The only reasons I will say that it is good is because the staff is very friendly and the tennis coaches are amazing! But recently the club has decide to cut the swim team and start renting out the pool making it very hard to get a lane! Another thing in which they did that I absolutely hate is that they stopped paying the tennis coaches!!!! The coaches can teach there but not for the club! I would also say the club is falling apart with clogged toilets that have been clogged for years ripped carpet and the landscaping is done by one person! The tennis courts are out of shape and all around the club there are signs of neglect. I am very into tennis and not happy with how the club is treating the staff and not happy with the tennis program beside the academy. If you are very into tennis I would recommend trying out for the academy if you want a challenge! But if you want a challenge and can’t get into academy I would not recommend! Overall the staff is great! But there are many signs of neglect to the property! it pains me to see this beautiful property fall apart especially to see all the sports programs getting cut and all the coaches not getting paid by the club!

Toured the Arden Hills Country Club yesterday! It’s exactly what I was looking for! So very beautiful and no detail has been missed. Has every sport and amenity you can think of. Even an on-site sports chiropractor. I can’t wait to use the mind/body yoga room. Or the jacuzzi in the ladies locker room! I love the way they have separate areas for adults and children yet it’s very family friendly. Definitely something for everyone!

So nice to relax and unwind at the Spa at Arden Hills. Whether it’s a girls day or treat myself day, it’ll be a great day. Quality massages for firm pressure, or pregnancy massage (highly recommend Alyssa for that), facials, jacuzzi, steam rooms, nice showers. And the little restaurant is good too. I’m sad that they’re closed because of covid.

The bathrooms and common areas are not very clean. Drains, sinks, hot tubs, faucets and things are not kept in good repair. There seems to be a lot of deferred maintenance. When was the last time the outdoor bar area was given a coat of paint or had the deck pressure washed? The landscaping is kept up very well however.

Excellent front desk help. The rooms are beautiful. Top of the line materials when the place was built and the materials have held up well thru the years. You will feel like you are staying at Villa in the South of France.

Beautiful grounds, impressive facility, old world charm in the Villa. The room was spacious and charming. Bathroom amenities were top notch. Whomever planned this room had great attention to details. Looks like the walls were hand plastered...a lost art.

This was such a disappointment. The property was evidently once quite luxurious, but it is in dire need of updating. Everything in the room was either dilapidated or malfunctioning. Even the property amenities were dated. The outdoor hot tub was broken. The restaurant/bar area was always closed. And there is nothing within walking distance to go to. In the room, the space tub would continue to randomly cycle on all day and night. The toilet was broken, the fireplace would not start, the carpets were grimy, the shower door would not completely close and the entire spout would pull from the wall when you try to turn the water on.

Such a BEAUTIFUL wedding venue and working with Kathy was phenomenal!

This resort is a total deal! You get a large, lovely room with a jacuzzi tub, plus a complimentary full service breakfast each morning of your stay. The grounds were lovely with trees, flowers, pools, courts, etc. The staff was warm and helpful.My only complaint was that they couldnt fit me into the spa on a Wednesday..at all :/ I would highly recommend this site.

I had the most amazing stay here. It was an absolute dream the breakfast that they make to order in the morning was delicious, the facilities were beautiful. The restaurant was also tasty. The rooms are beautiful and the whole atmosphere feels like such a secret getaway so close to town. Really wonderful.

Stayed in the Villa for my cousins wedding. Family had all 5 five rooms. Staff was great and very helpful. The breakfast that is served was awesome! Great job Chef!

Beautiful outdoor venue for the wedding

Check in was difficult as there is no one to greet you at the actual bed and breakfast. The concierge is in a whole other building but there is no signage pointing to where they are. I had to call the phone tree and wait to be told I needed to leave the bed and breakfast and walk with my suitcases across the parking lot. Parking is difficult as the spots are very small and require several rights turns to get into. Fireplace in the room didn’t work. Tub leaked. Walls had many paint scuff and large holes behind the headboards. Just felt run down. When we gave our feedback on the fireplace and how we ultimately figured out how to manually turn it on, the staff seemed irritated and curt.

