Teriffic old time theater. Beautiful inside and out. Interesting historical art on display. Would love to see another film here again. Hope this remains in the community for years to come.

Salem Grand is a small community theater. Very comfortable seating with excellent views of the stage. The concession stand is great, offering the typical variety of candies, sodas, and popcorn...but additional offerings of beer, wine, coffee, juices and local, packaged, confectionaries. Could probably use a better marketing tool for increased attendance! I recently attended The Odd Couple by women! Too funny!

What a beautiful theater! It has been nicely redone. I knew this was an older theater, so I wasnt sure what to expect. The seating is new and very comfy, and it was easy to see the stage. We enjoyed!

So amazing to see the Grand Theater restored. I used to go see movies here when I was a kid. Now you can see some amazing real life theater here. This is a great place to come for a date night after a nice dinner out down town somewhere. Salem needed this wonderful addition!

Great performance of the show Bunny. The theater is pretty nice albeit a tad small. Will keep an eye out for future performances here - if others are as good then it will be a nice place to visit again.

Sweeney Todd was amazing. This was a dress rehearsal so it will only get better. The actors did such a great job. Love, love, loved it!

Excellent place to see a weekend performance. Appropriately priced snacks and drinks! Incredible granite bathrooms! Only complaint I have is the monitors the lighting and sounds guys use are so incredibly bright. I went to see a production of Sweeny Todd, and the dark ambiance and fog machine was really held back by the blaring white lights behind me from the sound booth.Aside from that, I could hear and see everything very well and the lighting was amazing!

Fabulous old theatre in downtown Salem that shows socially conscious Progressive Films on the 3rd Tuesday of each month for $5. After the film, there is a question and answer session. This is definitely a good place to learn about current global issues and to connect with local resources.

This is a great historic venue that is excellent for plays, concerts and movies. It is the home of Enlightened Theatrics, who produces a great series of live theatre for Salem.
