My husband and I went to the Temple Theater for the Eddie Concert Bands Christmas concert and it was amazing. I had never been to the Temple Theater before and was blown away by how beautiful and well maintained everything looked. It was a really special night with friends and we will definitely be going back! ️
Always love coming to Temple Theater. In the past, I have visited here for Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra concerts. On Oct. 29th, I visited again with my husband to watch A Haunting On Dice Road. The atmosphere of this theater makes you feel like you are in a time capsule - everything is pristine to look like it was in 1927. They recently updated the marquee to a digital sign. The show was great. Parking can be pickle if there is an event going on the same night as the Dow event center.
Went to the Drum Tao show, which was great. Other than overpriced food/drinks, which are expected, the food menu is fairly limited - I think three items that are all designed to make you thirsty (one is a pretzel). Id also advise people to a ignore the paid parking ($5 & $10), find a free spot and walk to the venue.
This is such a beautiful building. Theres so much wonderful architecture inside and the staff were wonderful. Ive never met more polite security in any venue. The organ is also a pleasure to hear. Those that upkeep this place deserve our respect.
Absolutely beautiful. We had early access so we got to pick our seats way ahead of the crowd... We went upstairs and sat middle area second row. Probably not a bad seat in the whole theatre though. There is a ledge for drinks and popcorn where we sat, that was awesome. Audio was loud, picture was great and we met some really nice people.
Absolutely great establishment. Affordable tickets. Affordable snacks. Will definitely go as many times as I can.
The Temple Theater is a beautiful place to enjoy any venue. I have been attending functions there since it was a movie theater back in the 60s. The refurbished interior is more fabulous then ever! Its truly a gift to the Saginaw County community.
The ambience is lovely. The staff is extraordinarily friendly. Easy access.
Saw Drum Tao - fantastic. Not a bad venue
The temple theater is a beautiful venue. They host movies, plays, comedy shows, concerts, and other performing arts shows.
Great place to attend an event. Amazing staff, very helpful.
This venue is very old school classy. The whole place has a sophisticated air about it. Parking seemed abundant in nearby lots. Only disappointment was, we saw no ghosts that are rumored to haunt this location.
One of Saginaws hidden gems. You have to go see a show here. It is like going back in time when going to the movies was a fancy affair.
The theater is gorgeous! The acoustics were great. The people working there were not rude, but not terribly helpful or friendly.
I love this place:) Beautiful and historic. A great place to enjoy a show. Good prices for tickets and for the concession. Staff is so friendly. Building is very clean and so are the bathrooms. You get a nice view of the stage no matter where you sit. Were going back in April to see The Ultimate Queen Celebration and I cant wait:)
Beautiful building! Been coming here for years and I have never has a bad experience!
Beautiful venue! Great selection of shows throughout the year, including the Saginaw Bay symphony orchestra. Prices are reasonable for tickets and snacks/drinks from concession stand. Clean bathrooms. Plenty of restaurants near by to go out to eat beforehand. Parking structure and lots near by make for an easy walk to venue.
Beautiful room for a small wedding reception. Lizard lounge. And thee most elegant public ladies room I have ever seen. Employees very courteous .
It was great, the machine rocked. Played Pink Floyd practically note for note
Attended the Saginaw Eddy Bands Christmas Concert at The Temple Theater with John Markey this evening. Fun concert at a beautiful venue.
Staff was urgent to please and take care of any needs you had. Very professional. Building was in good condition, beautiful on the inside. A dance academy was able to put on a beautiful show there.
First time here and we had a great time at the premier of A Haunting on Brockway Street by Haunted Saginaw
I went to see the Queen Celebration and it was phenomenal!!! The theatre itself is beautiful! Had a wonderful time and Freddie Mercury inspired drink.
Beautiful theater. Great, friendly staff, that all take pride in this amazing venue.
This is a great part of my home town: the Temple theater!! Ive been here many times, but the last time was to see a showing of A League of Their Own. What a great movie! The speaker before hand was a nice touch as well. Pointed out an aspect of the movie I never noticed before. The atmosphere is beyond compare. Find a reason to check this place out!
LOVED IT! Gorgeous! Very friendly as well as efficient staff. I would recommend Temple to everyone for a special event.
We recenyly saw The Ultimate Queen Celebration at the Temple theater. The venue is beautiful, the staff is very friendly and the band was incredible. We enjoyed ourselves very much. I highly recommend the venue and the ultimate queen Celebration.
Beautiful, it is as majestic as it was when I was a child. They have done a good job at keeping the theater repaired, despite the economy. If you have the chance, please give this theater your patronage. Even if it is for nothing else but to experience the history in this building.
Very historic place have been involved with it since 1990s.
Beautiful theater in the heart of Saginaw. Love all the detail in the architecture. I go there a lot for the classic movies in the winter months.
Love going to see shows, great old building
A historic building, beautiful, its also considered a lamp museum.
Once I walked inside... This place was totally out of sight and out of mind! Love historical places. Plus on top of it being a theater is even better! I cannot recommend this place enough to somebody that has not been there yet. Check it out!
Wonderfully renovated theater for all occasions. Helpful staff.