Beautiful inn with well appointed rooms. The fireplace was lovely during the cool evening. We enjoyed the cook to order full breakfast and the personal service. Access to the spa and pool area is a true pleasure. A wonderful adult getaway

We arrived late after the check-in time. The staff at the front made sure to give me the number to security who had my keys and paperwork to check-in. It made it extremely nice ! The Valencia room was beautiful! It has a jacuzzi tub separating the bathroom area from the living space! The balcony and extra space is well worth the extra $30 from the La Topaz room. The only down fall was we couldn’t get the fireplace to turn on. Overall the check in after hours was amazing. Tomorrow we will attend the breakfast and check out the multiple pools and basketball court. It’s beautiful here! We will for sure be coming back!

Had a wonderful wedding there air conditioning went out they took care of everything

It’s a classic beautiful hotel. But the service is not good enough. When I came to the hotel, it was 9:30pm. No one help me to carry the luggages. It took 3 minutes walk to the villa From the front desk. The yard was dark,. It’s hard to find the way. Room is clean, no refrigerator.

Im actually still here right now. My stay is from Friday and check out Sunday. So Im Saturday morning I was suppose to be able to just go downstairs and eat breakfast in the Villas. But the chef never showed and we myself and other guest had to actually call the front desk to let them know he didnt show up was told told at first he should be there shortly 30 minutes later called back was told okay let me check into it. Another 30minutes goes by I call back they say they dont know whats happening and that we can come get a complimentary breakfast from the restaurant across the parking lot at 10 but the breakfast in the Villawas suppose to be from 730 to 930. Which totally screwed up my plans for the day by 2 1/2 hrs. Then I get back to my sir and decide to see if my fireplace would cut on this morning since it dodnt cut on Friday night. And what do you know NOPE that doesnt work I call the desk AGAIN the send maintenance up he tinkers with somethings beneath the fireplace okay cuts on GREAT then after about an hour or so I hear this beeping noise okay its the fireplace I call back again maintenance comes back unplug something okay he leaves the fireplace on. I get ready to leave out my room so I cut off the firplace offwhen I return to my room and try to cut the fireplace on again it doesnt come on. I call the desk yet AGAIN maintenance comes again the 3rd time today but this time he tells me to just open the front of the fireplace myself and cut it on and off underneath with allthatnaaty mess under there and if it starts beeping again to just reach all the way back there and unplug whatever black box that is. He said yeah bc Im about yo go home in a few and its not like fireplace is warming up the room for anything Im like you have got to be kidding so what I just dont need the fireplace and now Im maintenance too after paying $300 a night here I wont be back this is so unacceptable on so many levels. For the price ppl pay here everything needsto be working and if the breakfast is to serve din the Villas the front desk should be aware if the chef doesnt show up and they should reach out to the guest not usbug them to figure out whats going on.

Extreamly beautiful place! Clean rooms, bathrooms, pools and hot tubs. The breakfast service is really nice. Definitely recommend. The only problem is that it is a little pricey. Awesome place though!

We stayed in the Portofino room which was stunning. The bed was roomy but very hard and uncomfortable. The room was clean and had all that we needed. We walked around the property and utilized the gym facilities which were also awesome. We will definitely stay here again!

Was a groom of a wedding held here at the spa. Beautiful place all around, the staff are great and will strive to help you in any way you need. Highly reccomend for any event.

I like Arden Hills, but the locker rooms are pretty run down. If they get a renovation Id give it five stars. They gym is small but clean. The staff are friendly and the pool facilities are amazing...my son loves the kids pool.

Sauna and spa seperated fir gender. Nice facial. Lunch ok but spa lunch options limited. Salmon under cooked.

We stayed in the garden suite at the villas and it was absolutely amazing. The massive shower room and fireplace were perfect for a cool, rainy day. Breakfast by Chef Jerry was the perfect complement. His service was awesome and the food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. Hopefully well be back!!!

