This place has some amazing facts...check it out
This museum is a small collection of items and historical pieces related to the city of San Carlos. You can get some unique insight into the people and important characters who played a role in making San Carlos what it is today. The narration can be improved so the visitor can find their way through the history along the time passage.
Fantastic. Very interesting artifacts, photos, maps, and an awesome fire truck. Very informedand welcoming docents. Ive lived in San Carlos for 28 years but this was my first visit to the museum. It wont be my last. Thank you San Carlos. I love ya.
Its a single room with all kinds of miscellaneous knick knacks. A lot of them are not properly labelled or dated. Not worth a special visit. The fire truck in the center of the room is worth some attention.
Its a small museum in the downtown, pick up a Starbucks and walk a block over.Open only on Saturdays 1-4pm. Given the limited hours, youll need to remember to go here otherwise a casual drop-in is not possible. Theres local artifacts (its hard to say artifacts since most items are within the last 50 years) of San Carlos High School, the 1961 Pony baseball team, etc. If you live in San Carlos, its very meaningful to connect historical figures and recognize their names on the street map. Who knew that the old San Carlos High cheerleader outfit looks like the USC Trojans sweater?A 20 minute DVD of San Carlos history runs on a loop.
