Bradstreets Landing Park

Its beautiful and peaceful. Not for swimming but nice to go feed the birds and sit and enjoy the view of the lake. There are two bathrooms onsite. 3 benches facing the lake. Not too crowded. Ive always found a place to park, so yes parking on site for free.

The view was lovely, and the Canadian geese were gracious enough not to attack us! My husbands from Cleveland, so he knew about this hidden gem.

Just okay. I’ve been coming to this place for years, the pier still isn’t open and accessible. Tiny beach, not great for swimming. Most people come to enjoy the view, walk their dogs, and launch kayaks. In all the years I’ve been here, I’ve never seen the restrooms or food hut ever open. Really small park for such a large parking lot. Small sandy areas to the sides of the pier, with nothing to offer except a bench. There are better waterfront / beachfront parks in the area. This one is disappointing.

I love coming here! Its so calm and peaceful, the lake is beautiful, even in the winter time. People will canoe, or paddle board. I like to watch the ducks and feel the breeze. The pier itself is closed. Should be nice when they finally fix it.

Great place for a quick picnic and to see the lake. Great beach for finding beach glass.

This place is so relaxing!! Just to go and take a breather from life and sit and listen to the waves. Love it here

Used to love it. Has been 2 years and pier still not repaired. People kayak HERE a lot but beach not the best for swimming. Nice little park though.

Great beach, wonderful views of the lakePier was closed for reasons unknown and I was quite upset to be entirely frank.Public restrooms here.I enjoyed my visit.

I love going there to find beach glass. But, you couldnt cross the foot bridge, why cant it just be fixed. And the pier is closed, why, for covid, its outside? Get it together it all looks horrible.

Great place. Peir closed, walk qay closed do to COVID. Stop by, bring your water toy and play.

Have been going there for decades. Great place to catch a sunset but the city really needs to pick up their game. A diamond in the rough with a pier that needed to be upgraded years ago. City officials need to visit Lakewood and Edgewater to see what an investment can do for the community.

This is my quick go to for an escape and some photos at sunset. Only 10 minutes away and usually pretty peaceful, especially in the colder times.

Very beautiful and quite. Just listen to the water hit again the rocks seeing the seagulls do what they do. Just so peaceful

Yesrs ago, my mother-in-law began reading “ The Exorcist “. She said it was the most evil book she has ever read. So evil in fact, she couldn’t finish it, took it down to the lake where this pier is and threw it in the lake....I went out, bought another copy of the book and ran it under the faucet, and left it beside her bed.....:)

Its a great spot.to sit quietly and watch birds.

Nice lake location, currently under maintenance but will be a great place for all to visit in the near future.

The water is not too clean here BUT it looks like a great spot to have a picnic and enjoy the fresh air.

Was looking for a cool place to watch the sunset over the lake and stumbled upon this boardwalk right before a storm was hitting. Not only did we see amazing views, it was very simple and was perfect on a cool summer night. When we went, it wasnt too crowded so we got to watch some of the fishermen finishing up for the night while enjoying the views!

Rocky River has started new construction on pier and surrounding Park.

Looks like it used to be a nice park, but the pier is currently closed (and has been since 11/2017). There are plans to renovate it starting spring 2020, and the plans look very nice.

Comfortable and familiar, yet different every time.

Absolutely gross. Do Ohioans not care about The Great Lakes or Earth? More trash than rocks. An actual tampon applicator, package of sweet and sour, and a needle cap all 6 inches of each other. The water was beautiful but the disgusting beach kept me from so much as putting a toe in. The pier was closed off for structural damage. With The tax rates around here why is that accident waiting to happen still standing? Eww, just eww.

I use to give it a 5 star, but through out the yearsIt has gone down hill, fast. Its a disappointment how much Rocky River cost to live here, but the city has neglected its Citys parks. The allow the beach to become filthy, and now its pier to be closed for a year now. The city has done nothing to fix, or clean up the park. Trash everywhere, the little shop is run down and boarded up, the bridge closed off, the pier closed.But, I still love coming here. Its simple, quiet and on the water.