We went to get massages there today and it was fabulous. The service was great, the place was clean, the hotel looked really nice and its located in a great neighborhood. Both of our massage therapists did a fantastic job. There were amenities such as hot tub & sauna and a locker room.I would rate this place five stars, but they are way behind technologically. When you book a massage in 2019 you should definitely receive an email confirmation. It is hard to create a contract with cancellation fees over the phone. Please update your systems for 2019.

Very unhappy even though Expedia advertised A restaurant and Bar being available. We were told by management we were not allowed at the restaurant or bar the we had to pay to be members of their Club. We picked Arden hills to be able to stay at one place and not need to go anywhere else. The next morning we called several times to order our Breakfast. Only to receive the answering machine. Never recieving our breakfast that was supposed to be included. And the Handles for the jet spa were broken. Horrible experience. Especially for $400 for the night

As soon as you enter the premises, there was already the welcoming feeling. The flowers lining up the driveway were beautiful. The food was good. The only thing i would. Recommend at the wedding area, it needs more shades. When its as hot, they should provide electric fans or any cooling equipments out there

We came here for the spa and had incredible massages. Shawnda was my therapist and it was so amazing I fell asleep at one point. Hands of gold.

Every year Arden Hills blocks access to all handrails in the club with holiday decorations. Every year I have requested they stop this practice as I need the handrails. I am told Im so sorry every year but the words are never followed up with any actions. I have reached out many times and nothing is done. Arden Hills is a very nice facility but this sends a message to some of us members every year.

The room and overall amenities were great. We did not however, have an ice bucket in our room and were forced to use a trash bag. Also, you are forced to call the front desk with your own phone as the concierge desk listed was not answering their phone. Room was very comfortable and palatial

I enjoyed the place because its really on a very nice location. The location was spacious and although the guests were quite many, my family still enjoyed our private time. Love the friendly staffs too.

A lovely getaway with full access to the club, we greatly enjoyed ourselves. None of the online photos do the rooms justice, they are beautiful and spacious! We enjoyed swimming during the day, and the breakfast chef, Byron, was AMAZING. I recommend going out for lunch/dinner, plenty of great options off site.

Went to a wedding. Beautiful place.

We went to a holiday party for my husbands work yesterday. The building is very pretty outside, especially all done up for the holidays. There was plenty of free parking. The event room we were in was very nice. Decorated for the holidays as well, although understated. Food was very good. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality. There was salmon which my husband loved. The carving roast was delicious! Veggies were tasty as well. The only complaint we had was that the acoustics were echoing in the large room. Hard to hear the music and the microphones kept getting turned off due to where the of button was located.

I love this place. The Serenity Room is so peaceful. Access to the steam room, jacuzzi and showers is great. You can spend a relaxing day here.

Just had a wedding there and they are amazing! Their staff has been nothing but helpful, kind, and prompt with everything! The place is absolutely beautiful and with a wonderful staff, you can’t go wrong! Sandra, Tiffeni, and Christine were all a pleasure to work with and dealt with our sometimes crazy questions and demands with ease. I didn’t get one negative vibe or answer from them. They sure know how to make a bride happy! Thanks Arden Hills! We highly recommend!

The spa service at Arden Hills was to die for. The facial and Swedish massages were so relaxing that I actually fell asleep during them. And the rooms were beautiful and spacious! This was supposed to just be a bonus on our vacation, but it wound up being the main highlight. I cannot recommend Arden Hills enough.

This is my second wedding that I attended at Arden Hills, first time as part of the wedding party. All of the workers were super easy going, courteous, and a delight. Beautiful venue outside for the ceremony and inside was all as it should be. Not sure on the price for weddings or events, but would recommend.

I came here for a wedding. Facility is beautiful. Food, staff, servers, bartenders were great. I did notice it wasnt very handicap friendly and the parking lot seemed small. When ordering a whiskey diet, bartenders should never assume Jameson.

Sigler friendly theres activities for the children exercise equipment is phenomenal the pool is clean this is a great place serving size and Spa highly recommended its an oasis in the center of Carmichael

Tiffeni was fabulous and our day of coordinator, Kristine, made everything run so smoothly. Thank you to all the staff for their hard work! You made our special day seamless!