It was a good event and they took very good care of each and everyone who came through the door. My son dropped his popcorn and they replaced it at no charge. Everyone left with cookies and milk after the show.
A little girl dreams of her wedding day for a lifetime it seems! My dream was an old Hollywood style wedding with sparkle and old world glam, and that is exactly what I got! I couldnt have been more pleased with our venue choice. From the perfectly decorated atmosphere to the extremely helpful staff, my dream wedding was a reality at the Temple Theatre!!
My grandson and I love coming here with class trips. The plays are awesome!
It is really a beautiful theatre with so much history.
Classy place. Came to a wedding here. It seems like people are having fancy weddings these days. Personally I like hanging out with family and friends at an old bingo hall, but if you have money this place is nice. I really like when people restore old buildings. Beautiful!!!
Great Pokemon spawns with 3 stops in the parking lot and one gym. Always a must stop for community days. A little tricky getting in and out of if the traffic is bad but if you plan your route to head south on 13 than you shouldnt have a problem.
Beautiful building with awesome staff. Would definitely recommend to anybody that enjoys old theatres. Would give 10 starts!
Nice place to see a show and for an affordable price
I saw Rocketman and it was sooo beautiful.
I loved watching Dice road haunting part 2 here... Reason for only 4 stars is because of how close the seats are together. Anytime you need to get up you have to make the whole row stand up and move out into the isle to let you out because them just standing up doesnt give you enough room to get by. But that old building is so beautiful
The Temple looks amazing. I enjoy going there and enjoying myself. Clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Thank you for restoring it.
Really enjoyed the movie: The Sultan and the Saint. Well attended and not expensive. The Temple theater is a really nice venue. We received a lot of background information about the film before and during the film. That really helped us understand what was going on during that time period. Great experience.
The Temple Theatre is an amazing place to perform and see shows. The architecture and the quality of service they offer is astounding.
Great place for live shows and movies. Has a wonderful Barton Theater Organ that is played prior to most events.
So beautiful and clean.
Went to see Caddyshack. Last year around Halloween, The Birds. Beautiful theatre with good entertainment.
Tao drums excellent.
Just beautifuler had a great time watching the girls dance.
Beautiful venue with good performances and great service. Would love to see them get more variety, maybe a comedy show!
It is so lovely to look upward in the theater and enjoy the beautiful ceiling with its fine artistic touches. The acoustics are wonderful. How lucky we are that the Temple Theatre was saved from the wrecking ball by the Shaheen family!
Beautiful, grand old building, built around 1926.
Love seeing shows at the temple...Its a beautiful old theater!
Amazing we go every year for the Saginaw Eddy Band Christmas concert and we are never disappointed. The Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy Choir was inspiring!!
Very elegant theater! We go every year to see the holiday movie series. Everyone is very friendly and the restrooms are incredible. I highly recommend for a great evening out.
Awesome theatre they have all kinds of events from musicals to comedy. Staff are great and friendly.
Beautiful building, great employees
Beautiful place! Heavy (friendly) police presence, I had my grandchildren with me at an event concert and felt very safe.
Great place to see a show
You really need to visit this old theater in Saginaw. Renovations returned this gem to its glory in the early 2000s. When you walk in, you can feel the atmosphere of the 1920s but the stage technologies are really up to date. Make it a point to see a show here.
Awesome acoustics and excellent restoration!!!
Love the staff at the Temple! Such a beautiful and clean theatre.
If you want to experience a very unique place, this is it!
Went there for a music/comedy show. Facilities were good. Paid parking available beside theater convenient.
Beautiful! Had a great time and really enjoyed the show. Concessions could be better.
Its is so beautiful.
Host beautiful shows. beautiful building
Very nice place, clean and friendly staff. Scarry parking across street. Take a flash light. The sound here is terrable when using house sound. Just like state theater in bay city.
A good time was had by all!!! Excellent venue
This Theatre has been beautifully restored. Sound is amazing, balcony seats are big, comfortable, roomy, place to put your drink or other items. Love how the ushers are all dressed up..... Classy!
Really enjoyable classic theatre with nice amenities and concessions. Will definitely visit again.
A very upscale venue with nothing but the best entertainment
Beautiful building & good shows. Save your money though and skip the pop & popcorn.
This was a beautiful place for a wedding! They have stairs and elevators and handicap accommodations!
Today we saw Jurassic Park as part of the Sunday movie series. It was quite an experience. First of all, the theater itself is beautiful. It has been restored to its original 1920s configuration. Before the movie started, we were entertained by an organist playing music written by the composer John Williams (who did the theme to Jurassic Park). All in all, a very nice theater. Plus the concession stand was really cheap. Only $5 for a pretzel or popcorn and a pop.
Great time at Dietrich wedding!
Historic, Beautiful, and too notch performances
Oh.. Not enough words to describe this place! I am a professional violinist and I have the pleasure to play here with Saginaw Bay Orchestra. Always..a magical experience..
Great place. Always a pleasure
So great to see that its been restored. I remember seeing Dancing in the Rain there in the early 50s and then dancing all the way back to 321 Washington to my grandparents great house, now a parking lot. What a loss!
