Nice cinema with an excellent promotion on Tuesday. Ticket of $14 is half price. So we paid $14 for 2 ticket. Also food is good.

You get a free ticket for your birthday if you sign with the reward card (which is free).Dine in option, while watching the movies, is available.Parking in the structure is very convenient. Valet parking is also an option and is cheap.Bowling allies, bar, restaurant, and party planning is available as well.

We come here occasionally. This is a nice theater with a number of screens. They have the recliner seats and are very spacious. The theater is clean and well kept. They offer a wide variety of snacks, drinks and adult beverages at the bar. Parking can be a challenge, but arrive early. If you are hungry there are some great restaurants on Main street.

I am a school bus driver I drive the biggest school bus available the parking here is pay only. Im already bringing 30 to 40 kids plus you want me to pay to park in a parking lot thats not bus friendly. I wouldnt be complaining if the staff were a little more helpful with giving me adequate information on where to park. Otherwise the kids did go get to enjoy there movie. The facilities were clean from what i could see. So besides the parking no other problems

Awesome experience. Nice facility. Theater 11 was where we watched the movie and it was super comfortable. We sat in the front row couch seats. They worked great for us with 2 kids. A little hard on the neck.Super wide screen.

On a few occasions we have dined there. Their veggie burgers were good at one point, now I dont know whos cooking. The other day I asked for a veggie burger on lettuce with everything and they brought me out a dry patty. I took that back with the quickness. After three long wait of receiving my food, I didnt want it any longer I ate my husbands food instead because he didnt like what he had because it was too early. They took away three activities so its pretty plain now.

We were in one of the rented theaters which was nice the rest of my experience left a bit to be desired I came in and asked where the theater we needed was and the person at the counter just pointed at the stairs basically we had to ask her to be more specific. Then I went back down to order bacon with cheese fries they took at least 10mins it wasnt busy ot was Monday night and they burned the fries to the paper I couldnt eat them very sad.

Great experiences each time I have gone for private events and movie screenings! I even hosted my own screening for The Brian Banks Movie; Tall Girl; and A Wrinkle In Time!

This theater is great to watch a movie or you can bowel. The seats are very huge and recline and are comfortable and luxurious. The place is well kept and clean. Also you can enjoy a nice meal here. They have veggie burgers. The parking is a little bit small but you can also find parking, it might take a little bit longer... The staff are nice and helpful... it’s a good, fun place for families and kids or just have fun with friends.

Not pleased with our matinee experience today. The concession stand was disgusting. Spilled food everywhere and no staff in sight even attempted to clean the mess. Could not locate management to discuss. Plus, the recliner chair was broken. Would not recline... I choose Emagine for the experience but if this is the new norm, ill find another theater to patronize.

The Emagine Theater in Rochester Hills, MI is one of the best places to get away, relax and enjoy a great movie. The refreshment plaza caters to both regular and adult libations as well as almost anything else to accompany those which adds to the delight of the movie going experience. Our thanks to Paul Glantz for such an outstanding facility in our area.

I like the movies here. And the atmosphere is nice. I only dislike that you cant bowl here without a full party reservation anymore. It was nice having a one stop place for a Saturday night adventure. Now you cant do that anymore.

The ambiance of this place is amazing. Its so convenient because its in the neighborhood. Their prices are reasonable and employees are friendly. I visited the bowling alley once here. Its so nice having a bowling and movies under one roof!

Small parking lot, but ramp across the street usually has spots open. Typical movie fare with high prices. Fairly clean. Huge comfy chairs, we got the recliners. Screen was clear, sound was good.

I took my son to see frozen 2, and we had a great time! The tickets were reasonably priced, and the popcorn and pop were huge. The reclining seats were so comfy and plenty big enough for my little guy to snuggle up to me in when he started to get sleepy. I hadnt been to a theater in years, because I never felt comfortable in the seats. Not the case at emagine! We will definitely be back for more mommy and son dates in the future.