Came here recently for a company party and had a blast. We were in the gold room and it was beautiful. There was both an indoor and outdoor area, plenty of room in each. The employees all seemed to enjoy their jobs and were very pleasant and accommodating. My only complaint (and this may not be the fault of Arden Hills) would be that anybody could just walk on into the party. I saw this happen twice. The first was a woman and her child. The child was cute dancing to a song but the woman took advantage of the open bar for the short time she was there. The second time somebody came in it was this creepy guy who first stood off to the side watching what was going on. He later took a seat at one of the [now] empty tables and watched everybody from there until the party ended.

Wow, Arden Hills is beautiful. The spa is large with a stunning resting area. The Villas is amazing for overnight guests with opulent rooms and bathrooms. It is small, so only a few guests can be accommodated. Weddings here are unique and elegant, but still affordable relatively speaking. This where to go when you want to feel pampered.

Pricy but if its in your budget there is nothing else like it in Sacramento. Plenty of tennis courts and Olympic sized pool lanes. Plus swim team for kids. The gym is nice even if the weight room is a little small. Shower and sauna facilities are top notch. Restaurant staff is friendly and the food is good.

An absolutely gorgeous Villa! My ONLY complaint was that after using the jetted tub, after turning it off, it kept coming back on periodically. It was rather annoying. But the room was beautiful.

The place is really well maintained and the staff is professional. When you walk in, they have relaxing music playing and the lobby is really comfortable. The staff tries to take care of customers and do a great job at it. We met with the coordinator and she was really helpful. She took us into a meeting room and gave us folders with information about pricing and food options. It was a really pleasant experience!

I am a wedding photographer, and have photographed many weddings at this beautiful venue. This place is perfect for outdoor ceremony and indoor reception - type of wedding. Lots of places for taking photos outdoors. The Arden Hills Resort is pretty easy to get to, with enough parking space. This location is actually a 2-story Villa containing four separate guestrooms. The Barcelona room is beautifully appointed, and includes to-of-the-line lighting, huge walk-in shower/bathroom all tiled, and a gas fireplace. Breakfast is served in the morning downstairs and made-to order by a chef. The Barcelona room is decorated in the colors of the Spanish flag. Parking is on-site and included in the price. Also included is access to the gym on the grounds of the Country Club a short parking lot walk away. Fabulous.

Was visiting this facility because of a work event and could not have been more pleased with our day! The conference room was clean and open. I absolutely love the windows that look at to the pool. The staff was incredibly friendly and made sure we were all comfortable

Great club for training top level competitive tennis players and swimmers. Beautiful venue for weddings and business receptions. The villa has beautiful rooms with Italian Baroque design and lovely breakfast on the veranda in the morning.

Nice place to have events at, but if you dont know where its at and you map it, it will take you to the wrong place. It take you to Misson which is one street too soon. They have an amazing lounge and bar.

Ive been here twice now and it never fails to please. From the moment you drive through its impressive entrance, to reception, to the locker rooms, baths, serene palm covered lounge, fruits, tea, lemon water. What a spa is all about

Was there for a wedding as a bridesmaid.... food was good but cold. Certain rooms did not have properly working a/cs etc. Staff was decent.

Went for a spa day with one of my girlfriends. Got the hot stone massage and organic facial. They were both amazing. The place is very nice and clean. Had lunch at the restaurant there. Food was great as well as the service. With the spa services they allow you in certain areas of the facility all day but other areas are for members only. Only reason I gave 3 stars is we accidentally entered an area attached to the restaurant that was members only and instead of kindly letting us know I overheard one of the girls working rudely say they need to go. That was unacceptable, especially considering the type of money we had both spent there at that point.

Went for a spa day with some friends for a birthday. The ambiance was so relaxing, and our message therapists were definitely better than you would find at Message Envy. They provide a table of water with a hint of cucumber in every corner, and little snacks and tea in their Tea Room. Their jacuzzi was amazing and they have showers with shampoo, conditioner, and soap provided. The downside is that its pricey, but its worth every penny. Will definitely be going back once I save up some more money!

