Beautiful little park, quiet, lots of picknick tables spread out, a few overlooking the river. Swing set and slide for the kiddos, dog poop bags for dogs. Bathrooms are open, trails down to river are steep but accessible. Big open party area for larger gatherings with roof and brick fireplace. A few people seen fishing. Will go back soon to see what bites. Parking pass required, fee area for day use.

I love the little park, fish from the bank for smallmouth bass almost to fish every time you can not quite but pretty good. The only thing is its $4 for parking at all the parks anymore no matter if you only there for an hour or all day. Other than that its a great little Park and all the people Ive met there have been good people oh, you should go check it out, easy access down to the river and it has a little cement ledge with railing around it and a picnic table. She get down to that little ledges. Some kind of small steps with a metal railing all the way down, safe and easy for old people like me.

Nice place. $4 for a Douglas County resident and I was there for less than an hour or so.

Very disappointed with restroom, there was no soap and the water was a small dribble. Hey folks we have a pandemic going on!

Pretty enough location, but the trails down are a bit steep.

Parking is very limited, but its a cute little park. Play area is lacking, one swing is broken, leaving only one attached, slide has seen much better days. The pavilion is for around 20 people comfortably. The electric was turned off. It was decently clean though. Tried to find park host to ask some questions, but they were in their rv which has a deck with a gate, making it hard to try to make contact.I think the price to rent the pavilion is high at $60 on a weekday, more on weekend, and each guest has to also pay parking on top of that.

Well. I could write a book. So many awsome times here and walking up river from here. The new park attendant well newer. I had thought was just picking on me bout the dang fee . but hes doing his job and if he diddnt care hed just let me get a ticket or write me one himself. Im happy. But I advise any county park goer get a park pass it 30 for a year just do it. Save yourself the I o uAnd but a parking park permitIm happy

No easy access to River but still a nice area to relax. The park host is very sweet and helpful

The park was nice, my son had the park and Pavillion reserved for his wedding. But someone was butt hurt about it and made a complaint to someone, got the sheriffs dept out there which resulted a slew of tickets being written. pretty much put a damper on the wedding.

Great spot for a picnic, swimming, floating or even fishing!

Came for a wedding. The ONLY thing thats changed, in 25 yrs, is the added park host & parking fee.The reason its not 5 is the lack of fee envelopes & drop box at the entrance. I feared being ticketed.

I used to give thus place 10 stars but new manager is a douche. Im disabled and at a birthday party fur my nephew. He comes up to or large party as the kid is opening presents to say Im going to start writing tickets. I told him sorry I didnt ha d cash but if hed give me a min as I was the one responsible for pictures actively taking pictures add he says ok looks like ill just go write tickets. Art that oubt I think f it write me that big ticket ill take it up with my commissioner who I know personally. If Id had dropped everythingi was doing and walked to my car parked in handicapped I wouldnt have beaten him. What a joke. Ive been going to this place for years. Like more than ten... will be looking for other options.
