Always a great show with outstanding performances by the actors. Everything weve ever seen here has been well rehearsed, and even the novice cast members do a fantastic job. Please come and support your local theater. You will be glad you did!

A great, small theater (in the round) for the public that makes the audience feel a part of the production. Can even have a glass of wine and light refreshments to enjoy. Something unique for Salisbury to enjoy!!

The Lee Street Theatre production of Love,Loss and What I Wore was.a delight. The nearly full house was the second night of such a turnout as a fund raiser for the Wallace Cancer Center under construction across from the Hospital on Mocksville Avenue. The actresses delivered laughs tears, and memories of growing up with our mothers and their sometimes unwelcome advice.

It’s a very attractive theater inside and out. The setting is quite small, making for a more intimate experience. We’ve been here several times for a variety of shows—Rocky Horror Picture Show, Steel Magnolias, a few who’s name escapes me right now. They cover the very well known to obscure. We’ll be attending again tonight if all goes well. A pleasurable experience here every time.

This theater truly demonstrates what it means to experience the feeling. Even with a small staff, they are able to produce several quality plays and concerts throughout their season. Supportive of local artists and college students, they embody what it means to be a community theater. Rod Oden, the Executive Director, is a hard-working man who produces beautiful sets and lighting designs for his audience, while accomodating many artisitic visions and shining light on plays that otherwise might not be shown in the community. Ive seen Blithe Spirit, Vanya and Masha and Sonia and Spike, multiple concerts, the 10x10 plays in the Spotlight series, the Eight Reindeer Monologues, the Rocky Horror Trolley Tour among others since moving to Salisbury. I look forward to experiencing the feeling with what they produce next!

My husband and I held our wedding reception here back in March of this year. Im late in posting my review but it is not lacking in sincerity. We cant thank Rod enough. He made our special day infinitely easier, was extremely accommodating and a lot of fun the night of. Our only regret is not getting a picture with him because we truly wont forget how great he was to us. The space was perfect as well but Rod made the night for us. We cant say thank you enough.

I was with Lee St for a time from its very first show across the street. Robert and co. gave it a strong start, and it continues to get better every season. From an upstart little alternative to rated 2nd in all of NC! Pick a show, any show. You will be impressed!

The Lee Street Theatre is always a pleasure. Its a blackbox theater with some very creative set designers and very talented local actors. Ive been to 3 shows over the past year and am considering the season pass for this next season. Its really a gem in a small town. This old warehouse has been converted to a wonderful theater with local beer and wine for sale in the entry. Each show is currently $15 for an adult. Next season looks to a smashing line-up...you wont be disappointed. Come visit the Lee Street Theatre!

Nice theater, good shows. Dont audition if you dont have a connection, you wont get a part. Only those who know someone or are apart of a particular group are allowed parts in the shows. You might not even get a chance to audition, you will wait the entire time and never get to speak a part in the show.

It was small and warm and cozy. Very friendly, clean and a pleasant atmosphere. We saw Phil Keaggy in concert and it was a small enough theater to not feel crowded and for everyone to have an opportunity to meet him afterwards.
