Amazing place. Nicely appointed, very comfy bed, everything you need. We didn’t use the grills on the property but a lot of people were and they seemed very nice. Quiet and close to everything

Great location and good size room. Pretty grounds and all the amenities such as full size kitchen and washer/dryer really come in handy.

Beautiful property a few steps from the main drag. Staff is very friendly, and offered good information on the area.Rooms are huge, clean, and cozy. If you feel like staying in kitchen has everything you need, and markets close enough to get food.The beds are very comfortable I slept like a baby. Wifi is free and fast!

Quiet, pretty grounds and great location. My daughter really liked the size of room, kitchen, bathroom, etc. Kind of like a fancy efficiency apartment which definitely worked for the week. Great decor .

Yes! Stay here! Phenomenal. Staff is so friendly, accommodating and helpful. Rooms were super clean and so nicely put together. The balcony was amazing! Cant wait to stay here again.

Easy to late night check in. Very comfortable. Our condo was nicely decorated and furnished with everything that we needed for our stay! There were shops and restaurants to go out to at night within walking distances! The trip was well worth it!

This was a very nice alternative to a hotel room. These are condos and are located 1 block north from the main street of boutiques and shops. The condo we stayed in was clean, charming, and cozy. It was a one bedroom, one bathroom with a king size bed, and a spacious bathroom that had a stackable washer & dryer. The sofa in the living room was also a pull-out bed. There was also a full-size refrigerator/freezer, electric stove-top, oven, microwave & dishwasher. All kitchen appliances were available for use. The condo has a gas fireplace located in the living room, and even had an updated assortment DVD movies along with card & board games. Outdoors, there are three gas grills that guests are allowed to use along with a fire-pit that was lit every evening. We plan on staying in this same place when we return to Ruidoso, NM.

Cannot say enough good things about this place! Kinda dont want to because I feel like it may be a hidden gem...1. Location - one block from the main drag.2. Price - less than a hotel and so much better.3. Accommodations - we stayed in Whispering Pines which is small dog friendly with large rooms and is pleasantly decorated. Theres a large balcony which would be perfect for warmer weather. Loved that they provided so many towels and had a carbon monoxide detector.4. Property - wonderful landscaping with gas grills and a gas fire pit that is turned on every evening.We came for 4 nights over Christmas and couldnt have been happier. Already planning a trip back and my new life goal is to buy one of these condos.

The place is classy, you will pony up the money though, it is not cheap.

This condo was amazing! We had a wonderful stay at Ruidoso River Resort. We could not believe we got such a beautiful condo at such a nice price. Its fully furnished with dishes and everything even a washer and dryer so it was so much more comfortable than staying at a hotel. We loved waking up to the sound of the river each morning, and the bed was so comfortable. Our condo was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities of home. We enjoyed coffee in the morning and margaritas in the evening on our deck. Its within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Eat at the Hunt and Harvest if you stay here, its great food and drinks and just a couple minutes walk. We will definitely stay here again. The booking was easy and great customer service. Staying here made our Ruidoso vacation that much more enjoyable.

We liked the closeness to mid-town and being able to walk to shops and restaurants easily. We also liked the secluded private feeling we got from staying there.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom condo for the weekend. Great condo with plenty of room. 6 adults and 5 little kids. Kitchen was roomy and fully stocked. Our balcony was huge and overlooked the stream. The furniture and beds were very comfortable and made for a very relaxing stay. Great place! We will stay he again!

Absolutely beautiful room, spacious, great mid town location, next to river/creek (sat outside and had breakfast listening to the water). They have you be relatively quiet at 10 pm, which I loved. I will absolutely stay here next time I visit Ruidoso. No question about it.

Great Condos! very spacious but cosy. the 3 Bedroom was very comfortable, it had a nice livingriom with a gas chimmeney, private balcony, 3 full bathrooms and a fully equiped kitchen. The gardens had a great firepit, 3 gas grills for bbq, a water cascade and good landscape. Good chairwheel access with elevator for the 3 floors. It is located in a very nice area at walking distance (2 short blocks) from the main street from Ruidoso. I really recomend it for families.