When I first got there to get my tickets I didnt feel they were very hospitable, but then I got to the person who checks the tickets and she made me feel so much better. The lady who took my order and served me was very nice. They are a big asset to the team there. Thank you again

The Bar/Grille... concession food. The food was terrible extremely greasy. It is a nice venue but this is the place where the youth gather. I know they need a place to go. I just was not expecting them to be in the bar grille area. Thats where all the games are.

Caught 10:30 am showtime! Best to park in structure and get validation for 1/2 off inside the theater. Line for refreshments moved quickly after a few minutes and of course those super comfy reclining seats..just a little too early for cocktails though.

Pretty good entertainment center with options to watch movies alongside dining and bowling. Also the location is perfect to explore other options. Screens here are pretty good too

This is a great place to go see a movie, have a party, do a little bowling, enjoy snacks, have something to heat...its a great place to enjoy yourself and have quality time with family and friends.Parking here is plentiful in the parking lot or in the parking structure nearby. Parking fees are reasonable. The theater is kept up very well. It looks new each time I visit it and I have been attending for some time.If you are looking for a quality venue for a community event or any other large style event this should definitely be at the top of your list to check out. The service here is professional and kind. The services and activities here are interesting and varied. The food is fresh and delicious. Their snack bar, for movies and such, is reasonably priced and offers many fine choices.

Saw a special screening on the top floor in a smaller theater. It was REALLY JUST TOO COOL TOO! It was a documentary about Depeche Mode so enjoying my drink, lying back in the reclining heated chair with my Sister.. We really had a terrific time! Just dont expect to get through the concession / food counter very fast. Especially if theres a kids flick playing in the theater. WOW, IT WAS NUTS! ALSO PARKING was a pain. There are meters, no ideal for a film.. or valet. USE IT. TRUST ME. Thanks for reading this ♡

I love this theater. Its a bit pricier than its local competitors, but totally worth the extra fee bucks for the awesome chairs and great concessions. There is a bar inside too!

Parking in Royal Oak sucks!! The theater doesnt have its own parking lot, so you end up paying to park. Other than that, the theater was nice, clean. Friendly staff.

I attended a screening and prior to the start of my movie there was a party. The staff didnt clean up much after they packed everything up. There was no one to serve us so we had to leave to get snacks.I like how we have control of the movie to stop, rewind, pause etc. Very intimate setting if you want to have a small party. Their bathrooms werent clean at all. I would come back for another movie screening but not for a regular movie.

This is one of my absolute favorite movie theaters. I love their lounge style recliners and all of the theaters are clean and well maintained. They even have a five dollar movie deal all day on Tuesdays. That, along with a great rewards program, its easy to earn points for free popcorn, drinks and even free tickets..

Cold. Dress warmly even in the summer, this place is freezing. Great recliner seats, food and drinks delivered to your seat makes this place special. But the couple next to us was smart and brought a blanket to keep themselves warm. Another ding for the Emagine theater is how hard it is to find the right room to be in. Signage could be improved.

Super comfortable seats. Great movie experience overall. Clean, great sound, with a lot of room. Temperature control is also on point.

My wife and I had a great experience at this location. The valet parking was horrible, however. It took us over an hour to get our car. If you park yourself you will give it 5 stars.

Great place to sit down and watch a movie. You will pay a little more here than you would at your average theater but its worth it for the comfortable, clean and modern seats and facilities. Beer is a little expensive and I have not yet tried the food.

This is a great theater seats are comfy. Prices are pretty much on par with everything else. However its a premium to park there. Theres no cheap way to do it, so we tend to go to other theaters because we just dont want the hassle. The screens and sound are great tell me about the concessions are pretty much more expensive than other theaters in the area. They do have some cool seating options.the Detroit taco company is right there so that takes a little bit of the sting of the parking costs.

