I dont know how it is now but awhile back my friends and I went regularly. The range is is good. Some of the rules like single loading semi automatic seemed a bit ridiculous. Also got a lot of dirty looks if you select a lane without a barrel. Generally a grumpy older crowd. Its alright for a local range but Albany has a much better more relaxed yet still safe range. Id spend my membership money there.

I gave two stars because the facility and location to Salem is good. I would give one star because only a few members and the really stupid club rules ruin it. I was a member for two years but because of one of the board members who has nothing better to do than look over your shoulder and count how many rounds you shoot as well as quote the rule book verse and chapter I could never enjoy my time shooting. Because of one guy who is retired and has nothing better to do the membership keeps declineing in fact if he didnt shoot I would guess he was one of the liberal democrats who whats to restrict gun rights. Because of the high member dues they can keep doing buisness as usual. I highly recommend the Albany gun club despite having a bit of a drive from Salem over Four Corders

The 3gun event is ran by some great guys. hopefully the club will come around and realize 3gun as a whole is awesome.
