Great place. Wonderful set up. Definitely top on the list of ones Ive done. Plan to go back again.

I am an escape room fanatic having done about 40 rooms and I would recommend unraveled escape room. My friends and I are especially interested in scary/spooky rooms and this is the perfect place if you want that kind of experience. We drove out about 2 hours to this place and booked all 3 rooms. We made two out of three escape rooms with four people. The owner had said he was very impressed as their escape rooms are a little more difficult than most.Alcatraz reminded me a lot of other Prison Break styled rooms. We started off in handcuffs and made it through quite quickly although the puzzles started getting harder and harder and time was running out quick. There was a really simple puzzle that took us a long time but that puzzle was the one to get us out of the room and thankfully we made it.Asylum is definitely a spooky room. You enter with nothing more than a couple candles and the whole 1 hour experience is in the dark. This room felt never ending with puzzles back to back. There is just so much information to take in and use. This room also had a very difficult puzzle in the end that we had to solve to get out but thankfully we also completed that in time. I would say this room was my favorite just because it was in the dark and the puzzles were not too overly complicated even though there was a lot of them.CSI was the most difficult room. It was described as a good mix of asylum and Alcatraz. The puzzles in this room are definitely more advanced. I would not recommend this room for a group of four, you definitely need a lot of people to work on different things at once. This room by far is the scariest escape room I have ever done. I cant spoil it too much but if you need a good scare and laugh I would definitely recommend this one. We needed a lot of help in this room but nonetheless still had a lot of fun. Although we didnt manage to escape within the 60 minutes the owner was extremely nice and allowed us to finish the room. We finished 10 minutes overtime but there was so much to this room that we missed. So if you ever go always remember to check every inch of every room.This place is great, I cant wait for them to come out with more rooms. If you ever go, you need to suit up, get your thinking caps on, be prepared to scream, crawl, jump, shout, and laugh. It was a blast!ALSO, WE DIDNT TAKE A PICTURE! I WISH WE DID!

Disclaimer: I work at an escape room business in the Twin Cities but it isnt affiliated with this place at all.I played their Alcatraz room and had a ton of fun! One of my favorite parts of it was the historical component and making the room feel like an actual escape from Alcatraz. The puzzles in the room were also fantastic. They were complicated but very doable and logical! The staff/owner was very friendly and fun! I will definitely be back.

The best escape room experience Ive had so far.There was some crawling and ducking into tight spaces from to get from room to room, so if you have any concerns about physical limitations I would call ahead. One or two people were needed to crawl to advance.Did CSI: Rochester with family on Thanksgiving weekend (4 people that havent done a room before). It was a doable room with some hints.Had a very good experience, will be going back to the other rooms!

I have done several escape rooms in Rochester and one in Austin, TX. Unraveled has been the best experience by far. Their escape room decor makes you feel like youre living the experience. The themes are tailored to you or to the town of Rochester making them very unique. The owners have incorporated surprising and scary elements that make these rooms so memorable!! I recommend this to everyone! Do these rooms!

Fun place. The entire family had a great time.

The CIS room was less CIS themed and more escape the murderers hideout. Room was heavily used; many clues needed to be reprinted and the addition of flashflights would help finding clues.

I would never go here. The reason: The owner, Jackie, also runs an Airbnb apartment that was a total nightmare: bed sinking to the floor, toilet not flushing properly, ton of dust, and deceptive description. She obviously used the Escape Room idea for her Airbnb. Staying there makes you want to escape. Oh, btw, she does not issue refunds for dissatisfied customers.

We loved this escape room! We have been to Unraveled once before (Spirits of the Asylum) and were equally pleased. We have been to one other escape room in Rochester and although we liked that one too, we found Unraveled’s more creative and were more immersed in the mood and experience. We would highly recommend this adventure.

The puzzles were great. The experience was great. The set up, atmosphere, story line, logic and consistency were all great. Jake was the perfect host. What more could you ask for. Thanks for a fun evening.

Our group escaped the Asylum and Alcatraz! We have played dozens of escape the rooms around the country as we travel and this one is definitely now one of our favorites! The immersive experience is thrilling from the moment before entering the rooms and really sets the mood well for each theme! The puzzles presented definite challenge and it was helpful to have a large group working together! It would help immensely if a screen with our timer is installed in the rooms like most places have, but they make sure to give time warnings. I hope to return one day when they add another room!

