One of my fav places to go and enjoy a long walk

Small park, but well kept with a clean porter-John. If you follow the canal west, just under the road bridge over the canal, there is a park to the right with bathrooms and awesome trails. Henpeck Park is an optimal place to park to walk on the canal, as it is literally on the canal itself.

This is a convenient entrance to the canal path for walking or running. This stretch of the canal isnt paved and it can have muddy patches and puddles. There is a small grassy area and a couple tables in this park but it is mostly just a parking lot for using the canal.

Easy access to the canal path with some handicapped parking. Busiest on weekends, early arrival advised.

We walk the canal here once a week or so. Nice for walking bike riding and fishing. Wish they had more parking.

Nice park to take walks. Fishing was tough because the boats speed was too fast and caused large waves.

Beautiful section of the Erie Canal. Pristine park with good parking and convenient places to unload your gear and kayak. Nice dock. Love the murals under the bridge. This section of the canal has little boat traffic but the walking/biking path along the waterway is well utilized. A favorite launch spot for a one day or multi day paddle.

Has couple picnic tables. More for entry to canal path and boat docking. Lot of people fish there.

Its quiet here and you can go fishing and walking and riding the bike.

Little piece of heaven on earth. Packed a lunch and social distanced with my sister. Look forward to doing it again.

It is a small park. Great place to walk beside the erie canal, fish or just enjoy the day. They have a couple of barbeques and picnic tables. There is also a small boat launch and access to greece canal park along the path.

This is a great place to visit. There is access to fishing, a boat launch for canoes and kayaks. There are grills for cooking and benches. The parking area is big but on some days its packed. The canal path is there and you can walk down to canal park which is west of Hen peck park; just an all around great place to hang out.

Visited yesterday for a walk in the late afternoon it was pleasant, clean and safe

A great spot for hiking, bike-riding, and even boating around the Erie Canal. You could even take the path from here to the Greece Canal Park and vice-versa. Plenty of nature to observe, though we have seen instances of individuals not picking up their trash. In one instance, we saw a jug of windshield washer fluid in the canal.

Beautiful area to walk. They actually have bags to pick up dog poop and a garbage can. The bags werent filled last time I was there though. Quite a few people and dogs walking. Not everyone picks up after their dogs though

We had a good time(fishing)

I walk my dog here every day. Its quiet and peaceful. Many people come here to fish so it must be a good fishing spot as well. There is a pet waste disposal basket with pet waste bags that they usually keep maintained.

Great access to the canal thats on the quiet side.

I give 3 stars because a big limb of a tree fell down, and tree itself isnt doesnt look good and it groves in a place that if it were to fall it could kill someone. But park doesnt care enough to cut it. Otherwise its nice park.

Parking is right next to canal path. Park here to ride my bike. Also, has a boat launch. Porta potty, no other bathrooms.

Henpeck Park is a really nice little park that borders the Erie Canal. It has a few picnic benches and a BBQ grills. If youre in a boat, this park has a really nice boat launch that you can use to tie up the boat and hang out here for bit, or use this as a convenient place to start your canal ride. I believe most people use this park for a lunch break as it is within driving distance of a lot of corporate office buildings.

This is a small park on the Erie canal. It has a dock, picnic tables, and a grill or two. Not much else. It also has parking for the Canal Trail.

Supposed car top boat launch is a ladder on the side of​ a wall that is 3-5 feet above the water! Not easy getting in or out of a kayak.
