Very inspiring. The history that is found within the Mt.Hope cemetery is astounding. This is a wonderful place to visit the grounds are beautiful.

Mount Hope Cemetery is an absolute gem, it is the final resting place of Susan B Anthony and Frederick Douglass, as well as many more historical and interesting people. There are innumerous gorgeous statuary, tombstones, mausoleums. Its all set in a beautiful setting filled with ancient trees, making for spectacular fall foliage viewing. Its hills and ravines keep deer, foxes, woodchucks, Hawks and other wildlife happliy & safely living off the land! The Friends of Mount Hope offer very interesting yours from spring thru fall...highly recommend a visit and tour!!! This place is a 10+++ !!

Even in the dead of Winter this cemetery is amazing!

One of the greatest Americans. Her grave is very easy to find with Google maps. People usually leave small gifts as a tribute, especially on election day, when her gravestone is often covered with I voted stickers. Its a relatively modest headstone.

This cemetery is one of the most beautiful Ive ever been to. Take your time to see more than just the historic graves. Find the pond and walk from there, there are some real treasures and nuances tobe found!

Worth a visit, especially if you are well versed about Susan B. Anthony and the extraordinary life she lived fighting for womens rights. You can also visit the house she lived in (now a museum) a short drive across town.Her entire family is buried here too so youll see other names besides hers.

An very well taken care of grave. Grave can get a bit crowded on Election days.

Visited today and paid my respects to this amazing woman who is probably turning in her grave with Trump in office.

You would think there would be a huge monument, but it was a very humble gravesite and I believe thats how Susan B. Anthony would want it. She did so much for women and it was an honor just going to the gravesite and seeing it.

Mt Hope is a great place to walk around. Quiet and peaceful, very hilly and historically interesting.
