After visiting a community park in Alabama it makes me sad to know how much better this park could be! There is enough room here to make an amazing facility for our community
Like the disc golf course here. Also has basketball and outdoor ball fields.

The disk golf course is nice.
Its a nice little park to run, play basketball, baseball, or with your dog. One lap around the track is .7 miles. They have a roofed basketball court and a outdoor court but the outdoor court is not in that good of shape. The tennis court is trash so I recommend going to etowah park for tennis but everything else is pretty nice.

Ive been there before today for the 6th grade reward trip to eat lunch there and do tumbling there.

Nice park for familys but Shannon Park also has a darker side hidden from most people with a lot of illegal activity. Its the perfect place for younger kids & teenagers experimenting with drugs, sexual acts and fighting
Shannon Parks is great place for the grandkids to play
I grew up in Shannon. I always loved to to to that park. It sure has changed over the last 36 years