I attended a wedding at Arden Hills Club & Spa. The venue was very pretty however for a wedding I personally dont think its the best place. The courtyard has pillars in the way of actually being able to see the wedding. People sitting in the aisle seats could not see anything unless you were in the front row. It was also close enough to the pool that you could hear children screaming as loud as you could hear the priest. The seating is also right in the sun. The room where we ate was gorgeous with a large beautiful chandelier in the middle of the room over the dance floor but the food made me and my so sick I threw up when I got home and she was feeling nauseous. The service the employees provided was good but it seemed a little under staffed.

Visited for a wedding. Lovely grounds and venue. The staff was professional and courteous. I do wish there had been an alternate entrance/exit to the room where the ceremony was held, as the only door was in the very front. Overall a lovely evening!

Superb venue ... parking was horrible today!

They ran out of steak, but breaded chicken was good, place is clean. Janitor was not happy there yelled an expletive in bathroom, but other staff friendly. Bar staff was accommodating.

My wife and I came for a wedding. The Villa was beautiful. Food was terrific. Our room was top notch. I really enjoyed the therapeutic tub. Staff was friendly. Our breakfast at the lounge was delicious and the service was great.

Im not a member of the club here, but I was gifted a massage at this spa for my birthday last year. The Swedish massage was an amazing experience! You are pampered from the moment you walk through the door and treated like a most valued guest and customer. The massage therapists are very courteous, professional, and respectful and are willing to chat if you like and are also happy to be quiet if you prefer to zone out and relax during the experience. The facilities are beautiful here and first rate, and I greatly enjoyed the experience! Recommended highly if you are looking for some pampering or beauty services. When I was engaged, we were looking at the Arden Hills wedding packages and those facilities and packages are lovely as well.

The facility itself was extremely nice ad well appointed. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food served at the function was only average.

Our wedding experience was horrible. We had hidden costs and missing pages from our contract and all we got on the last week before the wedding was a $1800 bill and a sorry for not giving us the total before hand. On our wedding day they forgot to bring out our drinks for the guests, till I had to get up from my chair and ask them to bring them out. What a great way to spend my wedding day! Please look around before you jump into this place.

Its a very nice spa. The only downside is the difficulty in scheduling appointments for non-members. They fill up quickly.

My friend held his wedding here. Staff was super nice and all the food was really good!

The venue is beautiful and the staff was nice and helpful but the bar was an issue. The organizer did not pay for an open bar witch is not an issue but the way they charged was. My first drink was $7.50 then later on I ordered the exact same drink and was charged $8. Not that Im complaining about 50 cents but changing the prices as the night went on seems a little shady.

Visited the salon for my wedding hair and makeup trial. They offered me some tea while I was waiting which was nice. They listened to my requests and did a wonderful job. Because Im getting married there, the trials were comped which was really great.

Everything was beautiful. The grounds were nice, the part of the Bed and Breakfast was wonderfully landscape that well definitely revisit. The food was not too bad. The pool appeared relaxing but we did not have use of it. The only drawback was the servers kept wlKing in front of the cameras as we tried to take pictures of the guest of honor. A few servers had on tennis shoes but for tge most part, they were friendly, helpful and they never said no to any requests. We will be going back for more family events.

Arden hills is a very luxurious place on first glance however when you pay attention to details some things are off for example there was a lot of debris in the pools. The linens to the cabanas were stained. Overall however the staff if very pleasant and friendly. I overall enjoyed my experience

This is a Beautiful place for weddings, but bring your own refrigerator for all your flowers, bouquet, biotinairs, etc. Some of our guest should up a few minuets early and was told they have to stay in the lobby, rude. Two rooms were rented to get ready for the wedding, the guys room was a little noisy, so the call the girls room to complain, they should have call the guys room. Then we was not told a head of time of construction being done at the house we were getting ready in, so no parking at the house, Carrie everything through the parking lot behind the house. Make sure you have a D.J. that works with the wedding coordinator, so things will run smoother, and better on time.

The venue itself is elegant and classy, but we werent impressed with the food. This is our 3rd time attending an event in one of the reception halls at Arden Hills and the food hasnt been great any of those times.
