For some reason there’s no information on the website or Google Maps that the museum is CLOSED!! We planned our trip to Salem to get to the museum first and we only saw a notice on the door!! Please, update the information and at least mention that it’s TEMPORARY CLOSED
Small, inexpensive museum in Salems Old Town Hall. $3 to get in on this day. Its just one room of banners, info and photos but gives you a ton of info about Salem well beyond the witch hysteria including maritime, revolutionary and slavery. Good spot to get alot of info in one place. I easily spent an hour reading the materials and listening to the gentleman play his music out front.
$3 to read banners in one small room. Very disappointed
So much history and a lot of fun!
My expectations from how it looks didnt meet with what the show about.
The Cry Innocent play was a neat perspective on the witch trials
Ooooh witchy woman
Nice place
Small inexpensive museum located inside old town hall.
This cannot be called a museum... only one room, filled with fancy posters to read from (not even chronological order and nothing almost to see. A few fake costumes and a page of an old journal don’t make a museum...
Educational read, not much to see though.
Small museum located in Salems Old Town Hall.
Great place to visit.