This use to be one of my favorite places to go but as of today Me and my family will not be returning. We were there for the 6:30 movie. We arrived at 6:00 and the box office was closed and we had to wait 40 minutes in the consession line for our tickets. There were no food runners available to bring our food so we couldn’t wait because our movie had already started. I will not be returning

Food was good, bartender was great. The line at concessions post closing box office was a little egregious, food took an hour to be delivered to seat at a slow time of night. Bathrooms were not clean. Garbage taken away before everyone left theater leaving us to bring our garbage home. Concessions were rude to my girlfriend. I find Emagine Canton to be leagues better from a customer service standpoint.

Experience was great! The sound was perfect, picture was great, and its always nice to watch a movie in a reclining chair. Recommend visiting City Ramen before or after a movie!

We go out of our way to go here. Always clean and comfortable. Extra stuff like bowling alley and bar right in the theater. Prices are on par with other theaters.

A very nice theater with reclining seating. So comfortable. Great snacks other than your standard popcorn and candy. There is also a restaurant available for a meal before or after a movie. And bowling for whenever you want to make an entire outing of it.

Its a nice, upscale feeling theater. Two complaints that keep me from 5 stars, though.1. The exit sign in the theater made a red glow on the screen2. The mens bathroom was really gross.

My favorite movie theatre in Metro-Detroit. I love the super sized screening room. Very comfortable seating. I grab a beer almost every time. My teenager loves the seasonings for the popcorn. Always clean. The bathrooms could always use a little bit more love but other than that no complaints. Good job getting rid of that bowling alley.

It’s very convenient to have this theatre in downtown Royal Oak as it makes dinner and a movie a fabulous experience. The seats are better than any other theatre nearby. The bar staff is friendly and the the overall ambiance is relaxed. I would recommend this theatre for a great movie going experience.

Today I went to see Bad boys 3 great movie. We as a group selected this theater hoping for and exceptional experience, because of the quality of the theater and location. Unfortunately the service was terrible the entire lobby was filthy popcorn all over the floor. It looked as though it wasnt cleaned from the day before. The cashier and behind counter person also were rude and very unpleasant to deal with. This was my First time at Emagine and in all fairness I would have probably had a better experience at belair Detroit. The actual movie was excellent and comfortable seating. I give it a 2 out of 10 on location and service.

This theater is amazing! My wife and I came here for something to do on our anniversary and to our surprise this theatre was amazing in every way !

Change isnt always good. So in the past year they got rid of the bowling alley and reduced the menu to quick eats BOO. Not only is the menu reduced but on a Saturday night they have one person working the bar and the food service. its TERRIBLE What used to be a great place to come and spend a whole afternoon or evening is now a place that is like every other theater....go in watch the movie and leave. Sad cuz it used to be so much more.

Its a newer movie theater. The seats are nice and recline with motors, you can have a beer in the theater, and stadium seating has revolutionized the movie-going experience to a large degree. This is all standard now. We live in the future.The only thing I have to complain about is services at this point, which is where this theater is lacking. If youre looking to buy popcorn or a quick snack, go for it. If youre looking to purchase anything else off the menu, like Ultimate Nachos for instance, be prepared to miss the first 20 minutes of your movie. The most frustrating part about this: my order had been ready for at least 10 minutes, and no one checked to see if it was ready.There needs to be more people staffing the counter, or there needs to be a process where the cooks notify people that food is ready.Also, do not get the chicken nachos. I think its reconstituted/rehydrated, and tasted less like chicken, and more like tofu.

Been here a few times, the theatre is always very clean and comfortable. I also like the olive oil popcorn, its good. My seats have always been taken everytime i arrive, also the area has been declared to have lead in the water and yet they charge $4 a bottle (shame shame).

The theatre at night is so different than during the matinee. Since you are forced to pay more for an evening show, youd think they would work harder at keeping it clean. Definitely much dirtier than I have ever seen an Emagine Theatre. I witnessed a staff member using foul language talking to another staff member in front of children. Our theatre smelled of vomit and our seats were not working. A manager took care of the smell and the seats but I was disappointed to even have to request a manager. I hope Emagine does not go down the same road as theatres before them that are no longer in business.

