Maybe Im a bit biased since I am not a big ice skater, but its a fun location. Defiantly check it out on New Years Eve!

Fun time. Lots of people there and the line to get your ticket to go outdoor skating was long. The ice was in really good shape and it was all well taken care of.

Amazing skatin facility for families or for a pick up hockey game. The ice is perfect every time and it extends the outdoor skating scene by 3 or 4 months. The hockey rinks are set up for all levels of skill from first timers all of the way up to highly advanced players.

Good for all things involved with ice.

One of the best rinks in the Twin cities. 4 hockey rinks surrounded by a large speed skating oval. Lots of room, even during busy sessions, and a great place to meet people during open hockey

Great place to skate. The ice quality is better than some of the other indoor skating rinks in the area.

Great facility: well maintained ice. Skate sharpening, warmed viewing areas and accessible parking. Outside has extended season stick & puck time (compared to local/lake weather dependent rinks). The arena is well maintained with a wide range of events, games and skill levels (see online calendar). Pretty competitive $$ too if you buy a 10 punch card.

Watched a girls high school hockey game here, and it is a nice venue for that. Good ice conditions. The pep band sounded good. There is a nice little concession stand. There are some nice meeting rooms as well.

My only complaint about the Oval is that the outdoor schedule is limited/nonexistent in the spring. Thus, I cant go there as much as I would want to. What does that say?

The have a well kept outdoor rink with regular public ice times. The cost steadily climbs each year. It is up to $6 per person for a pass now and $4 for rentals. The rentals are nice K2 skates, but they are not well maintained - laces are in shambles and you regularly need to ask for a sharper pair.

Fun time doing outdoor winter open skating. The night Christmas lights are so beautiful. No lockers or secure way to store belongings.

Great facility and location. Warmer nights get very crowded with a surprising lack of parental supervision.

Large outdoor ice rink that was family-friendly, cool skating pushchairs.

Plenty of open skating options. Ice is in great condition (refrigerated). Good vending options and on cetain days and times there is a concessions stand. My only wish is for more pricing options (e.g. a 20 time pass or an unlimited option).

Among the events and everything it has to offer, it allows public skating along with your stick and puck over lunch hours.
