did call in before ordering, and the staff was incredibly kind and happy to answer any questions. Overall a great experience. I am looking forward to placing my next order, and hope to visit some day in the future.This is an easy recommendation to anyone in the hobby/craft.

The spacious layout the facility has multiple saltwater fresh water aquarium livestock selections, as well as required and additional equipment. Their tank selection as well as stand selection and equipment selections are always outstanding The personal that work there are always very informative and helpful in assisting any questions Ive ever brought to their attention. Great prices considering it is a local fish store and not a major retailer.

Havent been here in a long time. Soon as I walked in the store, was greeted and helped finding everything I needed. Ending up walking out with 2 Kessil lights and a 40 gallon Cobalt tank with stand. Great place and great people. Was taken care of by Derek and Cameron. Will be back for sure

Great place for fish and corals but they almost always have your needed plumbing or lighting parts as well. They saved me by having a nearly impossible to find controller for my discontinued skimmer pump.

All I can say is WOW. Never has this happen to me in getting quality service. I have been in their store many times to purchase my pond suppiles and everyone is very helpful. Today, I was not sure to make the trip down to them late in the afternoon, traffic....we all know how that can be, any way I look at them on line so I order UV bulbs. Order was placed around 1 - 1:30. Free shipping, cool, placed the order. I figured by tomorrow I would get them, which was cool. To my surprise, that day by my front door were the UV bulbs, WHAT....I was so surprised that they were here. That is way better then Amazon, hands down.....I recomend them to all, if your looking for the best service anywhere!!!!!!

Aquatic Warehouse is a very appropriate name for this place, its huge. They have a good selection of salt and freshwater fish. Prices are not very competitive. Employees are nice and speak confidently, but the place can feel like shopping at a used car dealership.

This place is huge and amazing and has everything anyone who loves fish could want. Ive been shopping here religiously over the last 10 years as it is one of my absolute favorite stores. However, the last few times Ive been there hasnt been a pleasant experience. The place has gotten dirty and disorganized, with lots of dead fish in tanks. But thats not the worst part. I walked into the store after work a couple days ago, there was a good 6-8 male employees working that I could see, and not a single person greeted me, said hi, smiled, asked if I needed help, or anything. A couple employees even made eye contact with me and still nothing! Not even a smile. I walked around the store for about 10 minutes listening to a very loud conversation on dating women, when I finally walked back up to the front counter and asked if they had anyone that could help me. The guy begrudgingly helped me, but was in a big rush, and treated me like I was a bother. For someone who has bred many species of freshwater fish over the years, and has spent a lot of money in this store, I feel it was extremely rude, and I felt very awkward even asking for help. I think yall need to have a sit down and talk about customer service and not having inappropriate conversations where customers can hear them. Ive been in retail for over 20 years, so I get it, but this was totally unacceptable. Ill give this store a few more chances because they have an amazing selection, but if I experience the same things again Ill be finding a new store to go to.

This place has been a staple of San Diego fish keeping for as long as I can remember. It goes without saying that they are the de-facto experts for anyone who wants to get into the hobby. yeah some of their stuff is a little bit more expensive than say buying it off Amazon the nice thing is you get I staff that genuinely cares about the animals and cares about making sure that you make the best purchase possible for your particular setup.I typically shop here with confidence knowing that will help me out with any questions that I have in the event that I ever come up with any.

Salt water and plant selection was pretty impressive, but they have a large wall of very very sad Betta fish greeting all who walk in. Hard to want to buy here when the first fish you see look distressed.

Big store, a lot to see. Cheap RO water and rent out containers if you dont have your own, but Id suggest bringing your own. Super awesome place to go to if you have a saltwater or brackish water tank. We had gone to petco, petsmart, kahoots and walmart for our brackish water needs and were very disappointed. People here are friendly and helpful. Most of of all they know what they are doing and give you tips. The food we needed for our green spotted puffer fish we found here with ease.