2-14-20 Love this place. Although youll unfortunately at least one time I kid you not. Run into someone else a couple, friends or whatever. On a busy night of a new opening movie. At least someone will experience what me and my fiance did. The old school I bought this seat also, but cant prove you did. Once we show our proof the other party has no choice but to now show there tickets after refusing several times only to find out there movie was 3hrs ago? People it is 2020. Please do not come to a nice theatre with that Foolishness. The people of society who Do the right thing by purchasing there tickets legally would like to ask for you to stay your cheap, lieing behinds at home and do not come to the movies taking our seats and making us miss a movie we actually paid for because you want to lie and be ignorant. Emagine when this happens again because Im sure it will to someone else put the individuals out when they refuse to show tickets or cant prove they swapped tickets for another movie time. This helps your other customers at ease and we can enjoy what we PAID FOR. thank you3-9-20 In response to Emagine. Thank you for responding back. We did inform the staff, and the customers refused to show there stubs after 10mins of the gentleman nicely asking. They eventually did and were asked to move. We did come back after that to see a different movie and it happened again, but different people. We were able to handle that situation ourselves that time peacefully. Its just unfortunate that people are just not honest these days. However I thank you again for great customer service and your response. We appreciate your feedback.

Awesome experience! It was the first time I ever visited this theater. I was very impressed. Excellent customer service, competitive prices, clean, comfortable reclining chairs. No complaints! Would definitely go see more movies there.

Was nice,the food was good for snack foods. I had the pizza and fries and chicken. I also liked the fact that they will bring your food to you so you dont miss the movie.

I used the bowling room. It was very nice. The service was good. One lane did break down and it took 20mins to fix other than that an overall good experience.

Tried to call and speak to a live person......mission impossible. All I got is automated run around or phone ringing and nobody answered. I just have a simple question for veterans day free movie. Is the movie MIDWAY included for Veterans. Simple question, impossible to get answer.

By far the dirtiest movie theater I have ever been to. The floors were sticky, the concession area was a total disaster. No straws next to no napkins, the place was totally unorganized. The popcorn horrible, like it hadnt been touched all day. The theater chairs were not even close to clean we were in theater 5. Looked like someone took a tub of popcorn and tossed it up in the air. The chairs were covered in the oil/butter from the popcorn. Only gave it a 2 because they had snocaps in stock. Will not be returning

Ill never go to this theater again. Movie starting at 11pm, showed up at 11:20 and we cant ring up anything because we closed everthing. I say a movie is playing we just want to see it nope everything is closed. Get better workers.

I used to love it here. The bowling alley was so great and the staff was so professional the first few years. But it has really gone down hill. The bowling alley is gone. The staff is just a bunch of kids who don’t really take their jobs seriously and the place smells like weed. I don’t usually go here anymore.

We held a corporate event of about 50-60 people in the High Roller Room & Skybox Room last night. Our team was able to bowl, play pool and shuffleboard. The space was great, the staff was even better and the food choices and taste was great! Event planner, Kasia, was phenomenal! I didnt give her a ton of time, but she was super-responsive and extremely pleasant the entire way! I have already recommended this venue to other organizations within my company for their events and we will definitely be back!

The theater with the seats spoil you. But Id bring my own blanket to snuggle under, why buy one there, when you can bring ur own. Buy you a drink with the money instead.

As should have been expected, going to a movie theater in Downtown Royal Oak (other than The Main Art) Theatre was big hassle. Firstly, you have to pay to park, which is absurd. But, not only do you have to pay to park. You have to download an app and then enter your license plate number (thats so they can ticket someone else who might park there with time left from a previous parker.) Then the theatre is stuffed behind the aforementioned Main Art Theatre and next to some hipster vegan apartment building. The place has a cramped claustrophobic air to it. Finally, the theatre has assigned seating. So I couldnt get a seat in the same row as my friends, who arrived a minute before I did. In the end, they got their money refunded and we all went up Main Street to the Troy MJR Theatre. I suggest they you do the same. Addendum: The matinee price at the Emagine Theater is $9 where as the matinee price at the MJR Troy (with its luxurious free parking as far as the eye can see) is only $7.
