Wonderful old school rink. Great music. Perfect floors. Incredibly kind staff and visitors. I wish that I could be there every single day.Im sure that between my orthopedic and chiropractic team they would say absolutely no way. Oh well. Not done living yet.

Today I came here for my childs birthday. They were so excited and we drove an hour to this place. It turns out they did not update their website and they were closed today. This whole situation could have been avoided if they could have updated their website

A bit dated, but that was actually a plus since it gave it an authentic nostalgic feel. The staff was very attentive to beginner skaters. There was security at the door to keep everything safe. Had a great time. Will be coming back soon!

I took my 6 year old daughter. We had a great time. Pat was part of the staff that skates around and makes sure everyone is doing ok. He was very interactive with everyone and helpful!

Great place to have fun and get good exercise! The rink is clean, the staff is very friendly and the prices are reasonable (less than it would cost to go to the movies). We here in central New York are very fortunate to have this roller skating rink because many other rinks in central New York have closed over the years. Thank you, Skate-A-While for being here for those of us who love roller skating!

Love going there family friendly, it would be nice if they were open more on weekends to give kids something to do instead of hanging in the streets.

The worst experience ever! The man running the place shouldnt be anywhere near a childrens birthday party. All he does is yell at people for the whole 2 hours.

Skate nights are filled with drama, and fights outside. You cant even enjoy peace when there are teens running around acting thuggish. Needs security.

I was just here and there were roller blades on the floor. Im pretty sure theyve always been allowed. Not sure what the other reviewer is talking about.

Great Place Great Price To Have Parties A Fun Get Together

My kids go to Skate a While at least once a week for junior Roller Derby practice. Earl takes great care of the kids and the open skate is a reasonable price for lots of fun! I only wish I had a place like this closer to where I live!

This place needs a major upgrade after all the years its been around, and u cant use roller blades. Ive heard excuses why that make no sense. Ive been all over the nation and seen many skate awhile in other states. Rome is the only one that doesnt use rollerblades. Its time for an upgrade here. Its not like theres not a market for it. Lots of kids and adults like to skate.

I love skating there when i was 18 yrs old and still enjoy

Skate a while tried to sell my little sister into slavery. After my parents declined they offered 1 percent discount if they could serve my sister as chicken wings. The also only played the soviet national anthem on the speakers and the amount of loose heroin needles is staggering. Lastly and most importantly the bathrooms are not very clean.

It was great to see that there is still a place like skate a while to go for young people to enjoy. My grandson now goes there and loves it, thank you Gene for keeping it open all these years for our community.
