Nice park. The city does their best in maintaining it. but unfortunately people do not follow the rules and walk their dogs in the park leaving a lot of dog feces all over the lawn and walkways even though there are posted signs the dog walking is not allowed in the park.

Live nearby. Great for walking your dog or listening/watching the Aztec Drummers when they practice.

Large open space. Ideal for a jog or walk. Has two softball fields and basketball courts.

Just about everyone was wearing a mask. Due to the covid the restrooms, basketball courts and bbq pits are not accessible

Clean safe area, a lot of parking on the side. Not too many picnic tables but grass area maybe sufficient.

I enjoy utilizing the fully contained baseball field to train my 2 yr old pitbulls. This is against park rules but find its worth the risk of a ticket. Theres few places in Salinas that can safely accommodate training multiple dogs off leash. Be respectful and clean up after your dogs. Vacate the field should anyone need to use it for practice/game.

Great walking trail and place to have a family get together. Lots of space. And bbqs basketball courts and baseball fields. Bathrooms are ok. Except the ones on the far corner they dont even have doors on the stalls.

This is a good place to walk around and I like that there is a center for children there. Overall this is a nice park for walking. I recommend it for parties or walks.

I helped with the Election. I was inside the center.I didnt realize everything thst happens at this small community center.They even have Zumba classes.

Clean Nice Park

We have enjoyed the nature park much more as seniors. We use it for our walking for the day. The trail offers you a mile or two mile loop. The two mile loop takes you around the lake. Birds and squirrels are found. The last year we had Canadian geese staying in the park. They also offer a quarter mile paved loop. We took my mother in law on that loop. They have benches on all trails. The mile and two mile loop have water available. The two mile loop has restrooms. The gift shop has toys and nature items available. Admission is $6 Monday through Friday with weekends $8. We brought an annual pass $29. I paid the daily rate before writing a check for the annual pass after they deducted $6 from the $35 rate. The trail is has uphill and downhill points along with shaded and sunny sections. The trail is well marked at the two mile junction for the longer walk. A hidden gem in the city of Long Beach

A good park for the kids but would like parents to be more aware of their kids. Sometimes kids get hurt on play structure and no parents around to help them so sad

Amazing park, sure sometimes its full of people that arent the brightest, but when its not then its an amazing place to play sports.

El Dorado park has always been a public community place where everyone that lived in the near by neighborhoods would visit and celebrate special events on the weekends its certainly a part of this community.

Nice vibe plenty of tables for extra large events. Clean,well maintained. Pleanty of open palaces for the friendly (not competitive) football game or frisbee. The plus,you get to spend the day with family, friends, hopefully you have great wheather like we did that day,what more could a person want.#NADIASH.S.G WAS BLESSED TO BE INCLUDED....

Super fun park! Kinda dirty at times though. As far as people not picking up their trash. But otherwise its a great park, lots to do!

This place hasnt changed much since my now 14 year-old used to play here. Now we both enjoy watching her siblings 1 and 2 play here. Love the big fields and the abundant trees, like a park should be. You will always see someone walking or running around the park or riding a bike. There is an area where I have seen kids on their skateboards and others on scooters. On weekends there is always someone having a birthday party or having a BBQ. There is plenty of space and parking. There is a basketball court next to the bathrooms. Pretty big park with everyone in mind. There is always someone selling ice cream.

Played El Dorado yesterday. The Greenskeeper has done quite a good job with the course considering our water shortage. The course was in good condition. Most players have repaired divots and ball marks. One minus point - the bunkers need to be resanded. My sand iron bounced on a couple of attempts to get out of those pesky hazards. Guess the moral of that story is - dont get in the sand. However, overall the course was quite nice and, as usual the staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. Definitely one of the better public courses in SoCal.

Great place to take your family, park is in a good area, have plenty of tables and grills for barbecuing. Nice playground, and lots of open space. Also have basketball courts, and baseball fields. Park is not enclosed but they have speed bumps; so drivers are cautious.

Its a big enough park and there are 2 locations for bathrooms bit the picnic tables under the trees are in need serious need of repair and the bathrooms need soap and dryer.

Grew up in this park. Excellent park to visit and play in with friends and family.