Used to be a nice park and Fishing Pier! dont know what happened but looks like they stopped taking care of it and closed it down very disappointing!!! Hopefully they fix it back up again such a shame

This area has great views of Lake Erie. The reason for 3 stars is that the pier for fishing is damaged so you cant walk out. Once that is repaired it will be much better. Restrooms available and some parking but can get crowded in warm weather.

Its starting to seem like they are never going to fix the pier . Its been closed forever now amd not even any signs of progress. They also should have someone spend 5 min picking up trash. I dont mind the draft wood thats natural but then the rest is just plastic and a couple rotting fish.

I moved across the street about 2 years ago. The thing that really sealed the deal for me was having this park across the street. Two months after I moved in the pier, bridge, and beach closed down and haven’t been repaired since. We are coming up on two years of ZERO construction. I read an article for the multi-million dollar, fancy plan they had for it but why? Why can’t you just repair the pier and bridge and then focus on the rest later? Pretty disappointed.

Greqt to pick up sea glass, bring your dog, a friend or family member or simply to meditate. Apparently in the past, you could rent boats here.

Calm place to be at. I wish there were more areas to sit, but overall a relaxing experience!

Love sitting and watching the boats and enjoying the water, but wish they would plant a few more shade trees there.

This use to be a great place to get out on the lake but it looks like tax dollars are going elsewhere! Theyve completely shut down the bridge and pier and even cut off foot traffic on the small bridge! Be careful crossing the creek its like quick sand now with garbage, tampons and what might be mulch! I hope they chase out the geese too and get with all the other metro park offerings! its a great spot if they care. Dont go in the restroom! Trust me!

One of the best places to visit the lake.

This was the selling point for me moving to this area. A true gem in Rocky River. Can’t wait until the pier opens up again! Best sunsets you will ever see in your life.

This place is a good place to watch the sunrise or sunset. The pier is being repared right now. It wont be finished till some time next year in October. It will be even better once the pier work is finished.

The city needs to take better care of this. Its dirty and falling apart. Its a shame it looks like this.

Nice little lakeside park. Plenty of parking, tables and benches for eating and sitting, and access to Lake Erie. Small, but scenic. Also contains an historical marker and lots of Canada geese in the summer.

Sad place now!! The piers and bridge have been closed off and are now falling apart. The place looks abandoned!!!

This is a great little park. all year if you like scavenging for rocks or beach glass you have plenty of opportunity (even in winter!). the beach area is small but still offers a nice spot by the lake. the pier closes in winter (but this is much more than just a spot to fish!) but when its open... its just amazing to walk on. the lake views are incredible. zen. or, you can just exercise, walk, roam, walk pets...so many options. its a nice little find and good for families. (and if you want to picnic, there are some tables and plenty of spaces to park.)

Beautiful lake views. Pier is temporarily closed due to weather damage accumulated over many years. If you want to see a beautiful Lake Erie sunset, this is a good, and free, place to do it.

Wish the Cleveland Metroparks take ownership of this place. Rocky River neither has the knowledge or money to keep this place up. Its in deplorable condition.

Beautiful day at the lake!

This is a great location to get on to the water if you are a kayaker or paddleboard person. The fishing pier is currently closed for repairs and not sure how long it will be closed, 2018, but when it is open it is a fantastic place to watch the sunset and fish off of. There are not many locations along the lake that give access to it so as far as that goes, this is a really good location.

It was nice to watch the waves and the ice on the pier as I ate my lunch before work.

Great little spot. 20 minutes here will change your mindset after a rough day. Someone I met on our first visit.

The City needs to fix this place up. It is a gem and the wharf is damaged and beach needs fixed up.

Best place for beach glass

This is a small park, nice in the summertime with a long pier to walk and fish on at your leisure. Look up the history on this place, its more than youd imagine at first glance. One bad thing - its across the street from a waste water treatment plant and sometimes that fragrance can carry.