I love the mystery behind the whole thing from beginning to end even the starting names that mean nothing is just so fun. It can be super difficult and super easy at the same time. Highly recommended.

This was the first time I experienced an escape room. It was so much fun. I loved the different puzzles and the challenge of putting it together. Well done! We had a family group including a little one and it all worked out perfectly.

We had out of town family here and UNRAVELED Escape Room was the perfect activity to enjoy for adults and teens alike. We laughed our heads off and worked together. This was definitely a memory making activity and we cant wait to try the other room and those are that still to come!

By far the best team building event you can do! Had a blast with my colleagues completing the Alcatraz challenge with 44 seconds left! Great setup, rooms, clues and fun!Would highly recommend Unraveled! Will be back for more challenges!

Fun experience for a group. I have never been to an escape room before and ended up going for a friends birthday. It will keep you busy looking for clues and you will definitely have fun with your friends. In my opinion, it would be better if the group size is a maximum of 7. We went with 10 and the space is not big enough to comfortably fit 10 people and keep them busy at all times.

We had such a fun experience at this escape room! We have been to others before and found this one to be one of the best! It was challenging, entertaining and themed all the way through! This was a unique and fun twist on the escape room experience. Well definitely be back to check out the rest of the rooms! The atmosphere gets you in the game mode, and gives you a in character feel. If youre wondering where to go, check this place out. You wont be disappointed.

Had so much fun with my 2 favorite people

My group of 8 did the asylum escape challenge, we managed to complete it with only 2 minutes to spare! The room was done spectacularly and with great attention to detail. Very few puzzles felt out of place, most fit the room perfectly. I would highly recommend Unraveled to anyone.

Very organized, fun for all ages and levels. I took my 12 year old daughter and her friends and was able to watch from a tablet as they figured out how to get out of their room. As I sat there I thought how fun it would be for a group outing with other couples and then go to Foragers....then the owner said they have a great package deal with Foragers. I am organizing couples now to get the $120 worth of giftcards for $100 ($60 from each) thats a great deal for fun, food and drinks at two well run businesses!! I cant wait. All the kids wanted to have their future birthdays there. It was a great experience.

Only 1 of our family group of 10 had done an escape room before so we were a little nervous. We ALL had a really great time and each person contributed in some way. This is a TON of FUN! Well probably come back and do another room.

It was awesome! We had a great time with both adults and teenagers. Everybody worked together putting the clues together and had a lot of laughs and excitement. Very fun, will try the other rooms too.

This is the fourth Escape company Ive been to and this is definitely the best one. We did Escape from Alcatraz. I like it how the clues matched the theme and the intro got us into the right mood. Fun times!

We had the second part of our Christmas party here this year and it was GREAT! Large play area with a lot of cool stuff. Good company event!

We did Alcatraz. It was a fully involved experience. Without giving it away too much, the handcuffs gave this room a cool twist. Staff was friendly. Hard to find the sign outside, but we found it! Too bad we dont live in town, or Id go back!

Weve done many escape rooms across the country and this room ranks with the best of them. Its pretty challenging so I wouldnt recommend it to a beginner. The atmosphere is creepy and dimly lit rooms add to the challenge. We enjoyed it so much we went back later in the day to play another room. Well come back when CSI is ready!

Our work group had a great time working through all of the puzzles and challenges. They do a great job of following a story line, the props are awesome, and its really a great way to do some team building or just have fun with some friends (or maybe even strangers). Id highly recommend Unraveled.

We had a fabulous time at our CSI challenge. The owner was personally there and able to tell us their story. She got into character without us even knowing and made the whole experience fun! I would highly recommend this!

We did the Asylum room, very fun and very immersive. Rooms had a great theme and were decorated to feel like a real asylum. This was our groups first ever escape room and we were very impressed and will definitely be back to try another.

We had a group of 6 adults and we all had a blast! None of us had ever been to an escape room so we had no idea what to expect. It was fun and challenging and we enjoyed every minute of it!

This was such a great experience. This was the first time I have been in an escape room so I dont have anything to compare it to, but I thought it was challenging yet fun. The owners put a lot of effort into the storylines, rooms, and props, which makes the experience all the better. It is a little on the expensive side, but I thought it was well worth it.

We had so much fun! A well designed escape room. I wish it was $5-$10 cheaper a person so we could afford to go more often!

We had 3 families with us, age range from 10 years and up. Everyone was involved and had a great time. Only negative would be the price. Not everyone would be able to afford to try it.