Very nice place inside & out. The furnishings to the landscaping is in excellent taste. The river & mountain view was enjoyable. The condo setup was spacious & relaxing with fireplace, comfortable bed, large bathroom, full kitchen. Our biggest complaint was the dirty dishes in the cabinets & drawers and the bath towels did not feel clean. After handwashing some dishes & doing laundry vacation was good.

In this little village, the River Resort is a great place to relax and enjoy. Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. The management group is helpful and professional. Highly recommended.

Perfect location! Walking distance to the heart of the main drag! Shopping, restaurants, tap rooms. Peace of the River is just right for a week or weekend with your favorite couple or bestie. Two king beds (that could use another pillow or so), everything to cook whatever you want, lovely deck with sounds of the river 24/7, no need for a sound machine to sleep, just open the windows and done!Ruidoso River Resort will be the only accomodations going forward!

It was a last minute trip and everything went well. No problems checking in after closing hours. Check out was simple. Loved the rooms, scenery and location. I will definitely recommend to others.

Very nice, clean and quiet property. Within walking distance to the Main Street in Ruidoso.

The staff was very helpful and the room was very nice and clean when we arrived. We had an issue with the A.C. and within the hour the maintenance guy was in and out and fixed it almost immediately. Will definitely be returning the time we’re in Ruidoso!

We had a GREAT time until someone with a dog came in next door. When they left their unit the dog barked and whined continuously for hrs!!!! Reported to the office 3 different times and it seemed nothing was ever done about it. After office told us the first time calling that wasn’t even a pet friendly unit.

The Ruidoso River Resort Was Totally Awesome... I Totally Enjoyed My Stay and Would Love To come Back Again. AND TO HAVE THE SAME ROOM. IT WAS SO PEACEFUL AND RELAXING. ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL... I RATE THE RUIDOSO RIVER RESORT A 5.

These condos have a beautiful landscape with a waterfall that creates a romantic atmosphere. Last time I was thier I saw a marriage proposal. The condos are beautiful with amenities fit for royalty. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Beautiful property, but my whole family except me smokes, so they cant smoke anywhere except down 3 flights around a fire pit in the wind. Theyll never stay with me again.

This Was An Awesome Place To Stay! We Had No Problems. The Room Was Clean and comfortable. It was located near food, shopping and the river was beautiful. We will definitely stay here again and definitely recommend to others.

Clean place, very well maintained.Management was easy to deal with and very accommodating, would gladly stay here again. I thought the nightly rate was very fair.

My wife and I were looking for a quiet place to stay for a weekend trip to Ruidoso. The grounds are very well kept and the rooms were very nice. Walking distance to the shopping area. Everyone at the check in desk was really nice. The resort may be slightly more expensive than other options, but for what you get, we feel that it was well worth it. We will definitely return!

Have stayed three or four different times, we always keep coming back. Nestled in the beautiful upper canyon, its always a treat! Easy check in, easy check out, clean cabins, deer strolling by, babbling brook within ear shot. You dont need anything else!

Unit is nice but wifi is so slow it is useless. Dvd remote is broken and cable service is constantly interrupted. Water pressure is terrible. Supplies provided are minimal at best.Unit was clean and complex is nice, just a few things you take for granted that did not measure up.

Loved this place AGAIN!

Amazing place to stay!!

Fall of 2016 Just a awesome place to stay. We stayed in a 2 bedroom and the total amount of room was amazing. The back deck had a gorgeous view and we would sit out on the deck at night and drink and talk for hours. The room was extremely clean and well kept and were planning another get away with couples and plan on staying in one of the 3 bedrooms this time.

This was our first family trip to Ruidoso and I am so glad we chose to stay here. We are in the Billy The Kid Condo and it is Amazing! It is beautiful! This will be our new family vacation spot from now on!!! Love it!!!

Dishes and counter tops were dirty.

