Got a VIP entry and reserved upstairs booth on Friday night at the minimum spending $1,500 with a short waiting on right side of line and had a coordination by the hostess & waitress, it was worth. Thanks Exchange, loved all you guys!
Used to go here a lot for all types of events. They’ve had some major djs as guest. The Halloween parties were fun. The crowd is a decent mix. The bartenders make good drinks, something I really miss now that I’m on the east coast. It’s still one of those places I’d probably still go to when I’m in the area.
It seemed cool when we got there but it kept getting more and more crowded with everybody and anybody and the music just turned into pop with the same transitions in between. The only songs that got played through completely was everything that has been overplayed on the radio in the last year. Shoot I didnt even order a drink but I bet that would have been hell with how crammed in we were
Good times, crowded easily which is not a bad thing. Who wants to be in an empty club. Nice establishment and clean restrooms.
Won’t ever go here again. The management does not know how to conduct business. All the reviews here are accurate. Never been more disrespected.
Complete waste of time. Website is false advertising. We selected District 30 for New Years Eve based on the website advertising electronic/EDM. Imagine our disappointment when all the DJ played was 90s RnB. If I could give negative stars I would. I do not recommend this place too anyone.
To confirm what others are saying, racist place, last time I was in Sacramento I was walking by this place and a couple black dudes were having an argument with the bouncer who was refusing them entry, claiming over and over with no detail we have a dress code. Finally he said they needed to be wearing collared shirts, but a group of white guys had just walked out and 2 of them were not wearing collared shirts, so, k.
D30 has been hosting our art showcases for the last 7 months and I really cant begin to describe the level of professionalism theyve provided for us. Each of their staff members have been incredibly helpful and friendly. From what Ive observed, the manager Dave is very well liked by his staff. He has been nothing but accommodating since the beginning of our contract with them. You can tell he takes pride in his place of work as well as in his employees. As I said, all of their staff members have been wonderful to work with, but there is one who has gone over and beyond. Shane--jack of all trades, has been such an asset during our shows at d30. Without his knowledge and expertise, I sincerely doubt our shows would run as smoothly as they do. Working with one artist can be challenging, but working with 20+ who each have their own vision is a huge feat!If youre looking for a genuinely welcoming, friendly and fun place to have a drink, THIS IS IT. THANK YOU, D30!!
Decor needs a little updating, but a nice space all considered. The location is amazing, but mostly because theyre right next door to Pizza Rock! District 30 does have a lot of cool theme parties, shows, and they host the I AM RAW Art Shows sometimes. All in all, a nice place to hang out and definitely go if your event is there :)
Worst experience ever!!! The reviews below are true! 5 of us went to the club last night and the bouncer would not let in one of our friends because he had a rip in his jeans. However he would let in my husband who had ripped jeans. My friend was Hispanic by the way. This bouncer was picking and choosing who he wanted to let in. A guy he knew with sweat shorts was able to skip the whole line and dap him up then get into the club. Then another guy that he knew with ripped jeans was allowed in. Also some girl with a dress on and vans was allowed in. When we confronted the bouncer about why he was letting in these other people he had this dumb smug look on his face. Dont go here people! Way better choices around then this trash club!
Cover but no one is here
Theres so much potential here! The bar serves bad drinks (either weak, not right portions [never enough booze], or just the wrong drink), the bar tenders have iffy customer service, the music is way too loud for how small the space is, the smoking area outside is so small that you basically smoke a cig with everyone second hand... yeah not my favorite. 2 stars because they get good talent there every week
Love the new DJs that rotate in
One of the best clubs if youre looking for EDM music downtown.
Music was litty, Drinks affordable, vip host are cute. Definitely a fun night.
Went there for New Year - waste of money. Customer service is minus 10 stars. DJ - my grandpa would probably do a better job...the guy just played rap and rnb most of time. The place was super dirty and overcrowded. Did not enjoy. Worst club Ive been to, and Ive been to many so far.
Very rude. My group and I were on the guest list for my 21st birthday (last September), and I was personally messaging an employee for the dress code (which he never gave to me after asking several times), and other details, and when we arrived they wouldnt let me in. They said I was indecently dressed. Untrue, I was fine. They almost ruined my night :( but I heard that Faces wasnt too far away, and I heard it was fun (even for straight people like us lol). So we went there. Best decision of the night. They made me feel super welcome and my guests and I had a fantastic time!!!!!!! Faces nightclub is the best....District 30 is the worst as far as respect goes, and I told everyone that night not to go there because they are rude lol. They lost my business and everyone elses that I know. Had they have been nicer about it, and perhaps responded to my email about the evening, maybe I would have been nicer too.
Classy, good music, great drink prices.
Horrible customer service to the club. Please do not go there
Worst Bar Ever!!! Rude Bartenders and the bouncers were more into the 19 year old chick at the door then they were about takeing care of there customers!! I will never go back!!
The bouncers here are rude and racist, wouldnt let me in because I had one cuff in my jeans.. what an excuse right.. and when you look around you see multiple people with the same jean type being allowed in, its very frustrating when it happens all the time in sac.. oh and also got called ghetto to my face to top it off.. if you knew me youd know thats blasphemy. Dont go here
There is no better sound than District 30! If youre looking for a good time, this is the place to go!
Just needs some more hip hop
Nice place to have a few drink
Techno music after we asked if they played hip hop... for 4songs smfh (thats why we came) NO will NEVER GO BACK, AND SPREADING THE WORD!
Bartender Overcharged my card double the tip i left. Drinks were so watered down it’s ridiculous. Don’t go here
Small but cool
Ok not big crowd
Its a small club and it gets really crowded.
I lost my phone at the club and tracked, its still in the club and its closed on sunday... no one picking up the call. What should I do? My phones battery going to died sooner
Not very friendly. Small venue and high priced drinks. Bouncers not people friendly at all! People are what make your business guys!
Bottle service
The music hasnt been very good
