One of my favorite spots in Rochester. Absolutely beautiful in the fall. Super well maintained and people handle COVID-19 well wearing masks and keeping distance. Beautiful any time of day too. A really easy walk and well kept.

Parking can be a little difficult depending on the time of day that you go to the park - it fills up easy. So I wish the parking lot was a little bigger. Dogs are welcome here as long as they’re on a leash. There are always baby ducks or swans swimming around so it’s kind of cool to see all of the wildlife :) This is definitely a great place to ride bikes or just walk. When it’s the season, I always see people fishing too. A couple of times that I have gone, I’ve seen lots of garbage and it’s not as clean as it could be but it’s a really nice park!

A hidden gem in the heart of Rochester! We visited in late fall, past the foliage change peak. However, the view was still breath taking. The park is dog friendly. They even have poop bag stations and trash bins at the parking lot in Boxart Street, and at the north end of the trail near Ontario State Park. The main trail is paved throughout. However, there are packed-dirt side trails along the way. We are looking forward to visiting during the other seasons.

Nice walking or bikeing trails great views, kayaking and fishing the park is well kept.Visit the lighthouse at the end of the trail at the lake.

The boardwalk is over the water with great views of lily pads, frogs, lots of turtles, and extends toward lake Ontario. Theres not much shade for much of the walk so plan accordingly on sunny days. Not usually crowded. Clean, will kept. Keep track of your path when you head from the park to the boardwalk because it can be tricky when youre heading back as the path bifurcates.

Nice paved or board walks by, near,or over the water. Saw ducks, swans, seagulls, heron.

Other than the garbage in the water n marsh around bridge. The walk was great, wild life: ducks, swans, seagulls, crane and friendly people. The view excellent as well as the weather. The bridge in great shape. Looking for info on the ship thats been there for years, as to why its just sitting there

Nice place to walk if its close to you but there are better places around Rochester. It is way too busy here

Very beautiful piece of Rochester NY, will definitely be exploring this areas trails alot more. Many sites to see here, definitely bring your walking shoes and some water. You will definitely lose track of time here.

Decent green space for a jog, hike, walk, etc. Most trails are paved and work for a stroller or bike. Some nice lookouts over the Genesee River- though its usually brown and murky. If you go down to the boardwalk, its pretty, but be careful- some of the boards are popping up and they are trip hazards. Also, unfortunately people have been littering the marshlands and no one is cleaning up the trash thats getting in the marsh.

Perfect walking/biking trail. Very pretty scenery. Lots of walkers, dogs and bicycles.

A great place to go for a beautiful walk. The wooden walkway lets you hover above the Genesee River, which is really special. Theoretically you can walk all the way up to Charlotte beach. I only wish there was a loop on this trail to get back to the trailhead, rather than walking the same path.

Had a lovely time walking in this trail. Ideal for walking, cycling and dog walking. We walked to the Ontario beach park and came back which was like 40 min walk one way. Nice place to see wildlife!

Very suprised with this walking / bike path. It has a big hill about a half hour mile in to get down to water level. There is a nice board walk. We went North on the path and that ended about 3.75 miles later at the end of the pier at the beach. The kids enjoyed some ice cream at Charlotte beach before we came back. We have not walked to the South yet.

It was more developed then the last time we were there. We enjoyed walking along the foot bridge at the waters edge.

Great easy bike ride and l that takes you to Ontario beach park where you can hang out and stop at restaurants for food or grab some ice cream

The boardwalk is definitely my favorite part, but there are also plenty of paved paths that also accommodate strollers, wheelchairs, and bikes.

Nice hiking along scenic paths for brisk waking, meditation or quiet moments & conversations with companions. We were delighted to see swans concealed among the green growth in the water, resting peacefully, gliding when shifting positions. A time to marvel at the beauty of life and our natural parks.

Nice walk. Part in the shade and part in full sun. One small hill. Easy walk. Saw deer and fawn, swans and cygnets, turtles, fish, and chipmunks.

This was the first time that I went on this trail and I was amazing very easy to navigate especially when I have someone with me that is totally blind and relies on me for their navigation I will definitely go on this trail many more times

I love this area, but if you cant hike up and down hills, I dont recommend it. Its a great place for adventurers and mountain bikers though... both of which is me.

So pretty by the water. There is a paved, flat walking trail BUT there is a steep hill to get down to the boardwalk area so if accessibility is important to you, keep that in mind.There are also some natural trails through the woods off the main trail that are fun to explore.

Very nice park somewhat hidden from Rochester. Parking is a little difficult to find, but worth visiting. If you like to walk on a long pedestrian bridge, this is the place to be! Can get a bit slippery in the winter when it’s covered in snow, but it was great!

I had never been here until about 2 years ago and I wish I had known about it sooner. The Riverwalk is beautiful and the woods trails are nice too. The trails tend to get slippery though. Bring boots.

We love this park and how quiet it is, especially since its in the city of Rochester. We got to see a cement freighter turn around today...hence the name of the park. We saw lots of turtles and carp too.

It took me like 30 to 45mins to walk the whole bridge. Very nice place take a walk or bike around. There are multiple trails to walk too. I 100% recommend this place.

A great place for a walk in the fall. The leaves are gorgeous this time of year and you get the best view walking the bridge path.

Nice layout and clean and pet friendly.portable toilet in parking lot .Nice well kept path ways beautiful location that leads strait to the lake Ontario park .The park also has a kayak launch .many locations at the park to fish as well .the park even has a few unmarked dirt trails to offer some of map exploring over all a well rounded park to spend some time in .

Super cool long boardwalk, well worth the trip. Ran into a beautiful 8 point buck on the trail too.