This is an awesome place to stay. Walking distance from town, so the shops and eating places are literally like a block way! We stayed in my sister in laws cabin, which was amazing, thanks Roxanne!! The view is so gorgeous and the cabins are equipped with a fireplace which is a must during a winter vacation!! They have a bbq grill down in the center of the cabins, plus a hot tub that is just the best spot for relaxing. They also have individual patios per cabin!

Upscale condos, very well appointed. Easy walking distance to mid-town. Have stayed here several times, and will continue to do so when visiting Ruidoso.

Enjoyed our stay. Pretty grounds. a/c didnt work. Both rooms we woke up warm- wasnt sweltering but at $330/night a/c should be working. Didnt get compensation, but we were allowed late check out. Dog friendly.

Great place to relax with the family.

I really enjoyed my stay here! Check in and check out were both very smoothe. Very spacious in the living areas. The courtyards and view of the river are very peaceful and proximity to the shops were a plus. I plan on going back.

I could not have been more pleased with Ruidoso River Resort. The price ws certainly fair, the rooms very clean, and the appliances worked well. As an 83 year old, the stairs leading to the 3rd floor were challenging to say the least

The condo was SO nice! It was clean and just great. Everything was high quality. I also loved that they let me bring my two small dogs without charging extra. The river view was underwhelming and there wasnt a way to walk next to it while by the condos unless you walked across the street. And all the condos were very close together with a kind of small courtyard area and there wasnt a lot of good places to walk my dogs. But mostly I was just go happy about how nice the interior of the condo was! And it is so close to the best shops which was great!

Beautiful accommodations, comfortable, tasteful and sweet connection to natural world. Outside deck, overlooking the outdoor fire, was very nice touch.

Everything about RRR is wonderful. From the beautiful rooms to the amazing staff, so close to everything you could need. We will be back soon.

Ive stayed at various places in Ruidoso as a child and into my adult life too - Ruidoso River Resort is by far the best!Quiet, clean, very child friendly - worth the price for my family with 4 small children!

Peace and tranquility!

The staff was very nice when both booking the stay over the phone and checking in. Our room was beautiful with nice furniture, anything we might need in the kitchen, and even a nice balcony and a fireplace. I would definitely stay there again.

Great get away. Riverside balcony.just off midtown shopping. Walk half a block to all the stores . Fully furnished condos for the price of a hotel room. Hot tub. Grassycourtyard with firepit and gas grills.

I went to the wrong room by mistake but my key worked I was in someone else’s condo that was scary who knows if somebody else’s key would’ve worked in my condo

My husband made our reservations at least a few weeks before check in time. He reserved the room that was supposed to be the most comfortable me and at check-in we were given a completely different room. This weekend was a special weekend for us because we are celebrating our first wedding anniversary and a getaway from our toddlers and I couldnt take a relaxing bath because the water was cold. There was literally 2 minutes of semi warm water before it got colder! The good thing about this place is that it is within walking distance of downtown and the bed is super soft!Room # 3203Next day: I told the guy about the hot water problem and when he checked it one of the elements was out. He moved us to a different room which Im very thankful for and knocked off part of the bill.

Nice place

Filthy. Old soap from previous client was left in both bathrooms. Blankets were wadded up and crammed in the closet. Unit smelled like dogs. Kids running around above our unit.

We only got to stay 3 days...but Im pretty picky..and we really thought it was a really nice place..the grounds were really nice as well .I felt like I was in a cabin but blocks from all the shops...hope we can stay again

One of two great Lodge/Hotel style places in town. RRR is condominium community that is set up as vacation rentals when the owners are not using them. these is a professional cleaning staff that takes care of resetting the condos between guest and therefore adds to the cost of the stay. The atmosphere of each unit is a little different and you really need to read the welcome book to get the most out of the stay. the kitchen and bathrooms in each unit are very functional and spacious. if you choose this location for you visit you will not be disappointed there is a hot tube and a fire pit fro general you and balconies that are lovely and peaceful. staying here one will make you a believer in the beauty of Ruidoso
